Oh My ... Eric Holder in the spotlight?

Holder's Mustache

GROAN:

In the words of Dave Barry, “I swear I am not making this up.” According to Vulture, CBS is “ordering a pilot for Main Justice, a show based on the life of former attorney general Eric Holder.”

Really. Would that be the Eric Holder who joined a student occupation of an ROTC facility and mau maued Columbia University into naming the building after Malcom X? Or is the the Eric Holder who advised Bill Clinton to issue the last-minute pardon of big-time Democratic money […]

CBS muckamucks have not a clue about what a "Show About The Life Of Eric Holder" would mean to Eric Holder.  I mean, I'm all for it.  But Holder is a primary target for federal prosecution for ... help me count the crimes .. that he can be charged with, going back to the Clinton years. So, bring it on. [See also the HOLDER FILES.

Holder ...the America of Barack Obama!

Holder's Mustache

Eric Holder blasts ‘orange man’ Trump:
‘We want the America of Barack Obama’

“You don’t do politics when you’re attorney general, but as a private citizen and as a defender of the Obama legacy, I’m free to say what I want and to say it in the way that I’d like to,” Mr. Holder told the website for an “Off Message” podcast titled “Eric Holder Is Tired of Being Polite.”

Felix Holder

Did he say that!? Did he say "You don’t do politics when you’re attorney general?" He said that? I offer a blast from the past. He wasn't in office more than a few hours when he Did Kinston; The Black Panthers; and, well HERE.

Tennessee Sues Government over Immigration

Holder's Mustache

"... and we urge the Attorney General to act without delay ...

Surely not this Attorney General ... ??

Loretta Holder

NASHVILLE, Tennessee–On Tuesday, the Tennessee General Assembly declared it will sue the federal government over its refugee resettlement program on Tenth Amendment grounds.

“The General Assembly clearly understands the importance of public safety and state sovereignty as demonstrated by the overwhelming support of this Resolution for which we are thankful. The Syrian surge heightens our sense of urgency to get this properly before the courts, and we urge the Attorney General to act without delay,” [FULL]
The 1997 film is set in a United States in which foreign immigration has skyrocketed: The mayor of Los Angeles speaks only in Spanish, Rhode Island is populated mostly by Chinese-Americans, and Alabama has a congressman from India. Politics is openly reduced to a matter of catering to various ethnic groups for their votes - the Alabama congressman will only support the president if his state receives more money for Hindu temples. When an atomic weapon is used in Pakistan, an international organization makes plans to bring orphans to Idaho.

Idaho governor Jim Farley (Bridges) orders the state's National Guard to close its borders, as Idaho has already received more than a million refugees; he acknowledges this even though the Governor himself routinely indulges in Mexican food, Mexican soap operas, and an affair with a Mexican-American reporter (Peña). Despite the best efforts of his press secretary Jimmy Cannon (Kevin Dunn), Farley remains largely oblivious to the national crisis he's the center of, since Farley is more concerned with rekindling his romance with his mistress rather than dealing with national matters.

Meanwhile, the President of the United States (Hartman) turns out to be an equally ineffectual leader, ruthlessly exploiting immigration to fill districts and states with those most likely to vote for his own party. He will move more Koreans to New York since Koreans are one of his core constituencies. Reputed as indecisive, the President delegates his decision-making entirely to his advisors, most notably his unofficial chief advisor, lobbyist Jack B. Buchan (Coburn).

Buchan, however, is less concerned with the good of the nation, and more concerned with politics, especially how the President's actions will play on television (resulting, for example, in a 72-hour deadline being shortened to 671⁄2 hours to prevent the news from interrupting Susan Lucci's farewell appearance on the soap opera All My Children). Buchan regularly influences the President's decisions by manipulating his desire to emulate previous U.S. presidents, even going so far as to pepper presidential statements with fictitious "quotes" from President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Meanwhile, the NN cable network is reporting the events and influencing them at the same time. News director Mel (Dan Hedaya) attempts to time events to maximize ratings, while his staff becomes polarized over the political issues involved in the conflict between the Governor and the President. Standard fare for the cable network is to show footage of crying immigrant children, which is done with the Pakistani orphans waiting to move to Idaho.

