False rape complaints

Begging a certain question down yonder
Nifong's big catch
A Superior Court judge gave Hartford police the go-ahead Thursday to arrest a woman who sparked outrage in the city's black community when she admitted she made up a story about being raped by a heavyset black man in Bushnell Park, police and court officials said.

An arrest warrant was issued for the woman, who filed the report in November.

In recanting her story, the woman, who is white, told police she had been raped - not by a black man in the park but by another man she knew in another location.

Despite the criminal charge against her, authorities Thursday would not name the woman because they still believe she is a sexual assault victim whose identity is protected by the state's rape-shield law.

Some criminal lawyers argued late Thursday that she should be identified, saying she lost protection when she filed a false report.

It will be interesting to watch those same kind of so called black leaders if the Duke rape liar gets arrested. I agree that the woman above should be arrested. You finger the wrong person intentionally, you go to jail. Rape or no. It's just sad to see how decades of being dumbed down by a failing education system and welfare has zapped the once great collective intelligence of the black community. It really is sad.

To follow up, I say it is sad what has happened to the collective intelligence of the black community based on the reactions to the Duke rape case, as well as Malice Greene in Detroit, the LA 4, OJ, etc. Look at those cases and you'll see a problem.

My immediate thought is that we have been throughly Balkanized into a hundred factions, and each has its own goals, and own defintion of ''victory.'' National unity no longer exists. But we do have diversity.
