Tapper Bitch-Slaps Obamunists

CNN’s Tapper chides Obama

“CNN’s Jake Tapper warned President Obama’s former campaign manager and other members of his administration that they appeared politically tone deaf in their mockery of Donald Trump.

Blunt exchanges involving Mr. Tapper, Mr. Plouffe, former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau, and former National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor followed. *Glee*

14th century joke

A Dirty Joke from the 14th Century
(for Juice)
The joke comes to us from Jean de Conde of Hainaut, born 1275:

A game of truth-telling is being played at court by a Queen and her retinue. A knight is asked by the Queen if he has fathered any children; he is forced to admit that he has not.

The Queen nods in assent, saying "you do not have the look of a man who could please his mistress when you hold her naked in your arms. For your beard is little more than the kind of fuzz that ladies have in certain places, and it is easy to tell from the state of the hay whether the pitchfork is any good."

On his turn, the knight asks "Lady, answer me without deceit. Is there hair between your legs?" When she replies, "none at all", he comments, "Indeed I do believe you, for grass does not grow on a well-beaten path."

Washington Post blog site joins the WP conga line

Democrat Media Monkeys

The reporter for the Washington Post’s blog, The Plum Line, is described by the news outlet thusly:

“Greg Sargent writes The Plum Line blog, a reported opinion blog with a liberal slant – what you might call ‘opinionated reporting’ from the left. He joined the Post in early 2009, after stints at Talking Points Memo, New York Magazine and the New York Observer.”

So, Sargent is identified as the go-to-guy that enables the DNC to “help control the narrative on the front end.” He delivers the mail for the Party.
Wikileaks revealed, within the 74 emails where Sargent’s name in mentioned in Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails, that the substance of Sargent’s “opinionated” columns comes not from his keen analysis of political events, nor is it rooted solely in his liberal, political philosophy.  Instead, his particular slant leans heavily on DNC input where support for the Clinton candidacy is, and has been from the start of this election cycle, firmly established.

In short, Sargent is a DNC-Clinton shill on the payroll of the Washington Post. [Full, with examples]

In addition to coordinating his blog columns with DNC communicators, Sargent is a conduit for DNC talking points that travel through him to rank-and-file Washington Post (WaPo) reporters.
Most of us have known for what seems like forever that the Left media are shills for the Democratic Party. Now we have the Mona Lisa example, framed in gilt. What difference will it make?  None.  People who might benefit from this knowledge will never read, nor hear about it in their social media cocoons.

You Look Mahvelous

An elderly widower walks into an upscale cocktail lounge. A dapper gentleman in his mid-eighties, he’s very well-dressed, hair well-groomed, great looking suit, flower in his lapel, and scented lightly with an expensive cologne.

Seated at the bar is a classy looking lady in her mid-seventies.

The sharp old gent slips onto the bar stool beside her, orders a drink, and takes a sip.  He slowly turns to the lady and says: "So, tell me . . . do I come here often?"

Koch Spritz

Election 2016

...
The Koch brothers speak with their words, which can’t be trusted, but they also speak with their money, their investments, which are always honest expressions of their actual beliefs and desires. This time, the Kochs spoke with their money, just a day after that Senator spoke with his words. [....]

Unlike John Kasich, who had refused even to attend the Convention at all, or Ted Cruz, who did attend but refused to say anything at all in favor of Trump, Johnson was now actually campaigning for Trump against Hillary.

The next day, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel bannered "Koch brothers pull ad buy backing Ron Johnson”, and reported that, "A day after U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin spoke at the Republican National Convention, a group affiliated with the conservative Koch brothers pulled more than $2 million in ad time in the Badger State.”

The Rove-led billionaires’ faction are also strongly inclined to prefer Hillary, but can’t afford to alienate the Republican electorate, and so they will continue to support other Republicans but not Trump. (Consequently, Ron Johnson, for example, still can get their money.)
In other words: immediately after one of their owned Senators campaigned for Trump, they cut off his main monetary lifeline.

This is a warning to any other Republican who might still be considering to campaign for Trump; it says, loud and clear: If you do that, you lose us.

The Koch-led contingent of Republican billionaires and centi-millionaires is one of two Republican financial-backer contingents. The other is led by Karl Rove.

“(On Thursday, a spokesman for the Koch-funded political arm Freedom Partners sought to clarify their position, indicating it was unlikely the Kochs would support Clinton. Her “big-government” policies, the spokesman said, were out-of-step with their goals. (Politico)

So, the Koch Bros hate Trump.  Yesterday Trump said he "Will Fund Revenge PACs To Destroy Cruz, Kasich."  It  appears then that what we have here are  battles of titans playing Monopoly; a gaggle of politicians protecting their sinecures; and media protecting their future influence with allied MOC.  Fkm.

MEDIA JOB #1

Media Job #1
Protect Hillary from #DNCLeak fallout

The Wikileaks release of hacked Democratic National Committee emails threatens to set the Democratic National Convention on fire this week.

Whether the leaks prove the election was fixed is one thing; that it is perceived that way is beyond doubt. Already Debbie Wasserman Schultz has resigned as DNC Chair.

Not enough.

Bernie supporters are furious, and are demanding he withdraw his endorsement of Hillary. That’s highly unlikely to happen, which will shut close a possible relief valve.

The left wing of the left wing of the Democratic Party is ready to bust a gasket, and go full #NeverHillary and mean it. It will only take a few percent of Democrats to stay home or run to Green Party candidate Jill Stein for Hillary to be damaged in the general election.

The media cannot let that happen. So expect several narratives to permeate the convention coverage.

The first and easiest narrative of the DNC leak will be that Hillary had nothing to do with the anti-Bernie shenanigans, she didn’t know about it, and she can’t be blamed. But that will not be enough.

So the media will have to portray Hillary as the real victim of the DNC leak, just like she’s the victim of her home server scandal and every other scandal that has tainted her career.  “Hillary as victim” is a time tested remedy which has worked so many times in the past. [FULL In-sur-rec-tion]

In other words, buisness as _ _ _ _ _ .