As the deadline approaches, the Governor and the President call in, respectively, the Idaho National Guard and the United States Army. Tensions rise when the commanders of both units turn out to be bitter rivals from the Gulf War. Meanwhile, governors from other states send in their own National Guard units to aid one side or the other, causing the conflict to escalate into the national arena. Mexican-American pro-immigrant rioters bomb the Alamo, while anti-immigrants retaliate by bombing the Statue of Liberty because of its plaque, stating that "We no longer want your tired, your poor or your huddled masses." [Second Civil War]

Not for the first time am I struck by the prescience shown by the  movie "The Second Civil War."  By comparison with this administration, the buffoons in the film are  genius.  The idea that Obama's DOJ would now secure our borders and observe a sane immigration policy is insane.

An Honest Man? WTFF?

Holder's Mustache

FBI Director Comey, meanwhile, has stirred tensions by linking rising violent crime rates to the Black Lives Matter movement’s focus on police violence and by warning about “gaps” in the screening process for Syrian refugees.

Then there’s the biggest issue of all: the FBI’s investigation into the private email server used by Hillary Clinton, Obama’s former secretary of State and the leading contender to win the Democratic presidential nomination.

A decision by the FBI to charge Clinton or her top aides for mishandling classified information would be a shock to the political system.

In these cases and more, Comey — a Republican who donated in 2012 to Mitt Romney — has proved he is “not attached to the strings of the White House,” said Ron Hosko, the former head of the FBI’s criminal investigative division and a critic of Obama’s law enforcement strategies.

Publicly, administration officials have not betrayed any worry about the Clinton probe. They have also downplayed any differences of opinion on Apple.

But former officials say the FBI’s moves are clearly ruffling feathers within the administration.

Must be a real shock to Obamunistas; this retro approach to duty, honor and country.

Bonfire Vanities-#BlackBrunch

   HELTER SKELTER
Provoking Racial Unrest

BACKGROUND

Civil rights activists targeted Sunday-afternoon restaurantgoers in California and New York to remind them of the black lives lost to police violence across the country.

The event, called “Black Brunch,” began last year in Oakland, Calif., according to Yahoo News, after the tragic police killings of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., and Eric Garner in Staten Island, N.Y.

Yahoo News notes that in New York City, some 30 people gathered around 11 a.m. Sunday to protest inside some popular midtown-Manhattan eateries that demonstrators identified as “white spaces.” At each location, the protesters “read the names of African Americans killed by police,” Yahoo reports.

“Every 28 hours, a black person in America is killed by the police,” the protesters chanted, according to the website. “These are our brothers and sisters. Today and every day, we honor their lives.”

BUT WAIT!

Some sort of tipping point seems to have been reached, with Sunday morning brunch patrons no longer willing to sit passively as noisy protesters attempt to guilt-trip them about being white, or having the disposable income to go out for a nice brunch, or something (in my view, mostly anger about being such losers).  Gateway Pundit reports on the pushback in Atlanta and Minneapolis eateries yesterday. In Atlanta:

Some customers at Sweet Melissa’s reportedly pushed and talked back against the protes “#BlackBrunchATL received a number of threats/shoves at Sweet Melissa’s. “Our breakfast matters” erupted from a table.”

One white man sitting at a table with Black friends was filmed vocally objecting to the protest, repeatedly saying, “You’re stirring up conflict”, and at one point telling the protesters to “go home”.
[And more ...]

It is clear to me that a dedicated coterie of activists is intent on harassing people.  This is stupid and obnoxious, and so self-centered that people express surprise when there is resistance.  This will not end well. [Thomas Lifson Full]

"Every 28 hours, a black person in America is killed by the police ....?"   Thank you, Eric Holder,  for the bonfire.

