That seems too good to be true. Are you sure this is the U.S. Congress? If it is true, fat chance it'll get through the Senate.

Since it probably won't go through, they needed to make it even better.
If ANYONE in a state can carry concealed ( including cops ), then your permit should be good.
Do you really want that camel to get its nose under the tent? First step on an extremely slippery slope to Congress making all the rules about who can carry, how they can carry, and where they can carry.
As much as I'd like to see universal carry rights I am truely frightened by the thought that the Feds will be setting the rules. Far better we support the move to do away with BAFTEIEIO and all its rulings.
stay safe.

It will pass the House, but not the Senate. Even if it got by the Senate, it would be vetoed by Obama. This will have to wait for the next election. The argument that it interferes with the rights of states to set their own laws, and is a precedent for federal regulation where it doesn't have it now, is a good one. Like the immigration laws in Arizona and Alabama. However, I like this one, and can't wait for the next president to sign it into law.
*yesssssssss*
The amendments were all defeated!
It may not pass this time, but it should.
It's time will come.

So, Rodger, you wanting an old Colt Officer's Model Match in .38 spl as pictured or something a bit more easy to pack and/or higher capacity?
RAK
I like that because I don't have any cowboy guns. :)
We can fix you up!
RAK
Your Highness, you need an Army model 1917 Cold DA revolver. I love mine and it looks like a cowboy gun and shoots a .45acp round.
Tim
Colt, not cold.
Tim
Tim, I had one that I bought at a gun show in California in the good old days for $200. I kick myself regularly for giving it to an ungrateful soul. All men should have one, or a Webley.
Casca
Between the RINOs and the Dems it stands no chance in the Senate. Good practice for 2013, though.
Love that infringe on states right shit from the left. Gun ownership is actually in the Constitution unlike abortion. They lost their credibility with roe v wade.
Ohhh Ohhhh. Come onnnnnnn Santa!
The big Tulsa gun show is up in about three weeks. Don't know 'bout you, Majesty, but may find something for myself
Skidmark: That camel has been sleeping inside the tent since 1934.
Your insistence on perfect vs. good is not helpful.
Wait... I have to seek the permission of those I wish to defend myself from?
That don't make no sense. Not settling for "good enuff" there... Hafta be a damfool...
