Stuff That's Righteous - James Wood

More an homage to Wood than anything else.  Durbin has been an A-Hole for so long that he no longer has any real audience.

Waiting for Jack Bauer

Democratic Bill Lays the Groundwork to Remove Trump From OfficeDemocratic Bill Lays the Groundwork to Remove Trump From Office

Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, which allows the vice president to remove the president if he or she has the consent of the majority of the Cabinet or "such other body as Congress," if they believe he cannot "discharge the powers and duties of the office."
Over a year later, David Palmer is now the President. He is alerted to the threat of a nuclear bomb detonating in the U.S. He also is informed that Bauer, now an inactive agent, has contacts with people who could lead them to the bomb. Jack ignored calls from CTU, but responded to the call from President Palmer.

Jack became an active agent again, eventually finding the bomb and detonating it in a remote area. Palmer orders attacks on the three nations responsible, as revealed by an audio known as the Cyprus Recording. Palmer then reverses course, stating that he believes the recordings to be fake, as advised by Jack, but Mike Novick, his Chief of Staff, and the Vice President, Jim Prescott deem this sudden reluctance to attack as an incapability to hold the office. Earlier in the day however, Sherry warned him that there were people in his administration planning to overthrow his presidency. Prescott gathers the Cabinet members, and by one vote, David Palmer is removed from office under the provisions of the 25th Amendment. He sits in a room as a prisoner for the rest of the day, until Jack provides CTU with the evidence that the Cyprus Recording is a forgery, and the attacks are called off by Prescott.

Palmer is reinstated as President, and although Prescott and the Cabinet members who voted against Palmer offer to resign, he does not accept their resignations. Palmer does, however, immediately relieve Mike Novick of his post as Chief of Staff. Palmer then goes out to make a statement to the press, deeming that the threat is over. He shakes hands with many of the onlookers, one of whom happens to be Mandy, a woman hired in Day 1 to assassinate Palmer. She slips a deadly virus into his hand, and he collapses to the ground, panting.[3]

Rep. Jamie Raskin (a male at birth) is another Maryland douchbag Donk; young enough to never have  known other than the corrupt Maryland political machine that prevails.  He will certainly  have this stupid gambit shoved back up the ass that shat it.  Still, he  has punched his ticket in the Dem caucus, which is all he cares about to begin with.

Anyway, every article I've read about this contains the "little known 25th Amendment" phrase.  I dun't thing so Lucy.  Folks who watched the wildly popular series "24" will likely (as did I) remember when President David Palmer fell victim to just this.  They will also remember that the pols involved were very bad people who they wanted Jack Bauer to kill..  I think Rep. Jamie Raskin fits right in.

Dinesh D’Souza Prosecutor Accused Of Failing To Enforce Anti-Discrimination Court Order

The Obama donor prosecuting conservative writer Dinesh D’Souza is being accused of “fostering disrespect for the rule of law” for allegedly failing to enforce a housing desegregation ruling.

Preet Bharara, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, is an Obama donor and prospective Attorney General in a Hillary Clinton administration. But his career ambitions might face some opposition from the left. (RELATED: What You Need to Know About The Obama DonorProsecuting Dinesh D’Souza)

Tom Ammiano
San Francisco Assemblyman Tom Ammiano has been pushing a bill through the Legislature
which has the potential of turning all schools into beta test sites for social experiments.

AB 1266 would require a student to be permitted to use the male or female bathrooms and locker rooms in public schools, based on the student’s gender self-identification.

Lawmakers who support this bill claim they are protecting civil rights by creating laws for transgender persons.
[I am not making this up]

You know what I thought of while reading this?  A movie I recently started to watch, Shooter, about a sniper.  That's right.  I quit watching the movie because I  cannot watch Danny Glover anymore than I can stomach the legion of  Tom Ammianos in this country.  Click-click.  Someone, please, make the case that people like this ought not be dropped into a volcano.

Truth be known, we lost the war on terror the minute Bush created the Kafkaesque "Department of Homeland Security" (Abteilung Innere Sicherheit).  Or. was it the very second the first traffic cam was installed?  Or was it that moment when  Virgina Cassidy Blythe Clinton Kelly decided to go ahead and have the kid?  Or when Rose Kennedy failed to have her tubes tied before marriage? OBAMUNISM, The Party,
Outrage Winners of the Week Past

Obamunists produce several outrageous acts  against God and Country every week.  These are my two winners from last week.  Either would have cause Norman Rockwell's America (although unthinkable) to retch bile and produce calls for immediate terminations of a different sort.

PULL OUT OF CHICAGO?

Should the U.S. pull out of Chicago?

Res Ipsa Loquitor

The political leadership in Illinois - all Democrats.

Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago. Of course, they’re all blaming each other.

Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.

Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

State pension fund $78 Billion in debt, worst in country.

Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country.

Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois.