RACE BAITERS and other Progressives

Holder's Mustache

SANCTIMONY AND GRANDSTANDING ARE MORE FUN THAN FREE SPEECH

[...]

After two separate, wide-ranging, phenomenally expensive, months-long investigations, including one by Eric Holder's Justice Department, it turned out: Brown had attacked Officer Wilson, he did not have his hands up, he was charging the officer when he was shot, and Wilson acted in justifiable self-defense.

Instead of the "brutal assassination" of a black man, Holder's big indictment of white America is that cops in Ferguson give blacks too many traffic tickets.

Even that feeble proof of racism is clearly false. The only two serious studies of driving habits by race ever conducted -- one in New Jersey and one in North Carolina -- found that blacks are far more likely to speed than whites, and at much higher speeds.

Indeed, the entire country is snickering (unless you are addicted to MSNBC - me) at any report that treats as news the fact that blacks are arrested at higher rates than whites, whether in Ferguson, the Upper West Side of Manhattan or anyplace else. Blacks have a higher crime rate than whites, ergo, they have higher arrest rates. Ice skaters have more skating injuries than tennis players.  [...]

AHEM- Ms. Coulter, unfortunately, will not be found on MSNBC, nor The Daily Show, the two primary news sources for the nimrods who buy into this race-baiting. So it will continue.

Holder and Obama, sitting in a tree ...

Obama's Plantation

Attorney General Eric Holder said  at a journalism forum in Washington on Tuesday.

If Fox didn’t talk about this, they’d have nothing else to talk about!”

Radical Islam, Islamic extremism, I’m not sure a lot is gained by saying that, ... It doesn’t have any impact on our military posture, doesn’t have any impact on what we call it, on the policies that we put in place.

“What we have to do is defined not by the terms that we use but by the facts on the ground. So I don’t worry an awful lot about what the appropriate terminology ought to be.”

Appearing irritated, he said: “We spend more time – more time -- talking about what you call it than what do you do about it. You know? I mean really!

“I think people need to actually think about that. Really? We’re having this conversation about words, as opposed to what our actions ought to be?”

“The terminology, it seems to me, has little or no impact on what we ultimately have to do.”

His contention that words have no impact on how the U.S. responds to threats in the Middle East sounds particularly bizarre when one remembers that Holder is trained in a field that demands precise terminology – the law. [FULL]

They are, the two of them, True Believers, and that's that.  There is no chance in Hell that either Holder or Obama will ever overcome their, by now, ingrained, focused,  racialism.  In my forthcoming novel, they never existed.  Just a bad dream that we awake from.  I said novel, alas.

Destroy Operation Choke Point

Holder's Mustache

About a year ago, the Second Amendment community was rocked by news that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) had teamed up with Attorney General Eric (the Hun) Holder to utterly destroy firearms manufacturers and dealers by cutting off all credit and banking relationships with them.

For its part, the FDIC categorized gun and ammunition sales as a "high-risk business," lumping it in with drug dealers, pornographers, and Ponzi scheme operators -- all of which it was working to completely destroy.

So now, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) has introduced legislation to shut the doors of Operation Choke Point.  Rubio's bill, S. 477, would defund Operation Choke Point -- permanently.  It would insure that the FDIC didn't use "fees" to fund a program which could no longer go on with appropriated funds. And it would prohibit the Attorney General and the FDIC from reestablishing "Choke Point" under another name.

Furthermore, Rubio is committed to not just allow his legislation to lie dormant.  He understands that he may have to add the proposal as an amendment to a must-pass bill.  This is exactly what we will need to overcome a potential presidential veto.

So please contact your Senators and urge them to cosponsor S. 477.

Loretta Lynch Holder Jr.

Holder's Mustache

WHISTLEBLOWER: AG NOMINEE IN $1 BILLION OBAMA COVER-UP
Loretta Lynch played role in scandal leading back to White House

OTAY!

