Early Electoral Map

According to *Newsweek* at the time, "John Anderson’s impact on the race was largely overshadowed by the broad-based Reagan landslide. It was in one sense tempting to view him as a spoiler; Anderson’s vote was actually greater than Reagan’s margin of victory in thirteen states, among them New York, Wisconsin, North-Carolina and Connecticut. But had Anderson not run, Carter would have picked up barely half (49 per cent) of his vote; 37 per cent of Anderson voters said they would have backed Reagan." Since I see a parallel between Trump-Clinton? & 1980's Reagan Carter contestboth being  the worst president in history at the timeCarter is now 3rdI've included the polling history above.  In that race Reagan (32%) trailed Jummy (39%) in early June/July.  By early August Reagan was up  45% - 29%.  That lead that dropped to 47% - 44% on election day.  But, Reagan won 51% - 41%,  winning all but four states (including Maryland), and DC.  The term "silent majority' was born, and has driven Democrats nuts ever since (leading to  the Left's war against the "Christian coalition."  Anyway, bookmark this so you can give me the raspberries after the election, or marvel at my political prescience.

Answer: NO

By Dr. Thomas Sowell

However great the shock of the massacre in Orlando, it is only a matter of time before we start hearing again the fact-free dogma that "diversity is our strength."

If there is any place in the Guinness Book of World Records for words repeated the most often, over the most years, without one speck of evidence, "diversity" should be a prime candidate.

Today, that sense of American unity is being undermined by the reckless polarization of group identity politics. That affects not only how Americans see themselves, but how others in our midst see America.
Is diversity our strength? Or anybody's strength, anywhere in the world? Does Japan's homogeneous population cause the Japanese to suffer? Have the Balkans been blessed by their heterogeneity — or does the very word "Balkanization" remind us of centuries of strife, bloodshed and unspeakable atrocities, extending into our own times?

Has Europe become a safer place after importing vast numbers of people from the Middle East, with cultures hostile to the fundamental values of Western civilization?

"When in Rome do as the Romans do" was once a common saying. Today, after generations in the West have been indoctrinated with the rhetoric of multiculturalism, the borders of Western nations on both sides of the Atlantic have been thrown open to people who think it is their prerogative to come as refugees and tell the Romans what to do — and to assault those who don't knuckle under to foreign religious standards.

[...]

The recent wave of refugees flooding into Europe include Muslim men who have been haranguing European women on the streets for not dressing modestly enough, not to mention their sexual molestation of those women.

Smug elites in Europe, like their counterparts in America, are not nearly as concerned about such things as they are about preventing "Islamophobia." Legal restrictions on free speech in some European countries make it a crime to sound the alarm about the dangers to the culture and to the people.

In the lofty circles of those who see themselves as citizens of the world, it is considered unworthy, if not hateful, to insist on living according to your own Western values or to resist importing people who increase your chances of being killed.

stuff I think about

JMJ

This is the testimony of college professor and atheist Howard Storm who while on vacation in Paris France had a perforation in his stomach and died. He had a NDE and when he died he was surrounded by demons jinns who tortured him, but suddenly remembered a prayer was saved and was revived. After seeing hell and jinn he changed.

On June 1, 1985, at the age of 38, Howard Storm, a Professor of Art at Northern Kentucky University, had a near-death experience due to a perforation of the stomach and his life was forever changed he lives to tell his story.

Here's Part Two

This particularly resonates with me because my wife, over years of working as an RN in Hospice, Critical Care, and surgical wards, witnessed quite a few incidents along these lines.  Some are still so terrifying that she has difficuly relating them; i.e. One of her patients, a nice man, near death, suddenly jumped out of his bed.  The look on his face was hideous, and he "hissed," then made nightmarish guttural noises before throwing his arms in the air, swatting away, yelling "OKAY I'M COMING!" And dropped dead.