(continued)

cuzzin ricky sent me a later version of this (of which there are dozens, if not millions), but I wanted to find out who first developed this fine oughta-be  meme.  As near as I can tell it was Black Quill & Ink blog, operated by Milton Reid, retired  corporate executive, attorney and business owner. Might warrant a bookmark.

It is beyond comprehension that the imperious Nancy Pelosi  --  during her short-lived 4-year dictatorial rule of the House  --  would have allowed an open amendment process, especially one which would have hurt her San Francisco congressional district.  However, even some Democrats, whose leaders treated their opposition with absolute disrespect during the 111th Congress, gave credit to the Republicans for conducting an open-amendment process.

"Anybody who's ever dealt with me knows not to mess with me."- Nancy Pelosi

Thursday, on National Public Radio's website, Frank James reported that "Rep. George Miller (D-CA), a long-time ally of fellow Californian, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, likes the way the House is operating under Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), at least when it comes to how the debate over another stop-gap spending bill is being considered. Boehner has let the debate over the continuing resolution to fund government spending past March 4 occur under a so-called open rule that gives House members the chance to offer amendments.  Unbelievebly, Grayson, one of the most toxic Democrats in the nation (and that's saying a way  lot) seems to be winning in his race to get his House seat back.  If you see on election night then that he lost, the Democrats will be losing EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE!

Jim Moran: "Why I had no idea the kid thought that way!"

Today's Major Big Deal
Virginia's most Liberal Democrat's Son & Vote Fraud

-

The field director for Virginia Democratic Rep. Jim Moran - his son

"He'll need bills," says Moran. "He'll need something with the name and their address on it." He adds, "they can fake a utility bill with ease, you know?"

Patrick Moran - has resigned after being secretly recorded seemingly advising an conservative journalist masquerading as a supporter that utility bills could be used to aid in voter fraud.

"Patrick is well liked and was a well-respected member of the campaign team. This incident, however, was clearly an error in judgment," said a statement from Moran for Congress. "The campaign has accepted Patrick's resignation, effective immediately."

In a press release, O'Keefe called the video "the most damning evidence to date of the scope of voter fraud in this country." Many states have passed laws in recent years, largely pushed by Republicans, designed to reduce voter fraud. Democrats note that there have been very few documented cases of voter fraud and say the laws are designed to suppress the vote among groups that traditionally support Democrats.

Jim "Republicans believe ... that people who have wealth are entitled to keep it"  Moran is today's archetypal Democrat. James O'Keefe is the closest thing to an investigative journalist left in the country.  A proper one-man "Sixty-Minutes"  There you have it.

Convicted Felon Bill Clinton

In a clear violation of the Camp David Accords, Egypt's new Islamofascist government is moving heavy weapons into the Sinai Desert, another worrying sign for Israelis already concerned with Iran's growing nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities.

So.

Which is more important: some guy in Missouri saying something idiotic or the Syrian conflict spreading to neighboring countries?

Just wondering.

And isn't it just a bit hypocritical that a convicted, impeached pervert -- who actually admitted to molesting an intern and was accused of rape or molestation by Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey and Juanita Brodderick (to name but a few) -- is an honoree and keynote speaker at the Democrat National Convention?  [Doug Ross cont]

Say Amen. That Todd Akin's clumsy answer to a question has captured 100% of the media attention shows just how desperate they are for anything - ANYTHING - to draw attention away from Obama's bizarre behavior and crushing poll numbers. But then,  America are at war with them. so it is to be expected.

Gee - Syria has chemical WMDs. Go figure.

'Flagrantly Dishonest'

Underscoring once again that Democrats are not fit to lead.  Not because they're terminally stupid, or ignorant— although there is too much of that.  No, they are  unfit to lead because they have time and time again turned their backs to the truth, and to the national interest for rank  political gain.

In 2003 virtually every Democrat stated a belief that Saddam had WMDs.  Then of a sudden, in a choreographed dance that would make the Rockettes envious, they changed. Like in a heart-beat. Began sneering at the administration's effort to gain support to invade Iraq in order to disarm that mad man..

Because they were careless with a memo— not that we needed it— we know to a certainty why the sudden shift.  Beating Bush in 2004.  A warmongering cowboy out for revenge would be easier pickings than a Dwight Eisenhower.  They undermined the president, our troops, and our country. Again.

Not fit to lead then, because they are scurrilous, treasonous scum.

Out of the darkness

TECHNO CHILLS

A Great Adventure (*cough)

Rotting AF1

Without further explanation I lost everything computer I've done for the past year.  Passwords.  E-mail. What's galling is that I did everything right, but Microsoft failed.   So yeah, it sucks, but I'll look at it like doing another crossword puzzle (I did a dozen during the dark).  A new adventure, akin to parachuting into occupied California—  with no suitcase nukes.

Here's a random experience from the dark time..  For the first time in ages I listed to C-Span radio on my short wave.  WTF  happened to that once fine service.  Every time I tuned in there was some democrat  blabbing on as though not a person in the world would call in and spank them with facts.  I guess, because none did.  Not once.  Oh, there were callers, but all more radical then the guest, and that's something when you consider the two that drove me the most insane were some Jersey Rep. named Rob Andrews??, and then Henry Waxman. I had to leave.