NEW YORK – New revelations are emerging that could implicate Loretta Lynch, President Obama’s attorney general nominee, in the world’s largest banking scandal.

HSBC also used its power to temporarily shut down WND.com as the news site was breaking a series of stories on the mega-bank’s money-laundering practices.
As WND reported, Lynch, as the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, oversaw the investigation in 2012 of drug-related international money laundering allegations against London-based HSBC Holdings LLC.

As a result of HSBC agreeing to a settlement requiring the international bank holding company to pay the U.S. government more than $1.2 billion in fines for money laundering, Lynch’s office agreed in return not to press criminal charges against any bank employee of the U.S.-based HSBC subsidiary.

The federal government’s unwillingness to prosecute HSBC was exposed by a former HSBC vice president and relationship manager in New York, John Cruz, who called the bank a “criminal enterprise.” Cruz was ignored by law enforcement authorities until he brought to WND 1,000 pages of customer account records that document his claims.

HSBC also used its power to temporarily shut down WND.com as the news site was breaking a series of stories on the mega-bank’s money-laundering practices.

[...]

Lynch has never explained why the New York U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2012 chose to ignore the 1,000 pages of customer account records Cruz pulled from the HSBC computer system before he was fired by HSBC senior management uninterested in investigating his claim to have discovered illegal money-laundering activity at the bank.

“The official response of the IRS Whistleblower Office doesn’t say there was no fraud or tax evasion committed by HSBC in the money-laundering case,” Cruz explained. “The IRS simply says, ‘In this case, the information you provided did not result in the collection of any proceeds.’”

Cruz began working at HSBC on Jan. 14, 2008, and was terminated for “poor job performance” on Feb. 17, 2010. [Full]

I'm aware that some here discount WND as an unreliable source.  I believe that goes back to their almost single handed coverage of Obama's birth certificate scandal, where they were sandbagged, in my opinion, a few times by false accounts that I believe were put into play by pro-Obamas.  Nevertheless, WND is the closest thing this nation has to novelist Émile Zola who, alone among France's media, went after the truth in the Dreyfus affair. WND is a national treasure.

We're about to be Lynched

Holder's Mustache

President Obama’s Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch was a charter member of an all-black Harvard sorority — and so was Eric Holder’s wife.

Lynch will face the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday in her first confirmation hearing in her bid to succeed Holder as the nation’s leading law enforcement official.

But can Lynch as an investigator really be objective when it comes to her predecessor, who is currently in contempt of Congress over Fast and Furious scandal document obstruction and would probably warrant investigation from an unbiased successor? After all, Lynch goes way back with Holder’s wife. [etc]

"... can Lynch as an investigator really be objective when it comes to her predecessor..." Get real. In this theater of the absurd  administration?

Liberals Threaten to Assassinate Walker

Liberal Thug Nation

Liberals Threaten to Assassinate Walker After Victory;

 “You Dead, B**ch”

Liberals called for and threatened to assassinate Scott Walker after his reelection this night in Wisconsin. The threats ranged from specific death threats to wishing death on the governor.
Here are just a few.
You dead:”
Threats to Walker
I pray:”
Threats to Walker2
I’ve been wishing death upon Scott Walker:”
Threats to Walker3
And a few more threats, and a few suicidal liberals:

MEANWHILE ...
Holder sends poll watchers to 18 states

The Department of Justice plans to send federal monitors to 18 states to watch for discrimination against voters.

Monitors will head to Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

“One of the Justice Department’s most sacred responsibilities is ensuring access to the ballot box for every eligible American,” Attorney General Eric Holder said in a video message on the department’s website.

“I want the American people to know that the Justice Department will stand vigilant — working in a fair and nonpartisan manner to ensure that every voter can cast his or her ballot free of intimidation, discrimination or obstruction,” he said.

Valerie Jarrett Helped Manager Eric Holder's Perjury

Holder's Mustache

Bombshell: Valerie Jarrett Helped Manage Fallout Over Eric Holder's Changing Fast and Furious Testimony to Congress

[...] Practically lost in the 1,000-plus pages of records is an index that shows Jarrett was brought in to manage the fact that Holder lied to Congress after the story about the disastrous gun-running operation broke in the media.

