Chrome

I can't argue with casca, but what the hell—I just now installed Chrome, and sumbitch! It integrated all my bookmarks, etc., and I feel right at home. Understand that Blogger (through which this blog is published) is owned by Google. I am forced to have a G-mail account, but I NEVER use it for any personal bidness. Anyway, with ot without Chrome, Google know, or have the ability to know, everything about me. So fuggit. I want something that works good, and this does. If they screw with me, I'll post Google's address so they can be harrassed by angry mobs.

Skoonj said...: A few years ago I was running Firefox. I had a problem, and went to the knowledge blog, where instructions were posted. I used those instructions, maybe did it incorrectly, and my Favorites got deleted. I don't know why it happened, but that's the last I used Firefox. Mike C said...: I switched over to Chrome from Firefox when I learned that all the pointy headed geeks at my company had switched over as Firefox had become too bloated and slow for most of them. Only trick was to get all the passwords & crap in there.

It also occasionally won't remember passwords or logins in weird places - like my public library site. Also remember it an adjustment to figure out where to add bookmarks and set homepage. Once I got the hang of that was smooth sailing.; 7/11/13, 4:51 PM
