My neighbor is going on a drive around the US.  He saw this picture and thought "what a quaint little city."  Didn't know how to find it though.   Simple, I told him, I'll Google U.S. cities named Bavaria.  Guess what? There are none.  There's a New Bavaria, OH., but they don't have a "city mobility center." There's a Bavaria City in Ireland (English language), but they don't have one either.  I know it's not Bavaria Germany (again, Inglis language), but where?  It looks like a neat little town and he'd really like to see the sights  Anyone?

Welfare cheat

       WHAT GUMMINT DOES

A New Brunswick GA. woman noticed her $400 purse was missing from her car,
and with it a wallet valued at $200, and $800 in cash.  And her food stamp card.

The value of welfare has actually exceeded more than just entry-level paychecks.  The Heritage Foundation recently published a report showing “the average individual who relies on Washington could receive benefits valued at $32,748, more than the nation’s average disposable income of $32,446.”  According to Heritage’s calculations, “government dependency jumped 8.1 percent in the past year, with the most assistance going toward housing, health and welfare, and retirement.” [Human Events]

Merrily sent me the only news clip of this "too good to be true" sounding story that I've seen posted on several blogs.  I think it's true, but the point made about welfare is valid in any case..

Charles Johnson does a Tom Swift

SMARMY ASSHAT COMEUPPANCES - Charles Johnson Chapter
Somehow, I doubt that’s going to have much effect on the unstoppable Birthers.

Res Ipsa Loquitur

I had to visit LGF to see how Charles Johnson, a preeminent "wet-back denier" was handling the “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.” bombshell.  If at all.  He did, here. If I was a journalist, I'm not, I would peruse the 727 comments (I am impressed) to see whether dissent is allowed to rear its ugly head on LGF.  For his part Chucky avers—

This is hardly the only mistaken mention of his birth in Kenya. Some pretty mainstream sources made this rookie mistake back when Obama was at the start of his political path. Pretty stupid to make anything out of it.

So, in a flash, Tom Swift escaped!  Somehow, I doubted it would have much effect on the unstoppable Wet-back Deniers.

SEE-LECTED before EE-LECTED

The Obamissariat

We keep forgetting that Obama was SEE-LECLTED before he was E-LECTED ... he's accountable to those who selected him.

If you've listened to the audio From Rev. Wright’s Shocking Interview With Obama Book Author Ed Klein [The Blaze],  you might agree with me that the most chilling segment is this one.  While Farrakhan is obliquely included, along with Wall Street, and others mentioned, I am strongly of the opinion that the principle architect  were Bill Ayers's network—   after Frank Marshall Davis and Khalid al-Mansour handed him off.

PS - Here's a nice tag-along story: Muslim Brotherhood Wants to Re-Elect Barack Hussein Obama

Freschetta Pizza - Best Ever

Best EverFrozen Pizza
Freschetta Brick Oven
When MoSup is away, as she is now, I live on frozen pizza, hot dogs, salad, and black beans out of the can.  Last night I had this Freshetta pizza, and IMO it was the best frozen pizza I ever had, and maybe the best pizza period! — except for Ledo Pizza made the right way (Columbia, MD only) .The perfect accompaniment, of course, are anchovies.  Hucker gets them for me by the 28 oz. can, and they are delish.

You're welcome

Buffet buys 63 newspapers

   Hitler's Mustache

Obama financial enabler buys up 63 newspapers

While "alerts" that George (Junior Nazi) Soros  is buying-up firms that make guns and ammunition was a contrivance, this is not.

Berkshire Hathaway buys 63 newspapers
.Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway has bought 63 newspapers from Media General for $142 million, the companies announced today.

Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary BH Media Group will now add daily and weekly titles in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama to the Omaha World-Herald Company newspapers it already owns. Those papers include the Richmond Times-Dispatch (VA) and the Winston-Salem Journal (NC). Media General, which also owns 18 network-affiliated television stations, will hold its Tampa, Florida, newspapers.

At best, I see Buffet's role with Obama as similar to the German Industrialists who supported Hitler, thinking that they could "control" him.  At worst, he's Albert Speer. Agree or disagree, axe yourselves this question.  What would the story line be if the Koch brothers, or Rush Limbaugh,  tried to buy 63 "Heartland" newspapers?  Hmmmm?

LIARS

Res Ipsa Loquitur

I'm wondering.  When was the last time I saw anything from this gaggle of geese?  They pretty much disappeared after taking Clinton's side against his sexual assault victims defined who they really were - National Organization of Liberal Hags,  LTD. Very.  They're liars.  Media Matters, whose numbers they use, are liars too, and enjoy the same journalistic gravitas of the old Soviet TASS and IZVESTIA party propagandists.  They keep the useful idiots supplied with "oh-yeah's."  And by the way, "Sandra Fluke" has become a punch line.  Here's ABC News from May 7.

The conservative commentator estimated that as many as 18,000 companies could be advertising on any one of the 600 or so stations that broadcast his three-hour radio program.

“ABC News, who understands how this works and are purposely misrepresenting it, is out there ballyhooing that we have lost 28 sponsors,” Limbaugh said. “Twenty-eight sponsors out of 18,000! That’s like losing a couple of french fries in the container when it’s delivered to you at the drive-thru. You don’t even notice it.” [ABC NEWS]
