About a week ago I contributed my two cents' worth to John Edwards via a "contact us" bar on one of his support blogs.
Since then I've received 3 auto-generated "thank you for your support" notes, one ostensibly from his mother.
Here's my response to one of them:
You guys really should actually READ the e-mails you get in response to polls and questions.
Senator Edwards hasn't a clue about how the executive branch works and injected himself into the legislature only to bask in the power pool for a while, hoping the prestige associated with being a member of that august body might help dilute the ooze he drenched himself with as an overpriced ambulance chaser.
Under no circumstances would I ever consider voting for him to any national office in any branch. He is a posturer, a rank opportunist, a hypocrite, and a narcissist. Most of his problems originate in his eagerness to believe his own press releases.
Please remove my name and e-mail address from any rolls or mass-mailing groups. Failure to do so will merely afford me continued opportunities to poke his balloon with sharpened sticks, which I actually find quite satisfyingly cathartic. -

I don't know, but just as I was doing the rollover, I was hoping to see a picture of Rodg and Kim du Toit. They wouldn't even have to do it for the full 4 years, coupla weeks all I'd ask of them. And SondraK as secretary of state, because of late, I'm into sexy SecStates.