Here's my quandary.  I believe acts committed in the heart and mind carry the metaphysical weight of being actually committed.  I am then a mass murderer several times over this weekend.  I found comfort in sending Stalin-like numbers straight to hell.  I'm hoping that by confessing here,  I will get some credit for contrition on the Big Day.  Like, I meant it in the good way.

Walker in a walker - unless ....

Police State Culture

Yes, Police State
n.
A state in which the government exercises rigid and repressive controls over the social, economic, and political life of the people, especially by means of a politicized Dept. of Justice and Executive.

Res Ipsa Loquitur

  • Officials from President Obama's Justice Department, headed by Attorney General Eric Holder, are in Wisconsin today "monitoring" polling places for any discrimination or civil rights violations. Just as Eric Holder held up the rights of white voters after they were intimidated outside of a Philadelphia polling place in 2008 by New Black Panthers....oh wait, that didn't happen.  [Vote Monitoring: Justice Department in Wisconsin Today]

  • After months of being missing in action with support for Democrat Tom Barrett who is running against Republican Scott Walker today for governor in Wisconsin, President Obama finally threw his support behind Barrett... on Twitter. President Obama and the DNC have received heavy criticism for their absence during what big labor, Obama's biggest supporter, sees as a crucial election in Wisconsin and for the general future of unions. [Obama Finally Jumps in Wisconsin Race]

Res Ipsa Loquitur

Attorney General Eric Holder recently told a group of black clergymen that the right to vote was being threatened by people who are seeking to block access to the ballot box by blacks and other minorities.

This is truly world-class chutzpah, by an Attorney General who stopped attorneys in his own Department of Justice from completing the prosecution of black thugs who stationed themselves outside a Philadelphia voting site to harass and intimidate white voters.

This may have seemed like a small episode to some at the time, but it was only the proverbial tip of the iceberg. The U.S. Attorney who was prosecuting that case -- J. Christian Adams -- resigned from the Department of Justice in protest, and wrote a book about a whole array of similar race-based decisions on voting rights by Eric Holder and his subordinates at the Department of Justice.

The book is titled "Injustice: Exposing the Racial Agenda of the Obama Justice Department." It names names, dates and places around the country where the Department of Justice stopped its own attorneys from pursuing cases of voter fraud and intimidation, when it was blacks who were accused of these crimes.

I could post this under , Black Racists or Filthy Democrats.    I picked Police State Culture because that's what this administration is moving us toward. Rapidly.

Polling across the board shows Walker easily beating Barrett today, handing the Democrat Party a huge defeat.  Huge.  Let's see if they can pull off another Al Franken. They're sure trying.

Sherrod Brown and other Commies

GOP money floods battlegrounds, threatens Dems' hold on Senate

Third-party groups allied with the Republican Party have vastly outspent Democratic incumbents and their backers in Senate battlegrounds.

The disparity in advertising firepower threatens Democratic control of the Senate and could have an impact on the presidential race as well.

Sen. Sherrod Brown, a first-term Democrat from Ohio, has been the primary target of outside groups, which have outspent his allies by a ratio of 10-1 this election cycle.

Res Ipsa Loquitur

Sherrod Brown, Commie
I believe this is accurate.  Obama has refused to share any of his billions with the DNCC, and they're hurting.  But The HILL is  notoriously sympathetic to Democrats.  I'll guess this is published at the behest of Harry Reid for insertion into campaign donation mailings.  Scare the progressive tribe into forking over.  Like a friend of my wife who yesterday was scandalized because she heard Dan Bongino criticize Ben Cardin.  The nerve!

Ginsburg shows her ass

            —    you berk.  you filthy f'n berk

A filthy f'n berk

In a move that should come as a surprise to nobody, a Democrat appointee to the Supreme Court has dissed the United States Constitution,  Overseas  To the Obama installed Muslim Brotherhood government of Egypt. Here, from SLATE

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has disturbed the balance of the universe by giving an interview to Egyptian television in which she does not recommend using the U.S. Constitution as a model for post-Mubarak happiness. The whole video is here, and some transcripts are at the link, but this part is the hackle-raiser.

Q: Would your honor's advice be to get a part or other countries' constitutions as a model, or should we develop our own draft?

A: You should certainly be aided by all the constitution-writing that has gone one since the end of World War II. I would not look to the US constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the constitution of South Africa. That was a deliberate attempt to have a fundamental instrument of government that embraced basic human rights, had an independent judiciary. It really is, I think, a great piece of work that was done. Much more recent than the U.S. Constitution: Canada has a Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It dates from 1982. You would almost certainly look at the European Convention on Human Rights. Yes, why not take advantage of what there is elsewhere in the world? I'm a very strong believer in listening and learning from others.