I sparred with Muhammad Ali

Hillary Clinton: I sparred with Muhammad Ali
Presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has paid tribute to boxing legend Muhammad Ali, recalling how she sparred with the three-time world champion in the early 1970s.

“I remember back in 1970 when the Nixon administration had banned him from boxing. I would often spar with him to keep him fresh, you know, keep him on his toes,” Clinton recalled.

And that wasn’t the only Clinton family connection to the man known as “The Greatest” to fans around the world.

“My daughter Chelsea was an au pair to his children at the same time. They used to call her mammy,” said Clinton.

“I remember the day Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot. I was eating fried chicken and watermelon with Muhammad’s mother. She wept uncontrollably into my shoulder. I still have that tear-stained dress.”

“And I just remembered that my middle name is Muhammad and that name was actually given to me by my parents in homage to Mr. Ali,” Clinton went on.

“After all, what nobler calling could an African-American have than to beat the crap out of another African-American for the amusement of white people, giving themselves permanent brain damage,” said Clinton.
“Another thing I just remembered,” said Clinton, “is that on 9/11 when I went into the South Tower to rescue Chelsea, Muhammad was there with me, and he took my hand and led me up those 398 floors.”

The Pennsylvania Democrat plans to meet with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community leaders in Pittsburgh on Monday to discuss "steps the United States government must take immediately to address safety concerns across the country from commonsense gun laws to ongoing acts of hate," according to a statement from Casey's office.
Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle offered their condolences and expressed outrage at the attacks.

  • Republicans tended to cite the need to boost counterterrorism efforts
  • Democrats called on Congress to act to prevent gun violence.
....
Casey, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said in a statement that the attack highlighted the need to protect Americans from terrorists and address gun violence. The Orlando attack is the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

[ Republicans and Democrats Diverge After Orlando Attack ]

"While we are still learning about the shooter's motivation, this is an act of terror and yet another mass shooting in our nation," Casey said. "It is also an attack on the LGBT community."

So how is Trump's Pocahontas remark racist? (vanity)

Donald Trump continues to call Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" and is being called a racist for doing so. So let's go through this charge in a straightforward and logical way, a way which escapes too many Americans, particularly liberals.

Elizabeth Warren lied on her college admission aplications that she was native American even though she has no Native American ancestry. Elizabeth Warren is Lilly white. Warren claims one side of her family has Indian descendents and then flip flops and says the other side has them. Elizabeth Warren will not release genealogical records.

It's obvious Warren is a fraud. It's also obvious that the fraud perpetrated was racist in nature.

So how did Trump come to be called racist? Trump called a white women a famous Indian name to shame her for perpetuating a clearly racist fraud. Trump did not disparage Pocahontas in the least. Trump disparaged Elizabeth Warren, the lilly white fraud.

So how is Trump racist again? How stupid and cowardly are the people calling him racist?

I think the answer is obvious and that the press and the political class are perpetuating fraud.

The "If the Republicans disarm.." pic is based on a meme that's flying about.  The quote is Joseph Stalins; embraced by Pocahontas.

Paul Ryan’s ex-flame and last love of his life before getting married to Janna Little was his ex-girl friend and black American Democrat Daneeta Pope. She too voted for Obama twice and also supports his Communist Agenda.

Janna comes from a Democratic family. Her cousin, Dan Boren, was a Democratic Representative for Oklahoma from 2005 to 2013. Dan’s father, David Boren, was the 21st governor of Oklahoma from 1975 to 1979. Dan’s grandfather, Lyle Boren, was a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1937 to 1947. Janna’s grandfather, Reuel Little, helped found a third party called the American Party in Oklahoma in 1968. He ran for governor in 1970 but didn’t win, ABC News reported.

Paul Ryan’s decisions and thought processes are a reflection of his spouse’s mindset. Mrs. Ryan is a life long Democrat who is pushing Obama’s agenda through her husband. And of course a happy life is a happy wife.
Janna herself has lobbied for liberal movements, such as marching in Washington in college for women’s rights, The New York Times reported. Janna rarely gives interviews, CNN reported, and doesn’t speak publicly about her political views.

