Challenging the Silverback

Moderate Wisconsin Republicans
Offer Compromise

The proposal, written by Sen. Dale Schultz and first floated in the Republican caucus early last week, calls for most collective bargaining rights of public employee unions to be eliminated – per Mr. Walker's bill – but then reinstated in 2013, said Mr. Schultzs's chief of staff Todd Allbaugh. - A typical fence straddling liberal pos..
Let's hear no more talk about voting for moderates because they're not democrats. They're worse.  Democrats at least have principles (even if they are the devil's own).  Moderates are confused unprincipled popinjays.

(Right) German soldiers who dressed as American MPs during the Battle of the Bulge are prepared for execution, as spies.  They objected, claiming to be nothing more than "moderate Americans."

Misogynistic? print ads.

The 9 most disturbingly
misogynistic old print ads

Tampax Fish Line

"I'm like a fish in water"

I don't know about misogynistic, but yes to obtuse. But, this is after all a Tampax ad targeting French women, so maybe they know something.  Or,  maybe the American agency sent copy that read "Je ne peux pas attraper des poissons sans appât," and that made no sense to them, so they just changed it, but are scratching their own heads still. It would make a dandy ad for  Summer's Eve, wee?

Until daddy's medicine wears off , boys and girls, today will be spent celebrating the good things in life.  Like  this.  The GOP-led House voted to block funding to implement the nation's health care law. Specifically -
Meditating Pup
  1. voted to prohibit any funds be used by the Internal Revenue Service to carry out the law's mandate that Americans buy health insurance.
  2. baned the Labor and Health and Human Services Departments from spending any money for the rest of fiscal year 2011 on the health care law.
  3. banned the government from paying the salaries of any federal employee involved in implementing the health care law. [proof]
PLUS-
  1. passed an amendment Thursday that would bar the Federal Communications Commission from using any funding to implement the network-neutrality order it approved in December.[proof]
The attempt to block funding is part of a must-pass spending bill to keep the government running past March 4.  Obama has threatened to veto this budget.  Government will shut down.  In the past (1995), Bill Clinton cut a back-room deal with the federal employee union (AFSCME) guaranteeing workers would publicly blame, and heap scorn upon Newt's House Republicans, and not him.  Of course the media were there to capture all the sob stories about missed opportunities to snow-mobile in Yellowstone and see the Air-Space museum.  Big Government nicely explains what to expect.  This will be so fun - if our guys play it right.  Boehnor doesn't have the mettle, but Teapartiers seem to be holding sway, so far.

  1. The Polaroid daddy will find when he comes home from his girlfriend's house.
  2. Guess what daddy sells all day?  Yes he does.  Yes- he-eee  does.
  3. Ransom was paid pic for kidnapper's scrapbook.
