OBAMA'S DOD COWERS

When Progressives are in charge
American Bowzy-Wowzy

London: 1908 Olymics At the opening ceremony, American shot putter Ralph Rose, the US flag bearer, refused to dip the flag to the royal box because, "This flag dips to no earthly king."  With a few exception that practice was repeated by American Olympic delegations until prior to the 1936 Hitler Olympics in Berlin, " the tradition gets codified for the USOC — it's not just the athletes doing it, now there's an official policy After 1936, we never dip again." (LA TIMES)

Of course since 2008 the United States president, Brock Ebola, has dipped himself to every monarch he's met  (with the exception of Britain's queen), showing particular displays of fealty to Islamo nabobs.

It's funny how one thing will send my mind racing to other things that have no apparent relationship.  The below, seemingly unconnected event produced all that.

Verging on Mass Murder

The Obamissariat

The deadly EV-D68 enterovirus epidemic, which struck thousands of kids this fall, was likely propelled through America by President Barack Obama’s decision to allow tens of thousands of Central Americans across the Texas border, according to a growing body of genetic and statistical evidence.

The issue is dangerous for scientists because it could spike existing public opposition to the unpopular effort by Obama, Democrats and business-backed Republicans to increase the migration of foreign nationals ... into the United States.
That inflow is a top priority for the Democratic leaders, who have the power to make life difficult for grant-dependent American scientists who discover politically damaging information.
The evidence includes admissions from top health officials that the epidemic included multiple strains of the virus, and that it appeared simultaneously in multiple independent locations.

The question can be settled if federal researchers study the genetic fingerprint of the EV-D68 viruses that first hit kids in Colorado, Missouri and Illinois to see if they are close relatives to the EV-D68 viruses found in Central America.

Columbia University researcher Rafal Tokarz, one of the nation’s top experts on the EV-D68 virus, declined to comment to TheDC about the impact of Obama’s border policies. “I cannot comment… and at this time it would not be appropriate for me to do so… I would really rather not comment,” he said in email conversations.

I'm tempted to snark "Duh, to the surprise of nobody," but then I recall the throng of good Progressives who were actually  gobsmocked to learn that Clinton lied about ... well, anything.  This Kardashian meme is how Progressive play-babies handle any unpleasant truthe.g. "birthers;" they Alinsky the messengers by ridicule.  Let's hope they get lucky this time, and none of us have to die  for Obama's sins.

RapeX

    Liberal Culture

RAPEX

I'm not excluding so called "date rape," but too often that's a nebulous deal; but clear-cut violent rape, where a woman is assaulted by someone she doesn't know, nor has any relationship with, is, or ought be, a capital offense.  So, is Rape-X a good idea? Here's

HBKanedge818's comment on the You Tune site.

This is a Fail. Think about it. This will only enrage the rapist to the point of Murdering the Woman.

If it's true that rape is an act of hate against women, then this deal could indeed be lethal.  But there's other reasons why I don't like it.  Just below I posted about SWAT-ing, a practice where lawless anti-gun Liberal loons, of whom we are aswamp, send police a false report about a gunman who is in fact just someone they know who carries.  These people are violent haters; True Believers who will stop at nothing to advance their movement.  Can we think of another group of Lib activists similarly  populated by sick minded hatersman haters?  That's right, "women liberation" skanks.  The RapeX sheath can be, in their hands, a weapon, not a prevention.

Today's prediction

On  Nov 4, 1961 I attended my third ever college football game.  Watched Maryland beat Top Ten ranked Penn State 21-17.  It would be the only time the Terps would beat Penn State.  They play today, and before kick-off I will post my prediction.  At this moment I see a Terps win, but my true feeling on such things best manifest 1 minute before the game.  I do not hate Penn State, but I do despise James Franklin, their coach.  He is in my mind the college football equivalent of  ex-UCONN BB coach Jim Calhoun; a liar and a cheat.

Back in 45 minutes.

Okay Maryland 42, Penn State 27
If MD's QB Brown can get the ball close to his  receivers, we win.  I'm saying that Brown can't be as bad as he was against Wisconsin.  Book it.

RUH ROH - The refs gave MD a 15 yard penalty
BEFORE the opening kickoff.

SWAT-ING

SWAT-ing

‘SWAT-ting,’ a technological exploit in which hackers (or those with the ability to ‘spoof’ telephone numbers or otherwise fool emergency response networks) simulate emergency calls in order to direct law enforcement officers to a specific address. Often, Voice Over IP (VOIP) and other modern telecommunications methods are used to hide the caller’s true identity. Notably, SWAT-ting was originally invented as a new means of silencing conservatives by liberals. Here's an example ....

