I'm still laughing over that one. That ranks up there with one I heard on the Bob & Tom Show years ago. They were reading a news story about how now-adult Baby Jessica (Midland, TX baby who fell down the well) and her husband had just had their first child and immediately Chick McGee say "I'll bet they're on city water." I about drove off the road.
Anyways, long as this is an open thread (thank you, Sir) I wanted to talk about the Healthcare.gov fiasco. I don't think that website is ever going to function properly, but even if it does, the next shoe to fall will be the security (or rather, lack of security) problem.
Therefore, I propose that every senator and representative who voted for 0bamacare, plus everyone in the 0bama administration, be required to go to the website and sign up. They don't have to actually buy insurance--they just they need to input all their personal information to the database.

Shopping tip: I went out to Publix an hour before they closed last night. Of course they were sold out of the miserable turkeys on sale. So the meat manager marked down big fresh premium birds to the sale price for me. That's 65% off what is already the best protein deal of the year.

What a great day! Happy Thanksgiving...and Lord, thank you for your bounty, blessings and America. In your Mercy please find a way that we can all repeat this day next year! I was going to add that the mealtime prayer today but being amongst the "Frozen Chosen" and mostly old calloused A&M engineering grads we skipped the niceties and went right for the chow. Oh well, they still love Jesus.
So, I ask this for all my friends here at the King's hideaway. May we all do it again next year fully knowing it's against the odds.
Damn, I ate too much.
