Illegal Invaders

HOME INVASION & YOUR RIGHT TO SELF DEFENSE

A conversation worth having, in the absence of law enforcement

Self-Defense Overview
It is a universally accepted principle that a person may protect themselves from harm under appropriate circumstances, even when that behavior would normally constitute a crime.

Self-defense is defined as the right to prevent suffering force or violence through the use of a sufficient level of counteracting force or violence.  This definition is simple enough on its face, but it raises many questions when applied to actual situations.  For instance, what is a sufficient level of force or violence when defending oneself?
As a general rule, self-defense only justifies the use of force when it is used in response to an immediate threat.  The threat can be verbal, as long as it puts the intended victim in an immediate fear of physical harm.

Castle Doctrine
Even in states that require a person to retreat from the threat of imminent harm before defending themselves, a person can often use deadly force against someone who unlawfully enters their home.  This rule, also known as “the castle doctrine,” allows people to defend their homes against intruder through lethal force. The Nays of Texas

This Flyer's Purpose:  Turn 20 Now Red Texas Congressional Districts Blue

Rodge,

This is the front side of a flyer I received in the mail. I knew passing healthcare wouldn't placate the progressives. According to this flyer, the next step to offset the high costs of Obamacare is to pass a $20 an hr minimum wage. The left won't be satisfied until they destroy free-market capitalism.

One thing you can say about the dems that you don't see from the repubs are battle plans. Winning Texas would be huge for them, and I can remember seeing plans to turn Tx blue about 5 years ago. The repubs just seem to be satisfied with whatever they win, and have an image of not only not planning, but not even fighting back. At the nat'l level the party is controlled by the RINO faction, and fight with the dems against conservatives.

Drummer Rick

Yeah, well everything is larger than life in Texas, and that includes blatant political crime.  Democrats brazen enough to steal a US Senate seat for LBJ; steal a presidential election from Richard Nixon (which ultimtely led to President LBJ ); who regularly indict political enemies on trumped up charges; who help engineer the most massive invasion of illegals in—hellworld history?—in order to nullify the American vote;  well, they are capable of anything.  Only solution I can think of is to nuke Austin Texas., which would be quite illegal, unfortunately.  But, then, this is Texas. Hey, I know.  When I was a kid there were tricks to save people in just such a predicament!

The Obamissariat

Obama's assault on Israel is a moral outrage
(if one has morals to begin with)

During the 2008 presidential election, as skeptics of Barack Obama questioned his support for Israel, his campaign, with help from media allies, pursued an aggressive counteroffensive. The strategy was to delegitimize reasonable criticism of Obama’s record by lumping it together with zany conspiracy theories from fringe figures and anonymous Internet commenters.

[Atlantic’s Jeffrey] Goldberg boasted that Netanyahu was essentially suckered by Obama into holding off on an attack that could have prevented Iran from becoming a nuclear power.
Weeks before the election, the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg wrote a post titled, “Dear Jews: Stop the Obama Paranoia.” He urged, “all you rumor-mongering, fever-headed Jewish conspiracists: Support McCain, if you want, and there are credible reasons for doing so, but stop smearing Obama in the face of overwhelming evidence that the man is a great friend of Jews and of Israel. After a point, it becomes obvious that what you fear is not Israel's destruction, but the presence of an African-American in the White House. And that's disgusting.”

But critics of Obama have unfortunately been vindicated. [Full]

There really is nothing new to be saidI'm just piling at this pointbut I imagine there will be Hollywood Jew enablers of Obama who will someday be surprised to realize what they've done. But they won't blame themselves.

NJ COPS SHUT DOWN GEEZER 10¢ BINGO

Police State

TEXT
Is this the worst person in America?*

[...] That former employee — nicknamed by me just now as the Elder Skelter — told New Jersey’s gaming commission that “illegal activity” was going down at Pleasant View — an underground bingo game with a 10-cent per card buy-in and a three-card maximum— New Jersey’s Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission made the decision to drop the hammer.

Residents of Pleasant View Village can no longer play their beloved 10-cent games with non-residents, and they cannot play at all when the Meals on Wheels program is in the building three days a week. In fact, the Meals on Wheels program now requires a permit to allow bingo games while they are in the building. [FullStory]

Just a guess, but with the collapse of the Atlantic City gambling industry, the Garden State is fife with Games of Chance Control Commission hangers-on desperate to protect their sinecure. It's what happens when bureaucrats are threatened with shrinkage.

*No.  That would be Barack Obama

Dana Long, Arrested 'Crat

"He was arrested this morning. His name is Dana Long and he is Bethany Hall-Long's husband, Delaware State Senator and Democrat."

