We in trouble; you sit on yer ass

We are in trouble...

The population of this country is 300 million.

  • 160 million are retired.

  • That leaves 140 million to do the work.

  • There are 85 million in school.

  • Which leaves 55 million to do the work.

  • Of this there are 35 million employed by the federal government.

  • Leaving 20 million to do the work.

  • 2.8 million are in the armed forces preoccupied with killing Osama Bin-Laden.
  • Which leaves 17.2 million to do the work.

  • Take from that total the 15.8 million people who work for state and city Governments. And that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.

  • At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals.

  • Leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.

  • Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons.
  • That leaves just two people to do the work.

  • You and me.
And there you are, sitting on your ass, at your computer, reading jokes.

    Nice.

    Real nice.

    We're Funding La Raza

    Publicly Funded La Raza Group
    Publicly Funded?

The influential Mexican La Raza group that’s received millions of federal tax dollars to promote its leftist, open-borders agenda has added several new branches to its growing network of community organizations dedicated to serving Latinos. [Judicial Watch]
    Obama gives secret gang sign
La Raza is yet another in the Soros network of groups designed to destroy the nation's cultural heritage and way of life.  And we''re funding it?  JFC!

    Northwestern University Shame

    What's the Worry
    What's the Fuss

    ayers-dohrn

    Northwestern University.
Bill Ayers and wife Bernardine Dohrn
Whom together  as part of Weather Underground's assault on the United States  murdered Brian V. McDonnell, a sergeant with the San Francisco Police Department in 1970.
Dohrn is an associate law professor at Northwestern.
    Shameful.
Northwestern University.  With a student body loaded with privileged trust babies, they famously mock other Big Ten teams who are pounding them on the athletic fields:

Add to that legacy this: Sex Toy Demonstration in College Class Causes Controversy

A class taught by Professor John Michael Bailey of Northwestern University caused some amount of controversy after he used a live model to demonstrate the use of a sex toy called the “Fucksaw.”

The 600-person course is one of the largest classes taught at the university, although only 120 students attended this particular class.

Professor Bailey defended his demonstration of the device, arguing that teaching students about sexual diversity, including the use of extreme sex toys like the “fucksaw” was a necessary part of their education on human sexuality, almost implying that they couldn’t simply research these topics on their own via the internet.

    Stinking Bubbles

There’s a bubble in talk about bubbles

    Stinking Bubbles

There may or may not be a bubble in Internet startup valuations. But one thing in which there is definitely a bubble is in talk by journalists, investors and anyone else looking to raise their online profile through constant punditry about bubbles.

A recent Google News keyword search for instances of “Internet” and “bubble” unearthed 960 links. Facebook, Twitter and Zynga are bubbles, said one. Is Yelp: the dot com bubble part deux? asked another. One more asked: Is Twitter the harbinger of the second bubble?
I have very bad memories about them stinking bubbles.  Sigh.

Trump says Michael Moore a communist

Documentation, observers say Trump ‘communist’ accusation against Michael Moore not too far off
    Duh

Evidence shows Moore has a long history of pro-communist sympathies dating back to at least 1986 when he was fired from Mother Jones magazine for refusing to publish an article by Paul Berman that was critical of the communist Sandinistas’ human rights record.

    Trump calls Moore a communist

Moore even expressed admiration for Castro in his 1997 book “Downsize This.”

The filmmaker also spoke at the 1998 Socialist Scholars Conference at the City University of New York, which was sponsored by the university’s chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America. The theme of the conference that year was “One Hundred and Fifty Years After The Communist Manifesto.”

An October 2002 capture of Moore’s website from Archive.org shows him recommending links to the Democratic Socialists of America and Solidarity: A Socialist Feminist Organization.

    Trump calls Moore a communist
“Michael Moore is a communist Leninist, Stalinist,” political commentator and former leftist David Horowitz told The Daily Caller, noting the Mother Jones Sandinista episode.

But Horowitz’s colleague and fellow former communist-turned-conservative activist Ron Radosh disagrees with Horowitz’s description of Moore as a “communist”, saying the filmmaker is more of a garden variety ‘60s neo-Marxist radical than a Marxist-Leninist in the mold of the Communist Party USA.

“He is anti-American, pro any activism, and a demagogue,” Radosh told TheDC. “CPrs [communist party members] were shrewder and more ideological, adhering to a line. Moore knows nothing about Marxism and couldn’t care less about it.

“I would call him a far-left extremist and radical, who follows the most extreme trajectory of the 60’s New Left.”

    Morning Announcements & Roll Call

    Yoeman Commodore Jamie McD

Since I never bother you with my own computer prollems, preferring instead to suffer in silence (ahem) , I didn't tell you that MoSup's computer crashed last week and I spent all weekend reconstructing her non-backed up system, which job to back-up was mine.  Everything running smoothly except I cannot get her Verizon e-mail to send (it receives) using Thunderbird and I just spent all morning working on that without success instead of rabble rousing against Obamunists or otherwise being useful.  Just so you know.

On the subject of stuff not working - Jamie McD is at wits end because he can't post comments on this site.  It would not be unreasonable for him to conclude that I had for some reason blocked him, and he did wonder that, but in 9 years of C&S I have blocked just one person.  Yoeman Commodore JMcD is a valued Barn Army friend, and I continue to search for reasons.  Unless of course ... wait.  Maybe JMcD was captured on his last mission (to find e-Claire went missing while looking for Linda SOG) and this is a Taliban trick to get Barn Army information.  JMcD - answer if you can.  If  you're being held captive say something like "mmrnpoohhh".
