October Surprise

Foreign policy October surprise?

ALISYN CAMEROTA: Is it possible that [Biden's] an asset and not a liability. Is that even possible?

COULTER: It’s an excellent point. I think any distraction from the economy, from the jobless rate, from just the haplessness of this president is probably a good distraction. I think the big distraction to watch out for is going to be probably a foreign policy October surprise, maybe allowing Israel to attack Iran, because I think the president is going to need a Hail Mary pass before the election.

Ann expresses what a lot of us are worried about, that this guy is willing to use the Mayan calender as a hedge, if necessary.  At the same time she annoys the hell out of me with little backhanded jabs at Sarah Palin, like this.

And the other reason I think Biden’s gaffes aren't that damaging to the president is because the media is so playing a part in this campaign. I think this is going to be the worst media bias we’ve seen since the 1992 election. We can bring back those old bumper stickers. It was “Annoy the Media - Vote Bush.” Now it’s “Annoy the Media – Vote Romney.” Because Biden does say all kinds of crazy things. I don’t know if you remember his debate with Sarah Palin, you know, Sarah Palin who they describe as an utter airhead. She didn't say half the crazy things Biden said. I mean, it was misstatement of fact after misstatement of fact, and there was precisely one network that mentioned the misstatements of fact by Joe Biden.

Half the crazy things?  Sarah didn't say anything "crazy," in any appearance, anywhere. There's a girl thing going on with Ann. I know her.

I don't like Ann anymore for various reasons mostly that she's not a Tea Party person but I don't think she's unique in hating the very air Sarah breaths. I'm pretty sure women everywhere with an Adam’s apple and no ass hate Palin with a white hot passion.

Clintons(both) is 100% for Clinton, O'Bammy is 100% for O'Bammy and Annie-get-your-gun is 100% for Annie...some people are like that, all four are highly entertaining, but not to be taken seriously.

Most people here don't like her now because she's not spending all of her columns asking for the birth certificate.

Coulter looks like a tranny next to Palin. That explains the hate.

Coulter has always been a tool. Dunno why it took so long for folks to figure that out?

"Most people here...blah, blah."

Blow me. Most people here understand that the HNIC isn't an American no matter where his bitch dropped him. What "most" of us people here don't like about Ann is her unnatural attraction to the GOP elite (who wouldn't fuck her with your dick) and her constant bashing of Sarah Palin.

"Blow me"

Such a classy guy. I guess not all of us Conservatives can say we finished 3rd grade. Who are these GOP Elite? I've been a Republican since birth and am wondering who you have deemed to be the elite.

Anyone who didn't like Sarah Palin as a VP pick? Most of us wanted an intelligent and articulate speaker for the ideology like Paul Ryan as a VP instead. Is Paul Ryan part of that elite? He's getting rave reviews from everyone almost universally, even Mrs. Palin.

By the way, I once had a comment directed at the "I see the lesbian mafia behind every blade of grass" Wabano after he had attacked me with language a bit tamer than that used by I-RIGHT-I above. It was deleted.

Rodge, I agree with 95% of what you say, but you're going to let the 100% folks have free reign to use language worse than what got a message of mine (a month or two ago) deleted?

If "anonymous" knew how to read, he'd see I never said Annie was
lesbian, only that she was 100% for Annie,
like slicky and 'Bammy...That stung so bad?

At least I dont post under "Anonymous" even if "Blogger"
assigned me this damn nick Wabano I'm stuck with...

I've been recently to your paleo-con sites...
real brainy to blame them djooz for everything,
like the muslims and the KKK do...

The King has upon occasion deemed my comments a bit much and fixed them for me, one way or another.

Thanks Rodge. You know I don't do this on purpose. Right?

Archer I'll betcha a dollar more folks voted for McCain because of Palin than because of McCain.
War record aside, He's a disgusting piece of Closet Dem filth that I despise and have since he was licking Dem. Sen Deconcini's boots...
We had the senate the congress and the pres lined up to drill in ANWAR and McCain voted it down....

I'd sure like to see even a sliver of evidence to support Palin being responsible for so many votes. Please provide it. Just saying it doesn't make it true.

And Wabano; I wasn't referring to this post. I was referring to the post where both Kristopher and I both lampooned you for some random mention of the lesbian mafia in which you sounded quite serious.

And how do you figure that my posting with the name Archer is any less righteous than you posting under Wabano. We're both anonymous. Having a clickable name that shows an avatar for you makes you so much less anonymous and brave? Please, show the bravery you seem to think I'm lacking, and post...I don't know, what do you think would make you brave? Your name? Phone number? Address?

This is the internet dude, we're all anonymous, get over it. Unless your full name is Wabano you're no better off. By the way, what was the Paleocon thing? I don't even know what you're referring to, and am thinking you figured I was someone else. I don't read many other blogs, and I don't know what the KKK or Jews have to do with them.

And I-RIGHT-I: As I've said elsewhere, we'd likely agree on 95% of the issues. I find it pretty disturbing that the litmus test of civility with each other is Sarah Palin and the birth certificate. I don't care if you use that language, that said, I used similar language previously and it wasn't modified, it was deleted.

At any rate, for what it's worth, I wasn't in love with John McCain, and wasn't exactly thrilled that he was the Obama alternative. But I did think he would make a much better President than Oboner.

I don't vote for VPs as they're largely ceremonial and worthless. Sure I'd rather like the Veep selection, but it's not necessary. The whole heartbeat from the Presidency thing hasn't come to fruition often.

Sorry Arch. I get carried away sometimes. 95% works for me but remember, the GOP isn't our friend.

Anonymous: The proper repair for bad free speech is more free speech.

As for deleting comments, this is Rodge's blog, not ours.

Consider yourself lucky if he didn't "improve" your comment.

Wabano: You shouldn't castigate someone for maintaining anonymity.

The unhinged left, if they are in a position of power, will fire your ass for saying things they don't like on the internet, and then smile and lie when called to task for doing so.

I strongly suggest creating an email and alias only for public internet comments ( do not have your real first or last name on it ), and make up a false identity of a hypothetical person who is about your age ( different birthdate ) and lives in a town near you ( different zipcode ), and always use that.

Never ever use that email address with your employer, to buy things, or to talk to any government entity.

Maybe set up a blank blogger and a blank facebook account to go with it, for facebook required comment sections.

Lying to nosy non-government idiots is just smart. Guard your real info jealously.
