Poseur challenged again

"... we would be stuck with Joe Biden whose only redeeming attribute is that he is probably not a communist."

If recalled, he would be "unable to follow any orders given by a constitutionally unqualified commander in chief, since by doing so I would be subject to charges of aiding and abetting fraud and committing acts of treason," he wrote.

"What I really want is the truth; is Obama a natural born citizen of the United States. If not a natural born citizen, America has been defrauded and then we would be stuck with Joe Biden whose only redeeming attribute is that he is probably not a communist." - Maj. Gen. Carroll D. Childers, Ret.

Don't underestimate the significance of this; I'll assure you Obama Central is not.  Aside from turning up the heat on the lawsuits questioning his legitimacy, it confirms, I think,  that in the event of armed rebellion against the the forces of evil, we can depend on at least some support from the military, which will be crucial.. As we speak, I expect the Obama camp is formulating ways to purge the General staff of all but the most loyal. Not loyal Americans; loyal Obamanites.  With G_od's help, things won't go that far, and Obama will be forced out of office, and voters will cleanse congress. I'm glad this is getting out in the open.  How long before Eric Holder starts arresting people?

The Formula That Killed Wall Street

Smoke
Gaussian copula formula
Felix Salmon's  Recipe for Disaster: The Formula That Killed Wall Street takes a complex subject and seems to make it understandable.  The problem I'm having is with his conclusion: that David X Li's  Guassian copula formula's use by the financial markets killed your 401(k) .
I'll use his analogy to illustrate my problem with his position, that oversimplifying the
correlation parameter skewed the risk assessment process.  Did I get that right?  Close enough?  Okay.
To understand the mathematics of correlation better, consider something simple, like a kid in an elementary school: Let's call her Alice. The probability that her parents will get divorced this year is about 5 percent, the risk of her getting head lice is about 5 percent, the chance of her seeing a teacher slip on a banana peel is about 5 percent, and the likelihood of her winning the class spelling bee is about 5 percent. If investors were trading securities based on the chances of those things happening only to Alice, they would all trade at more or less the same price.  But, the boy sitting next to Alice has head lice, and his mother hides the fact to spare him a shunning.  The school's principal is soon assessed of the now school-wide epidemic of head lice by the school nurse.  He  pays her to keep quiet about it so parents won't be upset.
Are you scratching your head?  Wait.  Change "head lice" to "worthless Fannie Mae mortgages." School nurse becomes Congressional Democrats like Chris Dodd, Barack Obama, and Barney Frank. "Principal" of course is Fannie Mae's board, made rich by selling air. It wasn't until everyone in the city had head lice that the problem so rudely manifested itself.  No compound formula was needed to rate risk assessment by that time.  It's 100%.

What am I missing?  Must be something, because these guys are PhDs.

Impeach Obama with Extreme Prejudice

THE MONSTER'S BALL

I propose that we have a virtual dictatorship over us that, in little over a month in power, has:

  • expanded the role of the federal government, and put it in "such a dominant position that its power can never be rolled back."¹
  • announced an intention to impose a gun ban on all semi-automatic weapons, which effectively means all guns.
  • imposed, and funded, Hillary Health Care without debate.
  • created "czars" who usurp  oversight powers of congress
  • announced a redistribution of wealth package worthy of  Lenin.
Have I missed anything?  You bet.  Since it's against the law to call for the violent overthrow of this monster Obama, we can only do what we've done.  Pray that a meteorite will strike the White House, and Capitol Hill, transforming the area into the future Lake Reagan, and forcing a new start, from scratch, and within the framework of the original Constitution.

A friend shared this vision with me; one that comports with my own.  Which explains my sudden nihilistic view of life.
... there is going to be an awful lot of damage done in the next few years, it's gonna be bad.  Things here in the United States of America are going to go from bad to worse.  Right now, I view that as a good thing because if it gets bad enough, we might be able to turn things around at the mid-term elections, but if we don't or can't due to voter fraud, it will be too late and it will take a revolution to take this country back from the socialists before they succumb to islam.  and still, we may lose.

The endtimers believe we will lose, at least for a while, and will need G-d himself to intervene.

I can see a future where terror will land here on our shores and Americans start going boom in the streets and malls, and I can see a future were obama will use those attacks to take our freedom from us to protect us from the terrorists, first by curtailing our ability to travel about the country freely, and then curtailing travel from rural areas into the cities, finally isolating us from one another.  And I can see obama then cutting off our communications with each other and blaming it on sabotaged by terrorists, and then the round-ups of citizens can begin quietly and go unreported and unknown by the population until its their turn to disappear or become enslaved.

