We chose Tennessee for our new facility expansion. Our plans for that location are extensive and long-lasting.

We chose Tennessee because the governor and legislators in that state understand what it means to support businesses (such as through job recruitment and training programs) that improve employment in the state without treating companies as a necessary evil.

We chose Tennessee also because the vast majority of its residents and their elected officials have shown that they respect and honor the American tradition of personal freedoms, including the right to bear arms.

Given MD's longstanding anti-business, not to mention anti-gun bia, I never understood why Beretta chose PG County to begin with,  just as I can't figure out why Amazon is building a huge fulfillment complex in Maryland.

Fourteen applications to create non-profit medical marijuana dispensaries in Worcester County were received by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) this week to begin phase 1 of the dispensary application process. This is another step in the lengthy saga that began last year to bring medical marijuana to the state after it was legalized by a voter ballot initiative last year. In sum, the state received 181 applications to open dispensaries across the state.

Lingering Issues

But this comes amid lingering questions from both sides of this controversial debate concerning the pace and adequacy of the entire process.

Why let neighborhood numbers racketeers take all that cash when we can have it ourselves?
Why let illegal pot growers make all that loot when we can do it ourselves?
