Barney and Eugenics

There are some good points made between the Barny Frank and Eugenics videos.  Yes, the lady gave Bawney an excuse to avoid answering her, but no such admonition was ever delivered by Fwank against Code Pinkers, and others who disrupted forums and hearings while waving Bush-Hitler signs.  So her real mistake was not recognizing the left's rank hypocrisy in these matters.

VA - True Story

Ex-soldiers don't need to be
told they're a burden to society.

I just now received this timely e-mail.
Hey I'm at work but saw your post about 'end of life' counseling at the VA and had to share something that happened STG just yesterday.  My dad ( 72) uses the VA hospital in  ________ for his healthcare and for the most part has received excellent care for the last several years.  He was scheduled for a laser prostate surgery yesterday morning.  When he got there - they didn't have him on the schedule ( typical government efficiency) so he re-rescheduled.  The doctor also said he was going to put him on another medicine and sent it to the pharmacy.  Later in the day my dad goes to pick it up and STG it was an anti-depressant!  Now my dad is the last person in the world to ever need anti-depressants (spoken as someone who has taken them for years).  I tried to figure out why an antidepressant would be prescribed for prostate trouble - and checked with a med professional last night about it.  He said it made no sense from a medical standpoint.

Now I just read your post and can't help but think that there was an ulterior motive in getting my dad labeled with a 'diagnosis' of depression.  What do you think?

Ever greater numbers of Americans are disconnecting their home telephones, with momentous consequences

The Economist sees these problems arising ...
It will make life increasingly difficult for telecoms firms, naturally. But it will also hurt all business that require landlines, as bills rise and business models are disrupted. No less seriously, the withering fixed-line network threatens the work of the emergency services, such as the police and fire brigade.

The danger, says Mr Moffett, is that regulators will introduce new taxes on wireless and broadband services. Revenues from new services would then be used to keep an obsolete infrastructure alive—a recipe for lower growth. At that point, he says, the “wireline problem” really will be everyone’s problem.
Worry wart that I am, my thoughts center on how many satellites the ChiComs have to destroy in order to shut down all digital communication?  And will a gummint run by San Francisco hippies fund a national defense effort to protect them [Duh]?  I mean, what the hell.  If the Obamunists would scrap what I think is the single most important, and promising  defensive program the nation had, nothing is safe.  Like I said, buy crossbows while you can.  They're a bitch to make.

Enough with traitors like Eric Massa

Eric Massa should be tried and executed

I'm not calling for his punishment because he associates with known enemies of the United States, as he does here at  Nutroot Nation.  Nope, Eric Massa is apparently sure that Rep. Charles Grassley is a traitor.  Guilty of treason for dissing Obamacare.  That leaves Massa with no real option but to file charges against Grassley in the House of Representatives.  [The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason]. By not filing charges against a traitor, Massa, unlike Grassley,  actually meets a constitutional requirement of treason: "giving them Aid and Comfort."   Am I right?  I demand Massa be arrested, tried and if found guilty, executed. It's what Massa would want.

Zillow Invasion

Speaking of privacy issues ...

Here's something not many of you know about.  Zillow.com marries Google maps with current real estate prices for, well, everyone as far as I can  determine  This is Barry's Chicago residence, the one he purchased with sweetheart financing in return for political favors.  Ahem.  The prices shown represent the last sell price, or appraisal.  In many cases you can select the street view and travel around the hood.  I'm about to drive over to Farrakhan's house, just down the street, and burn a cross on his lawn.  I think he'll laugh at my boyish impetuosity.   If the home sold recently, you can often tour it, which makes it so much easier to  find the master bedroom in the dark, in case you don't live there *wink-wink*.    I know you're anxious to go find your childhood home, so I'll let you go.   No fair looking in my underwear drawer.

Skanks and Privacy

Hey Liskula
You look like a skank to me

Corsi does Obama's birth

'm red with embarrassment
And you damned well ought to be if you've succumbed to the Alinskyite ridicule, abandoned all common sense, and accepted the Obama agit-prop line that "the birth controversy is settled."

Nobody has done more original investigation into the "citizen" question than Jerome Corsi (The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality).  One of the best weapons Obamunists have is total control of entertainment media (televised news).  By excluding dissenting voices, and Corsi is verboten on the subject of Obama, in an age where people don't read, it's pretty easy to splash RULE 5 tar.

