The Splattering - Mullah Style

Iranian Rock Fest
You're invited!
Hey y'all, if you're not busy tomorrow, and are in the vicinity of  Takestan cemetary in Ghazvin province (an easy 100km drive from Tehran), the Iranian government is inviting you to a casting party.  Stone casting.

This Iranian woman was stoned for having sexual relations with a friend's son.

Tehran, 20 June (AKI) - Makrameh Ebrahimi on Thursday will be stoned to death in a square in front of the cemetery of Takestan, in Ghazvin province some 100 km from Tehran, for having had a child out of wedlock 11 years ago, women's rights groups in Iran said. The Islamic Republic denies issuing stoning death sentences and carrying them out. Thursday's is the first death sentence by stoning to be publicly announced and rights groups say the population has been invited to participate and throw stones.

It is reportedly unclear how many stoning sentences have been issued and carried out in Iran since reports of a moratorium by the judiciary emerged in 2002.

The Iranian criminal code states that when stoning is carried out for offences such as adultery the stones should not be too large because "the punishment of stoning is designed to cause the victim great pain before death".

In Iran, the convicted person to be killed is wrapped in a sheet and partly buried. Male convicts are buried from the waist down, while women are buried deeper to prevent the breasts from becoming exposed.

Iran is second in a global ranking of countries with the highest number of executions per year after China.

Say what you will about Iranian mullahs, they are certainly a modest lot, what with making sure her breasts won't be exposed. She would probably be embarrassed to death, thus depriving fun seekers the thrill of the splatter. These Iraqi Muslims,  for instance,  didn't bother with modesty until the teen-aged girl  was pulp.

It will be so easy to press the button on these holy people.

"while women are buried deeper to prevent the breasts from becoming exposed."

Allah forbid that one might gaze open a woman's bare breast.

It might distract one of the faithful from properly bashing her up-side the head with a rock.

I have one of those little rubber/plastic bracelets that says "WWPU2D?" (What Would Pope Urban the Second Do?)

You remember PU2 -- he started the First Crusade and saved Europe from the heathen Moslums.

"While Mr Morales is Hispanic and his attackers were black, police said they don't believe the attack was racially motivated.

"This wasn't a hate crime," Cdr Piatt said. "This wasn't a racist crime. There is absolutely no reason to think race had anything to do with this."

Well, if this wasn't a hate crime I feel a lot better for the guy now.

No equivalence. One is state imposed, the other, not.

Granted. But my chances of driving a car in Texas are a lot higher than getting involved in anything on Iranian territory.

There is no moral equivalence period. Number one the incident in Tezas is a fluk and not a occurance that is tipical and was carried out by a mob. It is being investigated to bring to justice those responsible. The scum in Iran are doing this and it is sanctioned by the Government. To even try to compare the two is irresponsible.

Anon: So you are saying that those of the Negroid persuasion are as barbarous as those the Persian persuasion. Okay, I think I see where you are going w/ this . . . .

Apples and oranges, Mob violence is deplorable state sanctioned atrocities are unspeakable. There is no good or clean way to kill.. But again and again they prove that they are nothing more than animals that have a written and spoken language but have no respect for life at all.