Okay, small potatoes compared to stuff like Jaw-Dropping Study Claims Large Numbers of Non-Citizens Vote in U.S., but this is one guy doing all he can (without using firearms) to contain these lawless Democrats.  Yes, Democrats;  from stem to stern, top to bottom; they are a cancer. Cheers on him!

Liberals have this terrible habit ...

Liberals have this terrible and annoying habit of congratulating themselves for their intellectual heft merely because they hold liberal views. Once this arrogant notion reigns, it's tough for liberals to acknowledge when one of their own says something so remarkably untrue and stupid that it makes you wonder just how ignorant is the liberal really. -- L. Brent Bozell III

That lede from Hillary Clinton Flunks Economics is so good I want to gild it and put it in a glass case.  The story itself is only another example of stupid things Hillary Clinton gets away with; e.g.

At an event for Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley in Boston on Oct. 24, Hillary Clinton told the assembled Democratic faithful:
"Don't let anybody tell you that, you know, it's corporations and businesses that create jobs."

I'm adding it to my (now 5) favorite Hillary Quotes:
  1. "We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
  2. "God bless the America we are trying to create."
  3. "I have to confess that it's crossed my mind that you could not be a Republican and a Christian."
  4. "Come on Bill, put your dick up!  You can’t fuck her here!!” (to Gov. Clinton when she spots him talking with an attractive female).
  5. Don't let anybody tell you that, you know, it's corporations and businesses that create jobs.

Birds of a Feather

Looking for the soft side here boss .....

“As far as Barack Obama is concerned, he doesn’t care who wins the Senate,” Limbaugh said on his national broadcast Tuesday. “When it’s all said and done, it isn’t gonna change what he’s doing. I think everybody ought to buckle up for Obama in these last two years.”

Limbaugh said once January arrives, it isn’t going to matter which political party will be in charge of the Senate:

“He’s gonna executive action, executive order as much as he thinks he can get away with. And he’s gonna go, I think, at NASCAR break-neck speeds. And don’t think he’s gonna care what they say in the Senate, I don’t think he’s gonna care what they do in the Senate because he knows the one thing they won’t do is impeach him.

“And so Obama’s gonna tell himself, ‘There’s no way they’re gonna stop me.’ He’s gonna tell himself, ‘They won’t even try to stop me. They may try to stop me by not giving me the votes, but what do I care? I’m gonna sign executive actions. I’m gonna have [Ebola czar] Ron Klain out there leading the way for me.’”

Rush Limbaugh yesterday

*See?  Everyone has a soft side *

Bumpkinification?

Democrat Media Monkeys

The Bumpification of the Midterm Elections

Something Else Strategies, the media-consulting firm responsible for “Squeal,” also masterminded a widely noted spot for the Republican Mike McFadden, who is challenging Al Franken for his Senate seat in Minnesota. McFadden, a former college-football player who now coaches a youth team, recruited his players to appear in a “Bad News Bears"-style spot in which they mess up handoffs (“Washington is fumbling our future”) and clobber each other (“Obamacare needs to be sacked”) before the coach rouses them to “get out there and hit somebody.”

At that point, for no particular reason, one player hits him below the belt, leaving the coach to recite the “I’m Mike McFadden, and I approve this message” bit in a high-pitched squeal — the universal signifier of a guy who has just been hit in his junk.

Critics of the McFadden ad questioned whether such a joke might fall beneath the dignity of a prospective United States senator.

Republicans look poised to pick up Congressional seats throughout America a week from today, so it is accordingly time for the New York Times to let its contempt for the portion of America that exists west of the Hudson to fly. The article, entitled “The Bumpkinification of the Midterm Elections” reads like an 800 word grievance against the idea that Rep. Bruce Braley (D-IA) should have to apologize for suggesting that a farmer is unfit to serve as a Senator. In a fairly representative paragraph, the New York Times displays its exasperation at the idea that politicians should have to apologize for being professional politicians (Red State)

FAT GIRLS

'FAT GIRL' HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

Walmart sparked outrage on social media Monday after they featured plus-size Halloween costumes on their website under the "fat girl costumes" category.

This is apparently what people were looking at this morning when they typed "fat" into the store's search engine ...

Here's the story,  but watching the Channel 5 news-readerette with twisted panties above says everything about what decent people have to deal with these days from  sanctimonious politically correct cows like her.  Sheesh.  The next post down (the Islamo "joke")  is another example.    *click-click*

He wasn’t beheaded, was he?