I give you then, the first 15 minutes of a 2 hour Rollye James interview with Corsi that covers every aspect of the controversy, without the need to put on reading glasses.
I intend to edit the full show, which will reduce it in length to maybe an hour, but in the meanwhile, if this creates in you an immediate appetite for knowledge, you can listen to the full 2 hours here.  Download it, and skip through commercials.

Nobody (call your office Ann Coulter) who listens can have any lingering doubt that this poseur from Kenya has much to hide.  If you don't investigate, your skin will burn, and you won't sleep well. And -- you'll be tagged an "anti-birther," which is the same as "Obama-cultist."

Economic Ruin?

Yes, I took my Prozac

I listened to Rollye James ("Direct from the edge of the lunatic fringe') last night.  Her guests were  Alan Watt  & Andre Eggelletion (you can listen to both segments now, or download and save before they're replaced by tonight's show).

Watt is an expert in Fabian Society politics, so his views are necessarily conspiratorialist (I am not using the word pejoratively) in nature.  It is an invigorating discussion.

Eggelton's deal is the Fed and the world economy.  I find him far too accommodating of the left, and prone to gobbledygookery, so what I preserved is primarily driven by Rollye. whose breadth of knowledge astounds me. The Egglletion segment, 9 minutes of which I distilled here, left me with a clarity about the  hopelessness of our situation.  Bad, because hopeless means sleepless.  Good, because there is (or can be) advantage in being forewarned. The only (long-shot) hope we have of saving any semblance of this great nation, it seems to me, involves
  • reasserting the Monroe Doctrine, which will almost certainly lead to a war with China ) before they're ready for it).
  • removing every regulatory, or other impediment to financial growth.  LAISSEZ FAIRE - in caps.
  • removing every illegal alien like it was a sporting event.
  • limiting centralized gummint's role to, basically, military defense.  To state militias (the Guard) falls the job of dealing with riots.
  • using tariffs as the principal source of Federal revenue
  • and while we're at it - smashing any and every surveillance device we come across.
In other words, pretend it's 1800 again. I don't see a chance of that happening.  Food and housing riots are prolly less than two years away.  Plan accordingly.  I'm going to reread When TSHTF.  Tell the people you love that you love them, now.

UPDATE - I really don't agree with this guy about much of anything, now that I relisten.  But, my solutions are still viable.  Kill Commies, Downsize gummint, and Drill for Oil.  Shit.  All that work recapped in 7 words.

NET NEUTRALITY
"If we can't get everything we want out of health care reform and climate change, then we will have to take what we can and hope that we can get 'net neutrality' legislation passed. - Nutroots Nation conference

I think the storm done gathered.

Yes, net neutrality. While the health care debate and fight over cap and trade and stimulus spending have garnered the bulk of the American public's attention, some conservatives believe the Obama administration and Democrats' attempts to regulate the Internet deserves equal attention, given the grave threat they represent to free speech and conservatives' ability to organize and mobilize politically.

During the last day the House was in session before leaving for its August recess, Rep. Ed Markey's staff introduced HR 3458, the so-called "Internet Freedom Preservation Act," which would essentially enable government control of the Internet, treating the networks as a government-managed utility. (For more information about "net neutrality," read this interview that one of the key "net neutrality" supporters gave to a Canadian socialist publication.) The Markey legislation is considered the last piece of what some conservatives consider to be Democrat and progressive attempts to control the Internet and limit citizens' ability to use the networks to organize and oppose their agenda.

The bill was introduced the same week it was revealed that the Obama Commerce Department was demanding from the phone and cable companies highly detailed data about private citizens' Internet and broadband connections as part of plans of "map" broadband networks across the country.

It was also revealed the White House had put in place a plan to collect email addresses of citizens who opposed the administration's health reform proposal, and then last week we learned that the Obama administration had negotiated deals with companies like Google and YouTube to collect and provide citizens' personal data, such as ... please continue "Nothing But Net Neutrality" .
This is what it was like in December 1941.  The Japs bombed Pearl Harbor, invaded the Philippines, seized Guam, invaded Burma, sank American merchant ships, invaded Hong Kong, Germany declares war on us  ... .  JFC! Will  the slimy bastids ever stop coming?  These Obamunists are no different.  Maniacal hordes led by prick zealots whose mission in life is to destroy and dominate the United States.  It's not enough that God and Superman hate their guts, we have to do this ourselves. Again.
