Also, there's  Francis's ascendancy after Pope Benedict's unprecedented resignation.  Resignation.  Made me wary.   But nothing has concerned me more than Francis's  recent, as reported by the New York Times lobby, dalliance with Brock Obama.  I have no real problem with his lobbying Il Douchebag on the Cuba issue.  I do have a major problem with him embracing—in a possible quid pro quo imprimatur—man caused (AGW) global warming.  The incontrovertible facts are: Obama is a liar.  Obama is a proponent for, and long time facilitator of infanticide.  Obama is the nearest thing to an Augusto Pinochet or Hugo Chávez dictator that El Norte have known.  He ought, on those points alone, have earned the Pope's enmity.  There's more. The entire "climate movement" is manifestly a leftist operation designed to establish one world government, and bring the United States into economic equilibrium. And!, every pseudo-scientific pronouncement, study, white paper, or law passed on man caused climate change, over the past 50 years, has been systematically shown to be fabricated.  Lies. Every diligently scientific study extant agrees.  So.  AGW climatists are liars.  Obama is a liar.  The American left are liars.  If it's true that Pope Francis has indeed signed on to using AGW climate change as an instrument to achieve social change, then he too would be a liar.  Yes, he is still  Vicarius Christi, but we've had bad Popes before.  A Pope's infallibility extends only to proclamations of doctrine of faith or morals.  He hasn't crossed that line. Pray he does not. Because if he does, he would be an illegitimate pope. IMO. ”

Pope WTF? He warned his followers to turn away from “having a personal relationship with Jesus ... Pope Francis has made some public statements recently that have Catholics and Christians alike very worried. He warned his followers to turn away from “having a personal relationship with Jesus,” adding that it “is dangerous and very harmful.” The speech has people worried that the Pope is fulfilling terrible fantasies. Speaking in front of a crowd of over 33,000 Christians in Rome, the Pope warned that a “personal, direct, immediate relationship with Jesus must be avoided at all costs.” He then followed up with a statement that may shed some light on this situation, he said that no Catholic can truly be a follower of God on his or her own, they need the help of the Church for salvation. Of course they do. Pope Francis also recently made some interesting remarks that U.S. citizens must be subjected to a one world government “for their own good.” He continued to argue that only a “political authority” would be able to combat “climate change” and other global issues. It makes sense that Pope Francis would be so in tune with the climate considering his multiple degrees in science and climatology from esteemed universities.. The Pope seems more interested in pushing the policy of global leaders than preaching the word of God, because he also recently said he believes more power should be in the hands of the U.N. over individual countries. The Pope clearly has another agenda, what it is, we don’t know, but preaching that you can’t have a personal relationship with God and that you need the Church, and also stating that humanity is better off in the hands of one overarching global power, it seems he may have other ambitions than the spiritual health of his followers. A personal relationship with the Savior is the foundational principle of Christianity. The Pope’s remarks seem contradictory at best. At worst, they appear to come straight from John’s revelation, which is bad news for all. Bottom Line .... The Catholic Church has survived some pretty bad Popes; it will survive Francis.  Wait.  I'm not saying Pope Francis is a bad pope just because he's steeped in leftist politics, and takes money from George Solos, and counsels with Barry Obama—the most despicable President of all time.  I'm just saying that on the off chance he's as bad as many Cardinals fear (re: Doctrine of the Faith), the faithful will pay him scant attention.  BTW, my confessor and I are at loggerheads over the efficacy of certain positions this Pope has taken, without any penance imposed so far.

Oh, Jeez.  Then a second thought.  Wait.  AP?  Media  pronouncements on Pope Francis have, either through ignorance or design, been largely misinterpreted/misrepresented, with a bias toward him in agreement with the Left's hope that the meddlesome Catholic Church will finally crack.  Toe the line.  Their line.  Of course no AP writer has ever been to church, so this is all as mysterious as lady's bits. I recognize a very fine line between Christianity and, say, communism/socialism.  The line is crossed when, in the name of Christ, zealots miss entirely the nuance that is personal kindness v. state enforced dictate.  The sixties and seventies brought us Jesuits, and elected Democrats,  like Robert Drinan and, Robert John Cornell.  Radical antiwar Jesuits, the Berrigan Brothers, were a daily disgusting headline.  In 1980, Pope John Paul II unequivocally demanded that all priests withdraw from electoral politics.  I mean, how can Catholic priests be complicit with the murder of unborn children for chrissake?! Where were the Berrigans  on that? They were anything but nuanced. Some Snippets. Pope Francis discussed “equitable development” and a spirit of generosity, and he even mentioned — near the end, almost as an afterthought — that the state should continue to play a role in this. But there’s no “demand” for broader “legitimate redistribution” by government. … In this case, the term “legitimate” is a limiting factor when redistribution is placed in the context of the Gospel story of Zacchaeus. Who was Zaccheaus? He was a tax collector — an agent of the government — who overtaxed and profited from his cheating. In Luke 19, Jesus’ visit to Jericho inspires this sinner and cheater to repent when Jesus extends an invitation to join him. What does Zacchaeus do in response? He proclaims his intent to redistribute his ill-gotten gains back to those whom he defrauded, and to willingly and privately share his wealth with the poor. ”And Zacchae’us stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded any one of anything, I restore it fourfold.” When Francis said “legitimate redistribution” right near the end, he was clearly condoning some kind of role for governments in assisting the poor. Perhaps he even believes in a more robust role than he lets on here. But he did offer anything on that topic here. To be sure, a demand for a more robust government role would not necessarily be inconsistent with anything he said, but it’s also not what he said. In fact, the use of the word “legitimate” here appears to play the opposite role that the AP’s headline implies — namely, the Pope is implying that not all government redistribution is “legitimate,” and that there might be unspecified limits to what it is just for the state to do. (Which is, in fact, part of the message of the earlier papal documents he cites immediately before that line.) JMJ ”

This latest pronouncement ('No Room' for Homosexuality in Priesthood," is stupefying.  Here's what Church doctrine says about the matter. One can hardly be blamed for being wired with a homo erotic tendency, oui?  The sin is having sex for reasons other than procreation (spilling one's seed on rocks.)  Which is why using the pill is not condoned.  One of the biggest scandals in recent times was the  Father Joseph Maskell  rape of Catholic School girls. So why, this.  Now?  Seems like he's running with the bulls on this one.
