They just can't not do it.

MoSup gets to choose our dinner hour TV, as long as it's TIVO'd so we don't watch commercials, and is devoid of politics. Oprah was kicked off the menu last year after selling her black soul, with our bodies, to Obama.  Since then it's been a mish-mash.  Decorator Candice Olson is a favorite, along with a variety of garden shows, etc, that I put up with.  Lately the Sup's been enamored with Cash Cab, which I like okay.  I guess since it's a Manhattan cab the contestants ride in, this was inevitable.  Tonight, in a single half-hour, contestants were asked these questions.

Who called Rush Limbaugh a Big Fat Liar in his book by the same name? (missed)
What conservative talk show host admitted to being hooked on the drug OxyContin? (answered correctly)

How transparent can you be?  The writers are obviously punching their ticket with the Democrat Media Complex.  I'm an unforgiving consumer, however, so that show is off the schedule. Forever.  Not that losing me matters I guess.  At age 92 I'm way outside the desirable age demographic, and I TIVO over commercials.  But I believe in the 5% rule.  Anything that pisses me off will piss off at least 5% of everyone else.  That's how I ruined so many Hollywood careers, and sent profits down the drain.

Stealing Freedom

Inside that donk majority ...

This story is unfolding in upstate New York and it does involve a group of people submitting absentee ballots for some real citizens. Citizens who did not vote or were denied their right to vote based on an absentee ballot already being on record for them. [Voter Fraud In Upstate New York ]

Should Cheaters Be Suspended?

We know for certain that the current Democrat super majority was fraudulently achieved, because we know for certain that Al Franken was not elected Senator from Minnesota.  Not really.  My gut feeling is that at least 10 percent of house democrats, and  6-7 donk senators  were  fraudulently elected.  That's bad enough, but this is worse.  I no longer have faith in the United States election process, and I'm not alone.  My feeling is that those who steal office are stealing our hard won freedoms.  The penalty should be death. That goes for those who abet the crime. Dead serious.

1500 pages WTF

1500 Obamacare pages in 70 Words
 Snuff the fkr granny

Kill that fkr granny - Kill! Kill!

My, my.  The 1000 page  Obamacare bill is now the 1500 page Obamacare bill.   One of the key elements, it seems, is to place a 40% tax on all private insurance to make them "less attractive" (unaffordable).  Once passed, the same gambit will be used to rid America of other Liberal annoyances.  Like a $5/per bullet tax.  That's how they think.  But back to that Obamacare page inflation, and what it heralds. (70 Words)

Washington has just run a $1.4 trillion budget deficit for fiscal 2009, even as we are told a new health-care entitlement will reduce red ink by $81 billion over 10 years. To believe that fantastic claim, you have to ignore everything we know about Washington and the history of government health-care programs. For the record, we decided to take a look at how previous federal forecasts matched what later happened. It isn't pretty.

Let's start with the claim that a more pervasive federal role will restrain costs and thus make health care more affordable. We know that over the past four decades precisely the opposite has occurred. Prior to the creation of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965, health-care inflation ran slightly faster than overall inflation. In the years since, medical inflation has climbed 2.3 times faster than cost increases elsewhere in the economy. Much of this reflects advances in technology and expensive treatments, but the contrast does contradict the claim of government as a benign cost saver.

[1healthcosts]

Next let's examine the record of Congressional forecasters in predicting costs. Start with Medicaid, the joint state-federal program for the poor. The House Ways and Means Committee estimated that its first-year costs would be $238 million. Instead it hit more than $1 billion, and costs have kept climbing.

Thanks in part to expansions promoted by California's Henry Waxman, a principal author of the current House bill, Medicaid now costs 37 times more than it did when it was launched—after adjusting for inflation. Its current cost is $251 billion, up 24.7% or $50 billion in fiscal 2009 alone, and that's before the health-care bill covers millions of new beneficiaries. (and there's more here)

See what I'm saying.  My 70 word memo became 334 words in a twinkling.  It's what gummint does.  But, what do patriots do with out of control gummints?  That's right, they get rid of them the quickest  way possible.  That's a debate worth having.  I think it's hanging.

Short List Summary of
Government Failures

To President Obama and all 541 voting members of Congress:   It is now official-- you are ALL corrupt morons.

 Rick Beckham sent this ...
The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775; you have had 234 years to get it right, and it's broke.  There are others....

Social Security was established in 1935; you have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938; you have had 71 years to get it right, and it's broke.

The War on Poverty started in 1964-- you had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor," and they only want more!

Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965; you've had 44 years to get it right-- and yes, they are almost broke.

Freddie Mac was established in 1970; you've had 39 years to get it right, and it's broke.

The  Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil, it has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year...  but today we import more oil than ever before!  You had 32 years to get it right but sadly it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every 'government service' you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars... And You Want Americans To Believe You  Can  Be Trusted With a Government-Run Health Care System??

Are you crazy, or do you just believe all Americans are imbeciles?

BIDEN: SPECTER KEPT DEPRESSION AT BAY: VP Biden addressed the Allegheny County Democratic Party dinner Monday night, where he credited now-Democratic Senator Arlen Specter for helping keep the nation out of a depression with his work for the stimulus package.

“It’s amazing how much we’ve forgotten just how far we were in the tank just nine months ago,” Biden said, according to the pool report. “Without Arlen having convinced two of his Republican colleagues to change their vote and vote for the stimulus package, we would probably be in a depression. Now, that counts for something."

These MF's depress me to the very brink ...

