THE CROWN

The Crown traces the life of Queen Elizabeth II from her wedding in 1947 to the present day. It is expected to span 60 episodes over six seasons, with Claire Foy playing the Queen in the early part of her reign

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 91% approval rating based on 43 reviews, with an average rating of 8.7/10. The website's critical consensus reads, "Powerful performances and lavish cinematography make The Crown a top-notch production worthy of its grand subject."[25] On Metacritic, the film holds a score of 81 out of 100, based on 29 critics, indicating "universal acclaim".

John Lithgow's role as Winston Churchill is, IMO, on a par with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance as Truman Capote.  Perfect!  The biggest loser so far is a churlish Prince Phillip, although I suspect he will mellow out over time, and, deservedly so,the Duke of Windsor and Wallis Simpson for whom history has already spoken.

I've oft wondered how much money the existence of the Royal Family has generated for the UK.

Rajah--

Is the perfidy of Episode 4 provable?

And in the context of spy leaks in the U.S., is it possible that trusted players within government would work against the interests of a nation's leader?