The files received by JW include three electronic mails between Holder and Jarrett and one from former U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke to Jarrett. The e-mails with Holder are all from October 4, 2011, a significant date because, on the evening of October 3rd, Sharyl Attkisson (then at CBS news) released documents showing that Holder had been sent a briefing paper on Operation Fast and Furious on June 5, 2010. The paper was from the director of the National Drug Intelligence Center, Michael Walther.

This directly contradicted Holder’s May 3, 2011 testimony to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, during which he stated that he, “probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” The October 4, 2011 date may also be significant because it came shortly after the August 30, 2011 resignation of U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke and reassignment of acting ATF director Kenneth Melson to the position of “senior forensics advisor” at DOJ.

The description of one of the e-mails, written from Jarrett to Holder, reads, “re: personnel issues.” Another, also from Jarrett, reads, “outlining and discussing preferred course of action for future responses in light of recent development in congressional investigation.” Unfortunately, the index is vague and that’s all the information we have about them. Nevertheless, given the timing and subject of these e-mails, it seems clear that Jarrett quickly became a key player in the Fast and Furious cover-up in the immediate aftermath of the revelation that Holder had lied to Congress.

Despite evidence showing Attorney General Eric Holder lied about when he became aware of Operation Fast and Furious and about the extent of his involvement with the initiation of the program, he has maintained that the testimony he gave under oath to Congress was "truthful and accurate." As a reminder of the timeline of Holder's inconsistent testimony: [Oh, there's more ...]

A Reminder:

On February 21, 1975, (Nixon's A.G) John Mitchell was found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury and sentenced to two and a half to eight years in prison for his role in the Watergate break-in and cover-up ...

Soros, Holder, Obama, Satan ...

Holder's Mustache

Unrepentant and unrelenting.

Those are the only words to describe the Obama Administration’s policy of targeting those who they view as political enemies.

The latest shoe to drop involves the Justice Department. Documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reveal that the DOJ engaged in a coordinated effort with the far-left Soros goon squad, Media Matters, to target then-Daily Caller reporter Matt Boyle.

What was Boyle’s sin?

He was pursuing a story on whether elected officials were inclined to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for stonewalling Congress on the “investigation” into the Obama Administration’s botched Operation Fast and Furious sale of guns to Mexican drug cartels.  In a boomerang that only the most naïve could not have anticipated, criminals then misused those guns to murder U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

Imagine that, a reporter in Washington, D.C. actually working a story and contacting congressional offices to determine their reaction to it?

Apparently to Holder and his Soros-minded cronies at Media Matters this type of activity could not be tolerated.

Sound familiar? [It should ....]

To put this in perspective, let's examine stuff that used to threaten the political careers of presidents and vice presidents.

Bobby Baker was a wheeler-dealer friend if LBJ, and appointed to Senate Secretary to the Majority Leader.  In September 1963, an investigation was begun by the Republican-led Senate Rules Committee into Baker's business and political activities. Baker was investigated for allegations of bribery using money allocated by congress and arranging sexual favors, in exchange for votes and government contracts. Criticized increasingly, Baker resigned as Secretary of the Senate on October 7, 1963.

Although Lyndon Johnson was not involved in Baker's business dealings after 1960, the Senate investigation looked into their questionable financial activities in the 1950s. This was such a problem for Johnson that there were rumors he would be dropped from the 1964 presidential ticket.[11] After word of the assassination of John F. Kennedy reached Washington on November 22, 1963, the Senate investigation was delayed. Thereafter, any investigation of Lyndon Johnson as part of the Baker investigation was dropped. wiki

This was non-stop news on both television and in print, which is why I even remember it.  'Nuff said.  By the by, did we mention that Soros donated $500,000 to the prosecution that gained Rick Perry's bullshit. indctment?