Here's yer public option
How do you respond to these people?

  1. ABC Uses Obama's '9-Month Anniversary' to Tout Popularity Over Republicans
Anchor Charles Gibson announced “the President has a 57 percent approval rating, his rating rising for the first time since April. And only 20 percent of the country now consider themselves Republican.
-- 57 percent support the Obama plan's most contentious element - the public option.

  1. FOX NEWS - Support for Democrats' Health Care Reform Falls to 42 Percent, Poll Shows
A Rasmussen survey released Monday shows 54 percent is opposed to the plans backed by President Obama and Democrats in Congress.

The White House is calling on other news organizations to isolate and alienate Fox News as it sends out top advisers to rail against the cable channel as a Republican Party mouthpiece.

Jumper girl

Allison Stokke
Today's Greatest Athlete Who Ever Lived Since ...  Since Nobody!

Here’s Allison Stokke, a young, pretty athlete girl whose picture got on the internet while she was preparing to compete in the pole vault during a high school track meet. Then, it didn’t take long for her photo to be picked up and to travel through the World Wide Web.  It wasn’t done on purpose but now she’s quite popular and she said that she didn’t want to be known only for her looks but also for her performances.

And  she is a very good athlete indeed. Allison held seven national records; she set a school freshman record at the Pac-10 Championships;  was also qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships and in the outdoor season her jump was the second-best performance in school history.

I say she has nothing to worry about. She’s really good looking and a successful athlete. Go girl! :)  If she goes to the Olympics she'll be a sensation. [Individual pictures here]

Rahm disease and cure

EARLIEST KNOW RAHM

Yesterday, in light of Rahm Emanuel’s comments on delaying the decision on troops for Afghanistan, I asked: “Are Sunday talk show declarations by Emanuel and political advisor [sic] David Axelrod an appropriate way to announce the considered judgment of the president at this stage of a long Cabinet-level review process? Or is Emanuel end-running the process? Do Secretaries Gates and Clinton agree with Emanuel? Were they consulted before Rahm popped off?”

I’ve now been told by an authoritative source close to Defense Secretary Robert Gates that he had no advance warning that Emanuel would be saying any such thing.

Update: A former government official e-mails:

Sen. McCain and other supporters of the effort in Afghanistan have feared from the beginning of this process that Whie [sic] House politicos were trying to get the pesky military out of the policy loop. Now it appears they are bypassing even the SecDef ... [Bill Kristol cont]
Odd that this would come to my attention just as I begin chapter 23 [The president's chief of staff - based on Rahm - somehow falls into a wood chipper at Gretchen's  Oktoberfest wine tasting] of my upcoming novel, "Mr. Jefferson Travels  Back to Washington.".  I think I'll give him anal cancer before the great tragedy.

She also took a process-oriented shot at Obama, writing: "In January 2008, presidential candidate Obama promised not to negotiate behind closed doors with health care lobbyists," Palin wrote.

“God, what have I done?”  From Hot Air (via Badanov)

I have a good friend that I work with who was a two time Bush supporter who said he bacame really upset with Republicans becasue of the shape of the economy. He voted for obama and has spent most of the deployment defending obama by claiming Bush was worse.

Finally, after 74 days of indecision on General McChyrstals troop request and the days wasted in Copenhagen and the dressing down the CinC did in Air Force 1, he finally said, “God, what have I done?”

For him, it took being affected in his daily operations here and seeing our ground folks that we work with getting killed. But people are getting it. People are starting to see.

Sgt. Chris Rudzinski, RIP

For the Rudzinski Family

Last night SondraK received a call from a  GMA producer wanting permission to use the photo of Chris Rudzinski his dad sent while announcing his death in Afghanistan.  A segment on Chris, whom GMA had been with just a while ago, was scheduled for this morning. With that heads-up I had the TIVO set.  Here is that GMA segment.

Red Obama

With allies like Democrats ...
One of the first things Bill Clinton did as president was transfer oversight of America's supersecret encryption and satellite technologies to Ron Brown's Commerce Dept.  Brown wound up dead in a plane crash, with a .40 cal size hole in his head, but that's a different non-story.  Commerce  became a playground for John Huang, who made regular phone and fax calls to China, and to the PLA's  Lippo Group partner.  Democrats would later argue that "the calls may have been personal."  I'm not making this up.  As a result, Red China went from having a third world rocket technology program, to one that allowed Gen. Xiong, then second in command of the People's Liberation Army, to in 1996  threaten to "vaporize  Los Angeles.

Sales to China of technology by Space Systems/Loral and Hughes Electronics were key, and resulted in the 1999 Defense Authorization Act.  A key provision required that the president notify Congress whether a transfer of missile and space technology to China would harm the U.S. space-launch industry or help China's missile programs.  Why am I talking about this?   Because Obama just overturned it, sending oversight back to Commerce.  Why?  Because Obama wants China to continue underwriting the huge debt he's piling up is my guess.

As an aside (I can't help myself), the Senate hearings into this scandal were bollixed-up when John Glenn, in return for help in retiring huge campaign debt, demanded the hearings focus on Campaign-Finance reform, instead of treason. John Glenn will prolly burn in Hell (9th circle) for that betrayal.

What if Ken Burns produced
a Michael Moore movie?

I've been going through my old program backups, and found lots of interesting stuff.  Bookmarks from 2003-2004 were particularly interesting, like a link to this video that I'd all but forgotten forgotten.  Fahrenheit 1861 - part 1 (there is no part2 )