Yes.  I can see that future, and it scares the shit out of me.
I'm skipping my Prozac.  I don't shoot any better without it, but I do shoot quicker.

Arlo's head on a plate?

Re: Political Cross-dresser Arlo Sphincter
Every day brings a ray of sunshine, if you'll only look for it.

Pennsylvania Republican Committee Chairman Robert Gleason Jr. said in an interview today that the state party may not support Sen. Arlen Specter in the Republican primary next year -- a day after his national counterpart suggested that GOP supporters of the economic stimulus bill could take a hit in upcoming elections.

Specter's vote for the economic stimulus bill ruffled GOP feathers throughout the country, but particularly in Pennsylvania, where the lawmaker has always stood on shaky ground with conservatives. He eked out a challenge from former Rep. Pat Toomey in a primary in 2004.

Talking to Pimples
At the heart of our discontent is knowing that the perception of truth has largely supplanted truth in this Republic. Knowing this has led to a serious case of political erectile dysfunction.  I mean, why even try any more?  You know there ain't gonna be no penetration. Doug Ross, for instance, offers a lovely graph that documents - for the umpteenth time - the myth of  Clinton's golden touch. It's well worth reading his timeline, and -- just maybe -- there's a Liberal canker-blossom, or two, in your orbit who'll have an epiphany when you copy them.

Here's another truth that I, and thousands of others have previously posted.  It's one of the many smoking gun references to how Clinton and the Democrats went about destroying the nation's financial underpinnings.  Here's the full file (courtesy of Cuzzin Ricky).  Keep this in your holster too, although it's obvious to me at this point that only blue steel and cordite are of any use against this bunch.

Burglar Caught Dirty

WHY WE WIN
"Kwitcher whining and dust, damn you."
Couple make burglar clean their home at gunpoint

“My husband Adrian caught the thief red-handed in our home. And what is even crazier, the man even had my husband’s hat sitting right on his head,” Mrs. McKinnon said.

Mr. McKinnon held suspect Tajuan Bullock at gunpoint and made him sit down until he decided what to do.

“We made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of my drawers and cabinets onto the floor,” Mrs. McKinnon said.

When the police arrived the work-shy burglar had the cheek to complain to them - about having to clean up his mess at gunpoint.

“This man had the nerve to raise sand about us making him clean up the mess he made in my house,” said Mrs McKinnon.

But the police officer laughed at Bullock when he complained and told him that anybody else would have shot him dead.

Joy.

Cal Ripkin President

Ann Preens

The Cal Ripkin President
Are we going to have to hear about this for the next four years? Obama is becoming the Cal Ripken Jr. of presidents, making history every time he suits up for a game. Recently, Obama also became the first African-American president to order a ham sandwich late at night from the White House kitchen! That's going to get old pretty quick.

But as long as the nation is obsessed with historic milestones, is no one going to remark on what a great country it is where a mentally retarded woman can become speaker of the House?

Obama spent more than twice as much time in his historic speech genuflecting to the teachers unions than talking about terrorism, Iraq or Afghanistan. So it was historic only in the sense that Obama is the first African-American president, but was the same old Democratic claptrap in every other respect.

When I viewed this video (below) of Rahm Emmanuel's address to Brady Gun Nuts awhile back, I found it cryptically disturbing. Hence the bookmark. I heard Emmanuel promising that, once elected, Democrats would make sure that terrorists on the "no fly" list would no longer be allowed to own guns, despite what the NRA wants.  Well, duh.  WTF was he talking about?  Since when did the NRA lobby to put guns in the hands of Gitmo eligibles?  That's what democrats do.

Cloaked in all the gobbledygook, seemingly, was the promise to legislate an expeditious way of placing gun owners on that no fly list, which Ipso Facto puts them in immediate violation.   Given the audacity our current crop of Democrat overseers has shown, nothing would surprise me.  I'm not saying this is it, but it made me revisit the video.  "Domestic violence" is as wispy and pliable a concept as "hate speech."

Army Officer questions Obama's authority

Another crack in the dam
A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.

"As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States," wrote Scott Easterling in a "to-whom-it-may-concern" letter.

OBAMA WATCH CENTRAL
Needless to say there will never be a Gen. Scott Easterling, but there could be a Rep. Easterling one day.  For now, his mini-mutiny serves a good purpose.  It becomes harder and harder for the media to ignore the issue.  When the dam breaks, Obama will have swim, and I don't believe he can.

Three Contractors

Three contractors walk into a bar ...
Understanding Obama's scamulus package

Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago, another is from Tennessee, and the third is from Minnesota.

All three go with a White House official to examine the fence. The Minnesota contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. "Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me."