Islamos
The punishment for riding on the same bike as a boy

Clearly the UK is still a moderate Muslim country. He wasn’t beheaded, was he?
(Note: this joke may be illegal in the United Kingdom. If you read it and chuckled, report immediately to the nearest police department that is busy ignoring Muslim sexual abuse of girls.) (via Vlad Tepes)

A pensioner who said ‘I’m not Muslim’ when he was asked to remove his shoes at airport security has spent more than six months facing charges for racism.

Paul Griffith, 75, pictured, set off the security scanner’s alarm at Stansted airport when travelling to Malaga for a week’s holiday.

He removed his shoes as requested, but said: ‘I am not Muslim am I?’

 [...]

A security guard accused him of racism and called the police, saying he was upset by the remark.

‘One minute I am queuing up to get on a plane and the next I am confronted by two armed policemen.

‘They said I had used racist language and took me to an office in the terminal,’ Mr Griffith said yesterday.

…He was charged with causing ‘racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress’. [Full]

Top Gear Cars

ASIDE:  Yes, I'm still watching Top Gear (BBC) on Netflix. My 5th or sixth cyle.  Why?  I don't know. I mean, that works out to 95 8-hour days of  it!  It obviously has a salutary effect on me, else I wouldn't.  The cast in the newer series do seem to be a parody of themselves; there's only so many times you can drop caravans on more caravans, or race across deserts in £1500 Porches; but I carry on anyway.  The "golden years" had this opening sequence (right), and ended (I think) with the annoying  "Some say he ... The Stig" introduction meme.  Strange thing is, I'm now watching the 2004 episodes, and for the first time, one of the cars (the "NEW" Golf GTI) looks dated.

Progressive Washington State
The nation's leader in serial killers; CPUSA dominated labor unions,  and King County, the Cook County of  western USA political corruption.

[...] This kind of attack is going to become more frequent. The slap-fight fascists at the Orwellian named Human Rights Campaign (because their actions demonstrate that they are only in favor of human rights so long as sodomy is involved) is gearing up a campaign directed at Catholic prelates who are vocal about adhering to Scripture and Tradition (both of which proscribe what the HRC is in favor of):

The LGBT group has announced an activist effort targeting eight bishops in a pamphlet that labels them as “the best of the worst Catholic bishops across the country.”

Its campaign will target Cardinal Francis George of Chicago, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco, Archbishop John Nienstedt of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Archbishop Dennis Schnurr of Cincinnati, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz of Louisville, Ky., the president of the U.S. bishops’ conference, Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia, Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore and Bishop Thomas Paprocki of Springfield, Ill.

The effort aims to target bishops the activist group claims have been “most outspoken in their rejection of LGBT Catholics, their civil rights and their rightful place in the Church.” The effort will include Rosary events and literature distributions in the bishops’ home cities.

Attacks on Christians who adhere to Christian doctrine actually does us a favor. First off, it pull the mask off the ugly face of sexual deviance revealing it the monstrosity it is. Second, it give Christians everywhere a wake up call that you can’t cooperate with moral evil such as abortion and homosexual activity and expect the evil to not turn on you. [Full]

HANGED!

Iran hangs woman for killing her alleged rapist

She could have escaped the death penalty if the slain man’s family had agreed to accept “blood money,” a common Iranian legal practice, but relatives refused, demanding their right for "an eye for an eye."
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran hanged a woman on Saturday who was convicted of murdering a man she alleged was trying to rape her, drawing swift international condemnation for a prosecution several countries described as flawed.

Reyhaneh Jabbari was hanged at dawn for premeditated murder, the official IRNA news agency reported. It quoted a statement issued by the Tehran Prosecutor Office Saturday that rejected the claim of attempted rape and said that all evidence proved that Jabbari had plotted to kill Morteza Abdolali Sarbandi, a former intelligence agent. [One Account]

My first instinct after reading this further example of Islamo barbarism was use it to bitch-slap federal judges  who actively favor the introduction of Sharia law into our national Constitution; e.g. Kagan promoted Sharia; or, U.S. judge permanently bans Oklahoma Islamic law vote; etc.  I still do, but in this instance there is this to consider:

According to her 2009 sentencing, Jabbari, 27, stabbed Sarbandi in the back in 2007 after purchasing a knife two days earlier.

"The knife had been used on the back of the deceased, indicating the murder was not self-defense," the agency quoted the court ruling as saying.

If I'm a juror in an American court case, I have to find her guilty of premeditated murder, babe or no babe.

Nippy

Etymology

I just now, quite out of the blue, figured out from whence the phrase "it's getting nippy out" comes.  It was so obvious *smacks head.*
