"But there are a lot of products that we eat today that are considered natural that are produced in a similar manner," Genovese said.

"There's yogurt, which is cultured yeast. You have wine production and beer production. These were not produced in laboratories. Society has accepted these products."

Since this guy apparently doesn't grok the differences between combining naturally occuring foodstuffs in a recipe and manufacturing foodstuffs in vitrio, I think why he can't get funding is becoming clear. Not only that, how would he go about manufacturing a corn fed beef ribeye steak? If he can't do something like that, what's the point? - Skyhawker, Doug

Yogurt, beer, wine, salting and pickling are all methods devised to store and extend the life of naturally occurring food stuffs.

And most of the above are definite improvements.

If God did not intend for us to eat cows, then why did He make them out of steaks?

Leave my cow alone!
I prefer my steak just barely no longer mooing!

For your next picture Darla, do a PETA style "I'd rather be naked than eat cooked beef."

Rodger, now THAT could be fun, but it would have to be...
over cooked beef
If it isn't still bleeding on the plate, it is overdone!