The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me."

The Chicago contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, "$2,700."

The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?"

The Chicago contractor whispers back, "$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence."

"Done!" replies the White house official.

And that, my friends, is how the new stimulus plan will work. - Alaska Paul

Making Stuff Up

Four Papers in Two!
Do anti-Guantanamo editorialists bother to read their own newspapers?

Two days before Barack Obama took office as president, the New York Times weighed in with an editorial--not its first--denouncing the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay for violating the rights of terrorists.  The Los Angeles Times columnist Tim Rutten this Saturday published an anti-Guantanamo rant similar to that Times editorial:
Of all the collateral damage America suffered on 9/11, none may have been more catastrophic than the Bush/Cheney administration's rejection of our established civilian and military legal systems to deal with the country's criminal enemies. In fact, the murky, torture-ridden parallel gulag they tried to create may have pushed some of the most culpable Al Qaeda criminals--like Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the alleged 9/11 mastermind--nearly beyond the reach of justice.
On that very day, both the the LAT and NYT were forced to print a news story carrying the headline "Guantánamo Meets Geneva Rules, Pentagon Study Finds." And this is not a study from the bad Bush Pentagon:
A Pentagon report requested by President Obama on the conditions at the Guantánamo Bay detention center concluded that the prison complies with the humane-treatment requirements of the Geneva Conventions. But it makes recommendations for improvements including increasing human contact for the prisoners, according to two government officials who have read parts of it.
This is not an isolated instance of the Left media getting things wrong.  As James Taranto put it, Everyone is entitled to his opinion, of course. But the Times editorialists and Rutten seem to think that they are immune from Pat Moynihan's dictum that no one is entitled to his own facts.

Mo Money, Mo Money

Why are at least five Republican Governors

Free” Obama money?

Consider South Carolina. Its annual budget is roughly $7 billion and the stimulus will send about $2.8 billion to the state over two years. But to spend the hundreds of millions of dollars allocated to the likes of Head Start, child care subsidies and special education, the state will have to enroll thousands of new families into the programs. "There's no way politically we're going to be able to push people out of the program in two years when the federal money runs out," Mr. Sanford says.
This [Govs. v, Congress] says it all.  I'm disappointed that Sarah Palin had to skip the conference to fend off political attacks, but maybe she'll join in anyway.  Maryland gets 3 Billion of the free money.  Our Governor O'Malley announced he'll use it to purchase "Green" school buses.   The  Maryland State Retirement and Pension System have  $11 billion worth of unfunded pension liabilities, and  Counties 'devour' 40% of the State Budget on Pensions each year, but, we'll have environmentally friendly school buses.  Someone stab me in the liver, please.

This WSJ report about the gummint nationalizing Citigroup
When federal officials began pumping capital into U.S. banks last October, few experts would have predicted that the government would soon be wrestling with the possibility of taking voting control of large financial institutions. The potential move at Citigroup would give the government its biggest ownership of a financial-services company since the September bailout of insurer American International Group Inc., which left taxpayers with an 80% stake.

Under the scenario being considered, a substantial chunk of the $45 billion in preferred shares held by the government would convert into common stock, people familiar with the matter said. The government obtained those shares, equivalent to a 7.8% stake, in return for pumping capital into Citigroup.

The move wouldn't cost taxpayers additional money, but other Citigroup shareholders would see their stock diluted. A larger ownership stake by the government could fuel (could fuel?) speculation that other troubled banks will line up for similar agreements
Simultaneously, Obama tries to halt talk of bank nationalization, and his Secretary of Mayhem George Soros is comparing the current situation to the demise of the Soviet Union.  Non-stop crisis generation since September, eh wot?  Here's a funny (he wept) reaction from the moron camp.
[Salon's Glenn] Greenwald imagines that militias are again on the rise because Barack Obama is "an exotic other occupying the White House" and because the U.S. is a "declining imperial power," these things upsetting to gun-owning, white folks, apparently.

Bill Clinton's election in 1992 gave rise to the American "militia movement": hordes of overwhelmingly white, middle-aged men from suburban and rural areas who convinced themselves they were defending the American way of life from the "liberals" and "leftists" running the country by dressing up in military costumes on weekends, wobbling around together with guns, and play-acting the role of patriot-warriors. Those theater groups -- the cultural precursor to George Bush's prancing 2003 performance dressed in a fighter pilot outfit on Mission Accomplished Day -- spawned the decade of the so-called "Angry White Male," the movement behind the 1994 takeover of the U.S. Congress by Newt Gingrich and his band of federal-government-cursing, pseudo-revolutionary, play-acting tough guys. [The 1990s are back ... .]
These guys fear constitutional citizen militia like the French fear soap.  Too bad there aren't any militia in these parts, because I'd join one.  At this point I have no fantasy, no realistic fantasy,  about storming congress; I'm looking for an organized resistance to the chaos these people are trying to throw us into.  Someone to defend against gummint thugs in the event Obama suspends the constitution and declares a FEMA free-for-all. Or, against lawless scavengers on the order Mad Max faced if Obama's master plan comes to full fruition.

