Joe Don Baker as the a guy living in a Tennessee town— so corrupt that he decides to run for sheriff  (and wins) in order to clean it up from the inside?  That one.   I think it was based on the true story of Sheriff  Pusser.  Anyway, even though the hero is shot up and his wife was killed, he nails the bastids!   It's like Issa going after Holder and Obama.  Except I don't expect either will ever pay a price for their lawbreaking.  That's what living in this environment reminds me of; that utter frustration of knowing it doesn't matter who's innocent or guilty; Don't matter what's right or wrong.  Don't matter that nobody trusts a ballot count in half the country. What matters is whether you're on the right side (meaning the wrong side)  politically.  After five weeks MSNBC's Matthews, O'Donnell, Schultz and Sharpton still haven't reported Solyndra! The trigger today, aside from everything else,  is the wall-to-wall showing of  the (ABC produced) EARTH 2001 on the History 2 channel.   What utter crap!
