nom nom nom So, Obama ordered "a half-slab of ribs" at Kansas City's legendary [the sign there actually says "Legiondary"] Arthur Bryant's.  What I want to know is, did he get the long end or the short end? Because anyone who orders a half-slab and doesn't specify long end or short end doesn't know d*ck about ribs. Like, say, somebody who grew up eating dog in Indonesia. By the way, one old story from Arthur Bryant's (where the walls are covered in photos of celebrities who have dined there) is that when Count Basie ate there, he ordered the mutton ribs; and when he went to the Gents, he spat on his ribs, saying, "I don't want nobody messin' with my ribs!" McCain leads Obama by 10 among likely voters

In the new poll, taken Friday through Sunday, McCain leads Obama by 54%-44% among those seen as most likely to vote. The survey of 1,022 adults, including 959 registered voters, has a margin of error of +/— 3 points for both samples. -USA Today It's meaningless, although more meaningful than a poll showing a democrat ahead by 10.  But it's fun to extrapolate.  Add the Bradley factor, and McCain could be ahead by 20. Or, the media are puffing McCain's numbers so a fall to, say +2, looks like a downslide (he had been trailing by 8).  I can feel the Mo.  If the election was held today, I'd bet money on McCain taking 40+ states, including Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
