The 'update' link just goes to blogger.com. Am I supposed to write my own?

You left out Fox - which is only slightly better than the others. Anybody that would employ Geraldo can't be much better, nicht vahr?

I must disagree about FOX. Our, erm, my beef with the media isn't that they flood the airway with liberal agitprop, disinformation, and lies through neglect; it's that they do it in a vacuum. FOX, to their credit, actually do cover both sides of the issue, which drives the left crazy.

Can you watch FOX all day without being exposed to every which-way of everything? No. Can you watch the alphabets and not miss a thing? LOL.

"The people will believe what the media tells them they believe."

A grain of sand, but not enough to build a pearl of wisdom upon.

People are naturally gregarious. That's good; our survival depends on it. So we are influenced by what we hear from others, as well as what we see for ourselves. This broadens our minds and helps us escape dangerous single perspectives.

For example, we came to know God only indirectly by the words and acts of Jesus, as they were retold by just the words of Biblical authors. So is the Bible "the media" now? That doesn't seem so bad.
