U.N. to dump flood of Muslim refugees on U.S.

“ Displaced Syrians will likely make up the next big wave of Muslim refugees coming to America. In February, the State Department moved to ease the rules that protect the U.S. from accepting refugees with potential ties to terrorist organizations. The rules were seen as “too strict” Since the early 1990s, the United Nations high commissioner for refugees has selected more than 200,000 refugees from Islamic countries to be resettled in the United States. Most of them have come from Somalia and Iraq. Syria could soon be added to the mix in the midst of that country’s brutal civil war. The Obama administration has been greasing the skids for the Syrian refugees for months, WND has learned, and the refugees will soon be dumped on American cities throughout the U.S. In February, the State Department moved to ease the rules that protect the U.S. from accepting refugees with potential ties to terrorist organizations. The rules were seen as “too strict” by the refugee-resettlement groups that lobby Congress and the administration to continuously let in more Muslims from the war-torn Middle East. Then on Sept. 4, a U.S. State Department spokeswoman hinted at her daily press briefing that a new wave of refugees will soon be coming from another predominantly Muslim nation – Syria.   [FULL] Now more than ever we can appreciate the prescience displayed in the 1997 HBO  film, "The Second Civil War."  The film's premise is that the Administration's forced relocation of hundreds of thousands Pakistani refugees (India nuked them) to the United States leads to rebellion; first by Montana, and then spreading like wildfire, with state National Guard taking on American military. The film is a brilliant, often hilarious, satire of the media (CNN), the (Clinton) White House, and our open border policy.   If you've seen this film, you can see what's coming as these same situations take life.  I'm agog over how many of the "fantasy" scenarios are now become fact. ”

Teacher group: Math is ‘the domain of old, white men’ “ As recently reported, the site also contains letters from 5th grade students asking text publisher Houghton Mifflin why they did not include in their textbook the fact that Christopher Columbus ‘burned, slayed and hanged’ Native Americans who would not find gold for him. WASHINGTON, D.C. – According to a Teach for America website, culturally responsive teaching in math is important because “math has traditionally been seen as the domain of old, White men.” Judging from the math curriculum recommended, this TFA group, like all other social justice educators, wants minorities to believe that what relates most to their lives in America is racism and oppression. For example, the site recommends “Critically Conscious Mathematics” and “Radical Math.” Radical Math was created by educator Jonathan Osler several years ago while teaching at El Puenta Academy in New Jersey. Osler taught Radical Math along-side Cathy Wilkerson, a former member of the Weather Underground Organization (with Bill Ayers) who once participated in a plot to detonate a nail bomb at a dance for military personnel at Fort Dix. Radical Math provides hundreds of social justice math lessons obviously meant to indoctrinate. For example, lesson titles include “Sweatshop Accounting,” “Racism and Stop and Frisk,” “When Equal Isn’t Fair,” “The Square Root of a Fair Share” and “Home Buying While Brown or Black.” Today, Osler is director of the San Francisco Teacher Residency, a teacher training and job placement program created by the San Francisco Unified School District and Common Core assessment creator and validation committee member, Linda Darling-Hammond. Astonishingly, in proudly promoting ‘cultural competence’ and ‘critical consciousness’ in education, the TFA website’s home page links to a Wikipedia definition of critical consciousness that describes it as a concept developed by Paulo Freire and grounded in post-Marxist critical theory. An order came down from Bronaugh that because of a culture of racism, firefighters had to remove all decals or stickers, including American flags and military stickers, from their city lockers. Showing a picture of a “monkey smoking a cigarette” that had been taped to one locker, he said, “As a fire chief here, I cannot afford nor tolerate [racism].” But several firefighters refused, and ultimately were sent home. Eleanor Holmes Norton said in a statement Wednesday, taking credit for the win in knocking off riders to the continuing resolution which not only included Massie’s funding cut for gun control measures but also one forbidding D.C. from spending money on a legal marijuana program. TWO THINGS: 1) Re: the vote by a Republican controlled House - Do I have to say it?  I thought not. 2) EHN has no more right to a seat in congress than does a Guadalajaran prostitute.  She lives in the District of Columbia, which was expressly denied the right of representation by the United States Constitution.  So, what do Democrats do when the Rule of Law gets in their way?  They make shit up.
