Craftsman Tool Chest

woot!

Res Ipsa Loquitor

For those who've seen this tool chest on Deals Woot (it's appeared 3-4 times) and wondered what you get for $79, it's this.  It arrived pretty much assembled, only had to put the wheels on.  I'm damned impressed.  No, it's not close to being as sturdy as Craftsman's pro models, but then you don't have to pay hundreds of dollars.  It is what it is, and I like it.  Hell, if you're food-stamps poor, use this for your TV stand, and store your cables and stuff, and "those" special tapes in the lockable drawers.  *wink wink*.

You're welcome.

A froo-froo designer would call this 'eclectic industrial' and charge premium prices...

The cabinet maybe, but craftsman evolve line of tools are made in china.
Just before Christmas I took a few hundred bucks and bought a bunch of original craftsman. Tools still made in the US.
