Teenage Trump supporter receives death threats Rodger, Thought you might be interested in this local CBS affiliate news story highlighting the perils of being a young, black Trump supporter. You featured him a couple of weeks ago in C&S. clack52 ATLANTA (CBS46) - Two weeks following a heated debate with a protestor at a Donald Trump rally in Atlanta, life has drastically changed for 16-year-old Quay Manuel. “I was just thinking I’m going to out-smart him with kindness,” Manuel said. Manuel became an overnight sensation on social media, but not everyone was a fan. He’s received numerous death threats for his support of Trump. “I would say about 7 or 8,” Manuel said. The teenage Trump supporter has been brutally harassed online. “One comment I remember said that we should go clip this n*****, and clip means we’re going to take you out, basically, and it’s absolutely insane,” Manuel said. He’s also been told he was letting every ancestor he had down, he’s been called racial slurs and even bullied at work. “I’ve been referred to as a coon and as an Uncle Tom. Yeah I’ve been referred to as a lot of things, it’s pretty sad,” Manuel said. When asked if the threats make him want to back out of politics, he didn’t hesitate to respond. “I don’t because it actually makes me want to move this campaign forward because that means I’m touching so many people,” Manuel said. While members of the Black Lives Matter movement may not agree with Manuel’s political views, they did say they don’t condone the threats. Last week’s protests and mini-riot that prompted Donald Trump to cancel a rally in Chicago were the latest example of a concerted effort to disrupt candidates’ campaigns. Professor Eugene Volokh wrote... Many states outlaw “disturbing lawful assemblies,” which would include campaign rallies, whether on public property or private. Attempts to shut down an event, for instance by shouting down a speaker, blowing whistles so that the speaker can’t be heard, rushing onto the stage and the like would thus be illegal. This is important both because the police can then arrest the disrupters, and because security guards and ordinary rally attendees could then legally use reasonable, non-deadly force to stop the disruption (more on that later). As Trump edges closer to locking up the Republican nomination, such agitation will likely grow more frequent and more extreme. The questions, then, are what limits hecklers from interrupting campaign events, and does enforcing those limitations work. Legal Restraints on Hecklers Two preliminary matters, though. First, although there is some First Amendment protection for “speech” in the form of physical action, it is inapplicable for this conversation.  Storming the stage is not protected speech; it is likely assault.  If a protester crosses the line and lays hands on a candidate or somebody attending an event, that would be battery, at a minimum. Second, the First Amendment does not grant an absolute right to speak or protest.  There are a variety of limitations depending on the context.  It is ironclad law that reasonable “time, place and manner” limitations on speech are permitted under the Constitution. In my personal view, the time, place and manner exception is beginning to eat up the free speech rule, in part because I believe there is a legitimate and necessary place for spontaneous and/or unusual forms of protest that do not and cannot comply with time/place/manner bureaucracy.  In any event, Constitutional limitations on speech exist. [....] For the campaign, having the police clear protesters signals weakness and can rally support behind the protesters. The rally was doomed regardless, and escaping with minimal consequences was a positive result. The problem, of course, is that Trump didn’t get to speak, and the audience didn’t get to hear him. This is known as the “Heckler’s Veto.”  Protesters are so unruly and the situation so out of control that event organizers or police deem it too dangerous to proceed and shut it down.  The protesters thereby obtain a de facto veto over speech they dislike. This is a practical rule, not a legal rule.  In fact, the law require police to provide speakers at least some amount of protection against a violent crowd before the speaker can legally be silenced for his or her own benefit. {FULL} SOROS ACTIVISTS PLOT 'LARGEST PROTESTS OF CENTURY'... I also watched at least twice as a black person assaulted a white person with a cop watching who did nothing. In this instance the person had a right to defend themselves and the cop should be fired. Chicago is disgraced but it has been for a long time. They talk about Nazis well these so called protesters are the exact duplication of the Brown Shirts. Poor Adric White MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The family of a suspected thief is lashing out after their son was shot during an armed robbery. Relatives of Adric White, 18, believe the Good Samaritan who opened fire should have "just left the store." Just happened upon this 2 month old story. I'm posting it in the Holder's Mustache file because it's representative of the mindset much of the Black community have formed since Obama/Holder took office.  It's a culture of whining entitlement based on the Administrations non-stop rabble rousing and race baiting.  Eric Holder's refusal to  condemn, let alone prosecute Black crime is worn like a bullet proof vest by the Adric Whites and relatives. The station reported that Rabbi Yaacov Behrman said “he believes the assaults are part of a disturbing game by some African-American teens.” The same station, however, reported on the Knockout Game in Hoboken just a few days before without mentioning the central organizing feature of the violence: The race of the perpetrators. In Washington, D.C., the CBS affiliate reported this week that at least two people were recent victims of the Knockout Game. But the station got it wrong on two counts. One was of omission: It did not mention that everyone involved in committing the Knockout Game is ....
