I will miss Christopher Hitchens.  He once described himself on C-Span as being ''not just liberal, but radical liberal.'' He attacked Mother Theresa, and could indeed be the consummate liberal twat.  But, unlike other Liberals Hitchens was principled.   Later in life it seemed to me that he  become more of an 18th century liberal, and was closeted guilty pleasure for me.    And his command of the English language and acid wit!  Brilliant.   I've chosen a moment from Bill Maher's show in 2006 as my official eulogy.
