election depression

Beans for Me

Since the election this site has lost 800 viewers/day. I really don't care since donations are the same (lol). I can only ascribe it to severe news depression on their part. My Joe Namath-like prediction may have packed the house, but unlike Joe I didn't follow through, and so I let them down. Joe's in the Hall of Fame, and I eat beans. (Did you know that in his entire career, Namath only beat about 10 teams with a winning record? ) . For what it's worth, I feel the same way much of the time, but I'm confident we'll regroup. So let's have fun with these nincompoops while we can.

Oh bullshit. I don't even believe that. I want to fight with knives.

Actually though, I was getting kind of surprised at how many new people were commenting here. When I came along there were maybe two who always posted, then the odd 3 who posted whenever something really caught their eye...then suddenly people I've never seen before were starting indepth conversation :-\. On the bright side- I think the trolls have dropped- must be the new can of TrollBGone you got. I haven't had to threaten to fulfill my duties as Samurai AG in quite a while.

I visit as often as before- just haven't felt much like commenting lately. Still mourning the VA Senate race I guess.
