I forget

Off my mind

-

Some time ago, 5 years or more, I posted about a company in Europe (Sweden?)  that you could send your idea, plans, blueprints, etc, and they would build the prototype for a very reasonable price.  You could then sell the product and they would manufacture, ship, and bill it; then pay you the mark-up.  In other words a Zazzle for furniture, lawnmowers, or sex toys.  I cannot for the life of me find that post.  Does anyone remember it?

Wisconsin fixes faulty carry law

If it's broke, fix it—
Local law enforcement comments on 'concealed carry'

Gov. Scott Walker signed into law Senate Bill 93, the concealed carry legislation, Friday afternoon, July 8 in Wausau. Wisconsin will join 48 other states which permit citizens to carry concealed guns.

The Personal Protection Act includes a licensing process, criminal background checks and firearms safety training (with certain exemptions for members of the military, retired law enforcement personnel and citizens who have already completed a hunter's safety course) for those who wish to conceal and carry weapons. Carrying a gun without a permit would be a misdemeanor.

The bill passed with the bi-partisan support in both the State Senate, 25-8, and the State Assembly, 68-27. In the Senate, six Democrats voted in favor. In the Assembly vote on Tuesday, June 28, 11 Democrats and one independent joined 56 Republican representatives in support of the measure, with Republican Don Pridemore of Hartford voting against.

The bill had passed the state legislature previously in 2003 and 2005 but was vetoed from becoming law by Walker's predecessor, Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle.

Clark impatiently looked at his watch— for the second time in a minute. With a heavy sigh of resignation he picked up the carving knife.

"Well kids, it looks like your mother ran off with another man.  No use waiting any longer.  Let's eat."

"Dibs on the drumstick" cried little Sarah.