Fairfax, Virginia, resident and open-carry advocate Robert Dickens heard the police siren and saw the lights, so he very carefully stopped his motorcycle, locked his hands on his head and calmly waited for instructions.

He said yes when an officer asked if he could remove a handgun from a holster Dickens was wearing. He gave the same answer when the officer asked to take temporary custody of a pocketknife he had in his pocket.

In the end, he’s thankful he’s still alive after an up-close and personal encounter with “swatting,’ the practice of making a false report of an on-going critical incident to prompt an emergency response.

“Wow, I could have been killed!” he wrote in a report on the Bearing Arms website of an October incident in which officers from many police units suddenly pulled up around him while he was riding his motorcycle home from a couple of errands.

Such swatting incidents are becoming more common. They started out with Internet gamers who would hide behind online personas and anonymous names to report that their gaming opponent had a gun or had taken hostages.

The response often is a full-scale SWAT team at the location, with guns drawn and military vehicles at the ready. It’s even happened to actor Clint Eastwood.

History of the Eagles

CINEMA

Friday night I got up to water the plants and had trouble getting back to sleep, so I rang up NetFlix on the iPad and stumbled over "History of the Eagles."  I was never really an Eagles fan; they came along after I was married and had a family, etc., and by then I listened to talk radio in the car.  Anyway, the next thing I know the sun was up!  The thing is 3 hours and 7 minutes.  Needless to say, I was fascinated; it's the best (after Spinal Tap - that was real, wasn't it?) band documentary I've seen.  Daily Motion breaks it into 4 parts and I've embedded part one as a sampler; but NetFlix is the way to go.

You're welcome.

DEMS THREATEN VOTERS ...

ThugBama

Dems threaten reprisals against non voters

Democrats are telling voters that they had better head to the polls — or else.

The committee — chaired by former Gov. David Paterson — defended the scare tactic, calling it standard practice throughout the country.
The New York State Democratic Committee is bullying people into voting next week with intimidating letters warning that it can easily find out which slackers fail to cast a ballot next Tuesday.

“Who you vote for is your secret. But whether or not you vote is public record,” the letter says.

“We will be reviewing voting records . . . to determine whether you joined your neighbors who voted in 2014.”

It ends with a line better suited to a mob movie than a major political party: “If you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why not.”

The letter and accompanying post card was criticized even by party members, with one Democratic consultant saying it was the wrong way to inspire votes.

“It’s a threatening letter. It’s a scare piece that is unnecessary and inappropriate,” the insider said.

Brooklyn and Manhattan residents who received the note Wednesday were furious, calling it an attempt to browbeat them into showing up at the polls.

“I’m outraged. Whether I vote or not is none of your business!” said a Manhattan voter, who was so incensed that she complained to a local Democratic leader.

“The letter is ludicrous and menacing,” said the voter, who requested anonymity.

The woman also received a report card of her voting record, pointing out that she had failed to vote in two of the last four elections.

Overall, the notices were sent out to 1 million registered Democrats who had failed to vote in previous midterm elections, according to the group.

The committee — chaired by former Gov. David Paterson — defended the scare tactic, calling it standard practice throughout the country.

“This flier is part of the nationwide Democratic response to traditional Republican voter-suppression efforts, because Democrats believe our democracy works better when more people vote, not
less,” said Peter Kauffmann, a committee spokesman.

“The difference between Democrats and Republicans is they don’t want people to vote and we want everyone to vote.”

Paterson declined to comment.

The mailer has a phone number on it that goes to Election Protection, a nonpartisan voting organization.

The organization said it had received a “significant” number of calls about the letter.

Such attempts to shame people to vote — what politicos call “social pressure” or peer pressure — has become more common place and was used by the Obama campaign in 2012, sources said.

A Yale University study in 2008 found that voter participation increased substantially after lazy voters received letters telling them their spotty voting history was a public record that would be scrutinized.

The notice includes a “vote report card” rating New Yorkers’ voting records as “excellent,” “good,” “fair” or “incomplete.”

“Many organizations monitor turnout in your neighborhood and are disappointed by the inconsistent voting of many of your neighbors,” it says.

The letter came a week before heavily favored Democratic Gov. Cuomo faces off against Republican Rob Astorino.

Cuomo was not behind the shame letters, party sources insisted.

