Attack Media Raising Cain

ONCE YOU GO CONSERVATIVE BLACK, YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR BACK

With the mainstream media giddily reporting on an alleged affair involving Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, how long can it be before they break the news that their 2004 vice presidential candidate conceived a "love child" with his mistress, Rielle Hunter?

The left is trying to destroy Cain with a miasma of hazy accusations leveled by three troubled women. Considered individually, the accusations are utterly unbelievable. They are even less credible taken together. This is how liberals destroy a man, out of nothing.

After the first round of baseless accusations against Cain, an endless stream of pundits rolled out the cliche -- as if it were the height of originality -- "This isn't he said-she said; it's he-said, she-said, she-said, she-said, she–said."

Au contraire: We had two "shes" and only one "said."

Remember? Only two women were willing to give their names. And as soon as they did, we discovered that they were highly suspicious accusers with nothing more than their personal honor to support the allegations. Only one of the two would even say what Cain allegedly did.

The first one was Sharon Bialek ...  Ann Coulter Cont

Politico Gate

Okay, so: Bialek was fired by the NRA in 1997 after working there for six whole months. Then she requested a face-to-face meeting with the president of the organization that had just fired her, to ask about finding a new job. A phone call wouldn't have done it, apparently. And she didn't tell Cain she was there about a job until dinner. And the whole thing wasn't her idea in the first place, but her boyfriend's. And then Cain groped her and told her it was part of the job interview. And she's coming forward almost 15 years later, after a week of non-stop coverage of unspecified accusations by anonymous accusers, on behalf of women everywhere. After Gloria Allred gets her face time, of course. Hm. -

Herman Cain -"Too Black"

Liberal Racism
WHY OUR BLACKS ARE BETTER THAN THEIR BLACKS

In the last year alone, a short list of the things liberals have labeled "racist" include:

-- Being a Republican;

-- Joining the tea party;

-- The word "the" (Donald Trump's statement that he has a "great relationship with the blacks");

-- References to Barack Obama's playing basketball (Trump again);

-- Using Obama's middle name;

-- Scott Brown's pickup truck;

-- Opposing Obamacare;

-- Opposing Obama's stimulus bill;

-- Opposing Obama's jobs bill.

The surge in conservative support for Herman Cain confuses the Democrats' story line, which is that Republicans hate Obama because he's black.

Cain is twice as black as Obama. (Possible Obama campaign slogan: "Too Black!")  [Saint Ann cont]

I particularly like Ann's "To have been accused of sexual harassment in the 1990s is like having been accused of molesting children at preschools in the 1980s or accused of being a witch in Massachusetts in the 1690s. "  Those Day Care prosecutions caused me for the first time to think I'd slipped through a crack and fallen into some Kafkaesque other-world.

Limbo- Filthy F'n Democrats

Limbaugh: Politico Story An "Unconscionable Racially Charged Attack"

Limbaugh compared the rapidly expanding Cain saga to the way media outlets covered the alleged indiscretions of former President Bill Clinton, concluding that the Politico story is a part of a calculated left-wing strategy to marginalize minority conservatives — including Cain and Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio, who was subject of a Washington Post story last week about claims that his parents were Cuban exiles.

Cain Advert ....

What a drag!

Some on Twitter speculated that the video, available on Cain’s official YouTube channel only through an unlisted URL, was a hoax. The two most popular commenters on the video said it was one of the worst political ads they had seen. [DC]

This doesn't come close to being "one of the worst political ads;" nor the "best."   However, when Mark Block took that drag off a cigarette,  the subliminal message I received was "f_ck gummint telling you how to live."  So on the whole I was receptive to the message.

Laffer on Cain .... .

When Art Laffer speaks ...
Cain's Stimulating '9-9-9' Tax Reform
A new sales tax could be raised in the future—but so can any other tax. And the low marginal rates would jump-start the economy.

Gimme chovies

Still, a number of my fellow economists don't like the retail sales component of the 9-9-9 plan. They argue that, once in place, the retail rate could be raised to the moon. They are correct, but what they miss is that any tax could be instituted in the future at a higher rate. If I could figure a way to stop future Congresses from ever raising taxes I'd do it every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Until then, let's not make the perfect the enemy of the good. - Art Laffer

First, and  hearkening back on the earlier discussion about "who are establishment republicans?," George Will, ahem,  recently opined “We’re having a kind of Andy Warhol primary where everybody is leader for 15 minutes and Cain’s turn."  I suspect George Will's first choice is Mitt Romney, but let's not sling mud.

 It just might be that Herman Cain is ascendant because he has a message with substance, oui?  His 999 plan is that in spades (and the obverse of Obama's  666 plan.)   Laffer satisfactorily addressed my concern about the irresoluteness of a national sales tax.  I am now firmly in Cain's camp, and don't hold the 'chovies.

When The Godfather Speaks ...

MR. GREGORY: You think liberals actually seek to do that, that that's their mission, to destroy the economy?

MR. CAIN: I--that's the conclusion that I have drawn.

(Videotape)

MR. CAIN: The objective of the liberals is to destroy this country.

(End videotape)

MR. GREGORY: To destroy this country. How so?

MR. CAIN: Economically. Look at this economy. David, the engine of economic growth is the business sector. We are growing at an anemic 1, 1 1/2 percent. If we allow this economy to continue to go down, it would destroy our economic capability. And, as a result, we are now looking at how much in defense we can cut. That's destroying it. It...

