So let's impeach the sumbitch

Obama tears up the Constitution
The scope of his lawless disregard expands by the day

The Constitution of the United States, whose adoption we celebrate every Sept. 17, clearly lists the powers of each branch of the national government. Let’s take a look at what Barack Obama, like any president, is empowered to do and see if it squares with his actions. In Article II, Section 1, he is sworn to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Section 2 names the president as commander in chief of the armed forces, grants him the power to make treaties with the advice and consent of the Senate and to appoint ambassadors, federal judges, Cabinet officials and other federal officers. Section 3 says the president “shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.”

In his two years and nine months in office, President Obama has compiled a spectacular record of noncompliance with the Constitution. Here are just some of the ways his administration has failed to execute the laws while using raw, unauthorized power:

Obama could without question be impeached by the House if the political will existed.  It doesn't for a few reasons, not the least of which is the Democrat controlled Senate would never vote to remove him (nor would half the Republicans).  Which is a shame because Obama deserves being removed from office, the sooner the better.

This list presented by the ass-hat left as justification for impeaching Bush  establishes the bar.

Anyway, I will add this article to my Sack of Stuff (Defining Articles) that are kept in the cellar,  for readers who want to reference it in the future.

BTW, Knight does not present a comprehensive list here, but his are fine, and recent additions to others already presented.

The Reasons

Impeachment would still be a constructive event, since it would cause individual Senators to show their colors to the folks back home, thus self-targeting themselves in future elections. Hell, DiFi is vulnerable, popularity under %50, in California this cycle. There are a thousand small battles to fight in order to win the war.

I always think about Hillary, sitting on the sidelines, waiting to strike. If she decides she wants to be President, and Obama is in the way, she'll pull out the vodoo doll and start placing impeachment pins. It would be her way of clearing the way and making Obama the villain.

Whle the Obama regime thinks they're slick, they're amateurs against the Clintons, and wouldn't have a chance.

I have to agree with Casca to a point. While impeachment would effectively tell the voters about their Senators, impeachment could also be a plus for Obama, aka The Komrade President REMF, in that the black community around the country, along with the MSM, to say loud and long that Congress is impeaching him because he is black. All the other reasons for impeachment would not even be given any sort of mention, only that he is black and therefore the only reason he is being impeached.

That and there is only 13 months until the next election. I don't think it can be accomplished in such a short time. And then we would get Blabbermouth Biden, he with terminal foot-in-mouth disease, as president. Who in their right mind would want that????
