But the New York Post did, reporting: “The way the game is played, one of a number of young blacks decides to show that he can knock down some stranger on the streets, preferably with one punch, as they pass by. Often, some other member of the group records the event so that a video of that ‘achievement’ is put on the Internet to be celebrated.” The violence, caught on video, was so egregious even the CBS affiliate in New York had trouble ignoring it. The station reported that Rabbi Yaacov Behrman said “he believes the assaults are part of a disturbing game by some African-American teens.” The same station, however, reported on the Knockout Game in Hoboken just a few days before without mentioning the central organizing feature of the violence: The race of the perpetrators. In Washington, D.C., the CBS affiliate reported this week that at least two people were recent victims of the Knockout Game. But the station got it wrong on two counts. One was of omission: It did not mention that everyone involved in committing the Knockout Game is .... U.S. and Afghan officials reportedly have reached a tentative agreement on a critical security pact -- which would include President Obama writing a letter to the Afghan people acknowledging mistakes during the "war on terror." According to Reuters, an Afghan spokesman said Tuesday that Obama agreed to write the letter, to be presented with the draft security pact at a meeting of tribal elders later this week. The New York Times, citing a spokesman for Afghan President Hamid Karzai, reported that Secretary of State John Kerry proposed the letter in a conversation with Karzai. Karzai asked that Obama sign it, and Kerry reportedly agreed. The letter apparently helped them reach a tentative deal authorizing U.S. raids on Afghan homes in certain circumstances, which had been an area of disagreement. I cannot believe that, with this cat is out of the bag, Obama and Kerry will be up to facing the criticism that will surely follow.  Not with his administration hanging by a thread. Unplugged At least once a week I see a picture of a girl with a massively long tongue, posted by guys who caption it something like "my new girlfriend," or "every man's dream."   Huh?  I can see how a lesbian would appreciate that "package;" or a girl over a man with that tongue; but men?  I'd be afraid that she might get  carried away and block my wind pipe.  I mean, there's no finding a Heimlich maneuver in the back seat of a car.  At least the roll-over girl has gone to the trouble of training hers.  The mind boggles  there.  *shudder*

Must Eat Brains              LAWLESSNESS In case you haven't seen it, here's a kinda disturbing clip.  New Mexico State cop stops a car for speeding, 70 in a 55, and tells the driver to turn off the engine while he goes back to his cruiser for the routine wants and warrants thing. She hauls ass, so he goes after her and pulls her over again.  She's not particularly interested in getting a ticket and gives the guy some lip and then gets back in to drive off again. My guess is she had something to hide, but the fat cop who shoots at the vehicle with kids in it was either uninformed about the situation or just plain stupid.  A car full of kids would have sooner or later stopped somewhere or run out of gas.  Deadly force probably not called for here. I saw a discussion some time back on cutting down on speeders by equipping cop cars and toll booths with devices to shut down engines on targeted vehicles.  That'd work if it weren't cost prohibitive.  Every car would have to have a computer code built in with an ID linked to license plate so that when the proper authority hits the "kill" switch, it doesn't turn off all the cars in the area. One of the guys on the panel said it would add very little cost to the initial price of the vehicle, but it would cost millions to install in the police cars and other locations, plus it would require constant updating and be subject to human error in entering or deleting data. I've been worrying about pondering this  Oprah post [ Noel Sheppard ] from yesterday OPRAH: Many Americans disrespect Obama because he's African American... Racists Have to Die for Racism to End... Specifically,  the Racists Have to Die part.  Now that I've read it in context, it may not be quite what it appears to be—on the surface. GOMPERTZ: Are you saying problem solved? WINFREY: As long as there are people who still, there’s a whole generation – I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, community in the south - there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die. “Cuccinelli called Hispanic people rats,” said Mary Alba, 74, a retired bakery worker. Liberals are famous for finding "code words" that evidence racism, and despite her couching this in "South Africa apartheid;"   "there are still generations of people (in the South), older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die,"  is, I'd say, code.  The magic word  is generations.  "There are still generations of people ...." That clearly implies more than just the old whites, but their spawn for "generations." And whether that was intentional, or not, doesn't matter in this climate.  In Oprah's world, anyone who is not aboard the Obama race wagon is racist. The undereducated class in the black community have clearly been played by the Obama Administration, and are seething, and they are militant.  They are put into action by code words. You'd think Obama was the first president to ever have challenges and confrontations. Was Gompertz on another planet when George W. Bush was regularly being attacked by his opponents? With the race card nicely placed on the tee, Winfrey predictably hit it a long way: WINFREY: Has it ever crossed my mind? It’s crossed my mind probably as many times as it’s crossed your mind. Probably it’s crossed my mind more times than it’s crossed your mind. Just the level of disrespect. When the Senator yelled out, “You’re a liar.” Remember that? Yeah, I think that there is a level of disrespect for the office that occurs, and that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African-American. What Winfrey conveniently ignores is that she endorsed and campaigned for Obama BECAUSE he was an African-American. He wouldn't have gotten her support or been elected if he wasn't. More importantly, if he was just some white guy from Chicago that nobody had ever heard of, he never would have beaten Hillary Clinton in 2008. Confirmed.  Oprah is not undereducated, and she is not stupid.  She knows perfectly well what she's about. Her support for Obama in 2008 was pivotal to his election, and it continues into its darkest corners. She is as much a part of the Obama Deception as anyone. .

Saw a link in a comment this morning about Alec Baldwin.  Guy said Baldwin is "threatening to leave show business."  "Threatening"???   Doesn't a threat strongly imply some sort of imminent loss, some kind of ominous danger?  Doesn't a threat include peril and an attempt to coerce behavior?  Hell, a threat is a kind of blackmail, facrissake.  I mean, what WOULD I do if the Great Alec Baldwin abandoned the entertainment business?  Quelle domage!  Je suis desolee. Of course, on the other hand, I don't watch many movies, and last time I looked there were gazillions of them to choose from without Baldwin in 'em.  So, basically . . . mangez le merde, Alec.  And if you get a minute, chinga te.  As a matter of  fact, cago en su carrera cine. Anyway, I clicked on the site and read it.  He's blaming just about everybody for the fact that paparazzi follow his ass around because he friggin reacts and comes up with explosive behavior, like punching photographers and calling people sluts and homos and so on.  Actually I think he's just hurt, pissed off, actually, 'cause his MSNBC show got cancelled after its ratings plummeted like an Abrams rolling out the back of a C-130 from 10,000 feet with no chute.