MR. GREGORY: Not mismanagement.

MR. CAIN: No!

MR. GREGORY: But it's their mission.

MR. CAIN: It is their mission.

MSNBC besmirchin' a brother

Herman Cain and some guy

LAWRENCE O’DONNELL, HOST: Question about the Commander-in-Chief role. I misread your book in its references to the Navy, and I thought you served in the Navy. You're now telling me you didn't. Can you explain how you avoided military service during the Vietnam War and during the draft and why you should be Commander-in-Chief if you did successfully avoid military service during the war that came during what would have been your war years, how you, after avoiding the Vietnam War, why should you be Commander-in-Chief?

HERMAN CAIN, REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Lawrence, you know, do you stay up night to come up with the wording in these questions or do you have someone writing them for you?

Here's what happened, Lawrence. I was working in a critical area called exterior ballistics. I worked on something called the rocket-assisted projectile for the Department of the Navy. It was my local board in Atlanta, Georgia, that told me, we would rather for you to continue to do that analytical work to help the Navy rather than us drafting you. Secondly, when they had the lottery, I made myself available. The year that they had the lottery for the draft they did not draft me because they didn't get to my number. So I think that's a poor choice of words on your part, to say that I avoided the Vietnam War. I made myself available to my country, and they did not draft me. The rest of the time I was serving my country in a critical role called exterior ballistics analysis. So I am offended with your choice of words in terms of what I was doing during the Vietnam War.

O’DONNELL: I am offended on behalf of all the veterans of the Vietnam War who joined, Mr. Cain. The veterans who did not wait to be drafted like John Kerry [OMFG!] who joined. They didn't sit there and wait to find out what their draft board was going to do. They had the courage to join and to go and fight that war. What prevented you from joining, and what gives you the feeling that after having made that choice you should be the Commander-in-Chief? [full]

Why does any regular American choose to go on MSNBC?
  1. The networks has statistically speaking no viewers
  2. The viewers they do have are split evenly between—
  • Acne faced knobs and other Moveon.org types
  • Conservative bloggers and journalists rubbernecking the crash site
Oh, there's this:

*****Update: O'Donnell was born November 7, 1951, turning eighteen and becoming eligible for service in Vietnam in 1969. As you might imagine, he never enlisted.

Despite being given a draft lottery number of 72 in 1970, and the military taking numbers up to 125 that year, O'Donnell evaded the draft through a college deferment.

Who is he to point fingers at anyone for their military service, especially someone that worked for the Navy?

*****Update II: I wonder if O'Donnell thinks Vice President Joe Biden is unfit to be Commander-in-Chief given his five deferments.

I have to correct something - " O'Donnell evaded the draft through a college deferment."  No, he avoided the draft using a college deferment, which carries no dishonor whatever.  Bill Clinton on the other hand evaded the draft, a felony crime. On all other counts, O'Donnel is indeed corn encrusted crap.

Michele Bachmann wins first women’s presidential straw poll ...

Michele Bachmann wins first women’s presidential straw poll

Susan Crain Bakos

Rep. Michele Bachmann won the first Women’s Presidential Straw Poll, held at the Smart Girl Summit in St. Louis, Missouri this weekend.

Herman Cain, who spoke at the event, closely trailed Bachmann, finishing in a strong second place.

Texas Governor Rick Perry and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin were not included on the ballot.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Ambassador Jon Huntsman, Gov. Gary Johnson, Congressman Thad McCotter, Congressman Ron Paul, Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Gov. Mitt Romney —  were. [full]

I like this story, and if the election was held today I'd be voting for a Cain-Bachman ticket.  Crain on top, because he's a proven business manager.  If it was Palin-Cain, well— Palin Cain. Anyway, I went browsing for "black on white" art because race is the first thing I think of when it comes to politics.   Seriouisly,  I Googled for ideas for art-chopping, and this New York Press article was the first hit.

A White Woman Explains Why She Prefers Black Men
How many white men can treat a woman like a lady and ravish her
By Susan Crain Bakos

No, it's not what you think.

They look better than white men, they touch and kiss and make love better than white men. Statistically, their penises are only a fraction of an inch bigger on average, but they seem bigger and harder.

There are other reason given -

  • Black men have something white guys don't have anymore: confidence in their masculinity (Tip:  She only dates Liberals.  Count on it)
  • Black men are gentlemen, something else white men no longer are. (Why - you bitch!)
  • With the exception of some Italians, white men don't turn me on anymore. (What was that movie ... Christopher Walken - "Cause you, you're part eggplant?"  Who knew?)
  • On another night in that same bar, a different black man, an artist, knelt and kissed my knees. (My god, I've been on my knees in many a bar.)
  • Black skin is thick and lush, sensuous to the touch, like satin and velvet made flesh.   There's only one patch of skin on a white man's body that remotely compares to nearly every inch of a black man's skin  (I think she's saying Black men feel like a penis.  Or maybe uvula? Very déclassé).

At any rate, this is something Susan Crain Brooks is expert in, while I have no experience at all.  I do think that all of this would be a great idea for Myth Busters to tackle.   Kari?  For science?  By the way, That's not Not Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann in the top picture.