But Astorino scoffed, “Andrew Cuomo’s thuggish tactics just crossed the line into creepy territory . . . Threatening and intimidating people is not how honorable elected leaders operate.” [New York Post]

I know, you're seeing this story everywhere, but I want it in my archives.

Maryland Vote Fraud

Waiting For Al Franken To Win In Maryland

Last week we saw how "Early voting in Illinois got off to a rocky start when votes being cast for Republican candidates were transformed into votes for Democrats."  This week the same charges have been leveled here in Maryland.
Democratic candidate Anthony Brown says he’s confident the board will address all issues.

“I think we should always be vigilant to make sure that voters can cast a ballot and that it’s accurately recorded,” said Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, (D) Maryland. In a statement to WJZ, board officials say “election officials receive similar reports in every election.

Post-election analysis (?) has shown that this is caused by voter error. Voters with large fingers or long nails or voters who hold the touchscreen with their palm resting on the screen seem to report this issue more frequently.”  ahem

Okay, I'm listening to Tom Marr (WCBM) this morning, and a women calls about her voting experience in Queen Anne's County (MD). It went something like this.

Woman, voice shaking ( ...  after I voted for Andy Harris (the only elected congressional Republican  from Md.) I checked my ballot to make sure I'd filled everything in and thereright in front of my eyesmy vote for Harris disappeared and moved to the Democrat!  I raised my hand and the election judge came over.   I explained what just happened and he asked, "Well, did you fix it?".  I went back and changed it to Harris, then watched  for a few minutes to make sure it didn't change again before punching out.

After the Ellen Sauerbrey stick-up in 1994, I doubt there's many non-Liberals in this state who have faith in the outcome of any close race.  The explanation that long fingernails, or hitting the screen with a palm is responsible is lame to begin with, but impossible when the change appears on the review screen.  So, either this lady is lying, or this is a prima facie case of machine code being "tweaked" by you-know-who.

HOME INVASION & YOUR RIGHT TO SELF DEFENSE

A conversation worth having, in the absence of law enforcement

Self-Defense Overview
It is a universally accepted principle that a person may protect themselves from harm under appropriate circumstances, even when that behavior would normally constitute a crime.

Self-defense is defined as the right to prevent suffering force or violence through the use of a sufficient level of counteracting force or violence.  This definition is simple enough on its face, but it raises many questions when applied to actual situations.  For instance, what is a sufficient level of force or violence when defending oneself?
As a general rule, self-defense only justifies the use of force when it is used in response to an immediate threat.  The threat can be verbal, as long as it puts the intended victim in an immediate fear of physical harm.

Castle Doctrine
Even in states that require a person to retreat from the threat of imminent harm before defending themselves, a person can often use deadly force against someone who unlawfully enters their home.  This rule, also known as “the castle doctrine,” allows people to defend their homes against intruder through lethal force. The Nays of Texas

This Flyer's Purpose:  Turn 20 Now Red Texas Congressional Districts Blue

Rodge,

This is the front side of a flyer I received in the mail. I knew passing healthcare wouldn't placate the progressives. According to this flyer, the next step to offset the high costs of Obamacare is to pass a $20 an hr minimum wage. The left won't be satisfied until they destroy free-market capitalism.

One thing you can say about the dems that you don't see from the repubs are battle plans. Winning Texas would be huge for them, and I can remember seeing plans to turn Tx blue about 5 years ago. The repubs just seem to be satisfied with whatever they win, and have an image of not only not planning, but not even fighting back. At the nat'l level the party is controlled by the RINO faction, and fight with the dems against conservatives.

Drummer Rick

Yeah, well everything is larger than life in Texas, and that includes blatant political crime.  Democrats brazen enough to steal a US Senate seat for LBJ; steal a presidential election from Richard Nixon (which ultimtely led to President LBJ ); who regularly indict political enemies on trumped up charges; who help engineer the most massive invasion of illegals in—hellworld history?—in order to nullify the American vote;  well, they are capable of anything.  Only solution I can think of is to nuke Austin Texas., which would be quite illegal, unfortunately.  But, then, this is Texas. Hey, I know.  When I was a kid there were tricks to save people in just such a predicament!

Obama's assault on Israel is a moral outrage
(if one has morals to begin with)

During the 2008 presidential election, as skeptics of Barack Obama questioned his support for Israel, his campaign, with help from media allies, pursued an aggressive counteroffensive. The strategy was to delegitimize reasonable criticism of Obama’s record by lumping it together with zany conspiracy theories from fringe figures and anonymous Internet commenters.

