My Amendment

''The Chair recognizes Senator Schlong''
Mr. President, I request that my amendment to raise the the age requirement for election to this great body, from 30 to 80, be sent to the floor for a vote.

Mr. President, I am proposing that the level of dementia occurring at such an advanced age can hardly make a difference in our current produce.

Mr. President, I am proposing that this change will have the salubrious effect of imposing much needed term limits on this body.