Ha-ha.  Just kidding.  Everything will be just great.  How about them Oscars?

BALL 4

Rdddddrrrrun Laddie

A recent Scottish immigrant attends his first baseball game in his new country and after a base hit he hears the fans roaring

"Run....run!" The next batter connects heavily with the ball and the Scotsman stands up and roars with the crowd in his thick accent: "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-run will ya!"

A third batter slams a hit and again the Scotsman, obviously pleased with his knowledge of the game, screams: "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-r-run will ya!"

The next batter held his swing at three and two and as the ump calls a walk.

The Scotsman stands up yelling: "R-r-run ya Bahstard, r-r-run!" All the surrounding fans chuckle quietly and he sits down confused. A friendly fan, sensing his embarrassment whispers, "He doesn't have to run, he got four balls."

"Walk with pr-r-ride laddie!"

You’ve heard a lot about the astonishing spending in the $787 billion economic stimulus bill, signed into law this week by President Barack Obama. But you probably haven’t heard about a provision in the bill.

The provision, which attracted virtually no attention in the debate over the 1,073-page stimulus bill, creates something called the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board — the RAT Board, as it’s known by the few insiders who are aware of it.

In the name of accountability and transparency, Congress has given the RAT Board the authority to ask “that an inspector general conduct or refrain from conducting an audit or investigation.” If the inspector general doesn’t want to follow the wishes of the RAT Board, he’ll have to write a report explaining his decision to the board, as well as to the head of his agency (from whom he is supposedly independent) and to Congress.

When Iowa Republican Sen. Charles Grassley, a longtime champion of inspectors general, read the words “conduct or refrain from conducting,” alarm bells went off. The language means that the board — whose chairman will be appointed by the president — can reach deep inside a federal agency and tell an inspector general to lay off some particularly sensitive subject. Or, conversely, it can tell the inspector general to go after a tempting political target

National Guard scraps plans to invade rural town

“I'll just go in a little bit ... .
DES MOINES, Iowa – Following publicized reports that the Army National Guard was planning a military training exercise on the streets of a rural Iowa town, the commanding officers have called off the mock "invasion."

The Guard had planned a four-day urban military operation in tiny Arcadia, Iowa, population 443, sending troops to take over the town and search door-to-door for a suspected weapons dealer.

The exercise was designed as a mock scenario to give soldiers the skills needed for deployment in an urban environment, and military officials stressed that only households that consented to be part of the drill would be searched. [cont]
Thank God there were enough people to complain, I don't care if it was voluntary.  Allowing any gummint agency to practice home invasion  is akin to letting your kid point an unloaded gun at you.   Especially with the lawless gummint we have today.  Sheesh.  I would like to see them practice on congressional office buildings though.

Obama's Brown Shirts

If they act like Brown-Shirts, treat them like Brown-Shirts

ACORN Trains Citizens To Protest Home Foreclosures

Near Patterson Park, the padlock on the door and the sign in the window tell part of Donna Hanks foreclosure story.

"The mortgage went up $300 in one month," said Hanks, former homeowner.

She says the bank refused to modify her loan and foreclosed, kicking her out of the house in September.

The community group ACORN calls Hanks a victim of predatory lending. [Mandated by Democrats in Congress]

"This is our house now," said Louis Beverly, ACORN.

And on Thursday afternoon, they literally broke the foreclosure padlock right off the front door and then broke into the house, letting Hanks back in for the first time in months.

"We are actually trespassing, and so this is a way of civil disobedience to try to stay in the house," said Beverly. "Legally it's wrong, but homesteading is the only means that she has left to stay in her house. And we feel as though this is the right thing to do at this particular time to save this family."

How many ACORN activists were caught red-handed  generating fraudulent votes during the past election?  How many have been, or will be prosecuted?  That's right.  Let me axe you something.  How would the Hitler Channel today view those who laid clubs upside the heads of the brown shirted Sturm Abteilung (S.A.)?  As German patriots, is how. Too bad it's against the law.  But, history's lesson is that when a people feel the law will no longer protect them, they turn to DIY vigilantism. I'm just saying, we're headed for no good