[Atlantic’s Jeffrey] Goldberg boasted that Netanyahu was essentially suckered by Obama into holding off on an attack that could have prevented Iran from becoming a nuclear power.
Weeks before the election, the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg wrote a post titled, “Dear Jews: Stop the Obama Paranoia.” He urged, “all you rumor-mongering, fever-headed Jewish conspiracists: Support McCain, if you want, and there are credible reasons for doing so, but stop smearing Obama in the face of overwhelming evidence that the man is a great friend of Jews and of Israel. After a point, it becomes obvious that what you fear is not Israel's destruction, but the presence of an African-American in the White House. And that's disgusting.”

But critics of Obama have unfortunately been vindicated. [Full]

There really is nothing new to be saidI'm just piling at this pointbut I imagine there will be Hollywood Jew enablers of Obama who will someday be surprised to realize what they've done. But they won't blame themselves.

NJ COPS SHUT DOWN GEEZER 10¢ BINGO

Police State

TEXT
Is this the worst person in America?*

[...] That former employee — nicknamed by me just now as the Elder Skelter — told New Jersey’s gaming commission that “illegal activity” was going down at Pleasant View — an underground bingo game with a 10-cent per card buy-in and a three-card maximum— New Jersey’s Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission made the decision to drop the hammer.

Residents of Pleasant View Village can no longer play their beloved 10-cent games with non-residents, and they cannot play at all when the Meals on Wheels program is in the building three days a week. In fact, the Meals on Wheels program now requires a permit to allow bingo games while they are in the building. [FullStory]

Just a guess, but with the collapse of the Atlantic City gambling industry, the Garden State is fife with Games of Chance Control Commission hangers-on desperate to protect their sinecure. It's what happens when bureaucrats are threatened with shrinkage.

Dana Long, Arrested 'Crat

"He was arrested this morning. His name is Dana Long and he is Bethany Hall-Long's husband, Delaware State Senator and Democrat."

Okay, small potatoes compared to stuff like Jaw-Dropping Study Claims Large Numbers of Non-Citizens Vote in U.S., but this is one guy doing all he can (without using firearms) to contain these lawless Democrats.  Yes, Democrats;  from stem to stern, top to bottom; they are a cancer. Cheers on him!

Liberals have this terrible habit ...

Liberals have this terrible and annoying habit of congratulating themselves for their intellectual heft merely because they hold liberal views. Once this arrogant notion reigns, it's tough for liberals to acknowledge when one of their own says something so remarkably untrue and stupid that it makes you wonder just how ignorant is the liberal really. -- L. Brent Bozell III

That lede from Hillary Clinton Flunks Economics is so good I want to gild it and put it in a glass case.  The story itself is only another example of stupid things Hillary Clinton gets away with; e.g.

At an event for Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley in Boston on Oct. 24, Hillary Clinton told the assembled Democratic faithful:
"Don't let anybody tell you that, you know, it's corporations and businesses that create jobs."

I'm adding it to my (now 5) favorite Hillary Quotes:
  1. "We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
  2. "God bless the America we are trying to create."
  3. "I have to confess that it's crossed my mind that you could not be a Republican and a Christian."
  4. "Come on Bill, put your dick up!  You can’t fuck her here!!” (to Gov. Clinton when she spots him talking with an attractive female).
  5. Don't let anybody tell you that, you know, it's corporations and businesses that create jobs.

Birds of a Feather

Looking for the soft side here boss .....

“As far as Barack Obama is concerned, he doesn’t care who wins the Senate,” Limbaugh said on his national broadcast Tuesday. “When it’s all said and done, it isn’t gonna change what he’s doing. I think everybody ought to buckle up for Obama in these last two years.”

Limbaugh said once January arrives, it isn’t going to matter which political party will be in charge of the Senate:

“He’s gonna executive action, executive order as much as he thinks he can get away with. And he’s gonna go, I think, at NASCAR break-neck speeds. And don’t think he’s gonna care what they say in the Senate, I don’t think he’s gonna care what they do in the Senate because he knows the one thing they won’t do is impeach him.

“And so Obama’s gonna tell himself, ‘There’s no way they’re gonna stop me.’ He’s gonna tell himself, ‘They won’t even try to stop me. They may try to stop me by not giving me the votes, but what do I care? I’m gonna sign executive actions. I’m gonna have [Ebola czar] Ron Klain out there leading the way for me.’”