Speaker Paul Ryan will not operate his family unit and make decisions that will cause friction and go against the will of his wife. [FULL STORY]

9th Circuit ruling ....

9th Circuit ruling on 2A opens
door to open carry push

While Judge Fletcher couches his words with “if,” it seems inescapable that the Second Amendment’s affirmation of a “right to keep and bear arms” must apply to some form of carry. Otherwise, how could someone “bear” arms?

Judge Fletcher’s 52-page majority opinion detailed the history behind concealed carry prohibitions dating back to colonial times and even to England. But it repeatedly stresses that carrying openly was not an issue on the table.
Buried in the text of a ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that the Second Amendment does not protect the carrying of concealed handguns in public is a potential landmine for anti-gunners that nobody saw coming.

On page 51, in the second paragraph, Judge William A. Fletcher, a Bill Clinton appointee, observed, “The 2nd Amendment may or may not protect to some degree a right of a member of the general public to carry a firearm in public. If there is such a right, it is only a right to carry a firearm openly.”

While Judge Fletcher couches his words with “if,” it seems inescapable that the Second Amendment’s affirmation of a “right to keep and bear arms” must apply to some form of carry. Otherwise, how could someone “bear” arms?

Predictably, anti-gunners have seized on the ruling as an opportunity to challenge right-to-carry statutes. One Washington state lawmaker, Sen. Reuven Carlyle, a Seattle Democrat, reportedly indicated to KIRO News that the ruling should open the door for lawmakers in Olympia to adopt a “good cause” requirement for obtaining a concealed pistol license. Such requirements have allowed authorities in New York, New Jersey, Maryland and now California the ability to deny law-abiding citizens their right of self-defense outside the home.

Currently, more than 541,000 Washington citizens hold concealed pistol licenses. That number has been rising steadily for more than two years at an average of about 2,500 CPLs each month. The ruling has infuriated gun rights activists. [full text]

Trump Seen As Vehicle To Destroy GOP
“This party must be destroyed,” Tarpley said, referring to the Republicans.

Those participating included the Democratic Socialists of America (which supported Barack Obama and now Bernie Sanders), the Southern Poverty Law Center, representatives of the governments of Cuba and Venezuela, the “Exonerate Ethel Rosenberg” campaign, CodePink, the Palestine Solidarity Committee, the Workers World Party, the Trans Queer Liberation Movement, and the Greek Communist Party.

While showing an image of Donald Trump as a wrecking ball, veteran leftist operative Webster Tarpley told the recent Left Forum in New York City, “If we play this right, he can destroy the Republican Party.” The comments, delivered at the major left-wing gathering of the year, reflect the belief among “progressive” activists that the Donald J. Trump candidacy can be used to destroy the Republican Party and usher in a major period of Democratic Party rule, under the increasing influence of an openly socialist faction.

“This party must be destroyed,” Tarpley said, referring to the Republicans.

Tarpley’s analysis of the political scene takes on additional significance as we see evidence of communists and Mexican nationals protesting outside Trump rallies and assaulting Trump
However, left unsaid in his presentation is whether after Mrs. Clinton is presumably done with her first term as president, she could be challenged for another term by the Sanders wing of the party, possibly represented at that time by Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
supporters. Tarpley’s audience was the Left Forum, which is described as “the largest annual conference of a broad spectrum of left and progressive intellectuals, activists, academics, organizations and the interested public.” The theme for this year’s event was “Rage, Rebellion, Revolution: Organizing Our Power.”

A former operative in the movement led by Lyndon H. LaRouche, an aging Marxist ideologue who served time in prison on fraud charges, Tarpley is viewed by the left as an expert on the class struggle that defines the evolution of the American political system. He has been a prominent figure in the so-called 9/11 Truth Movement, which blames unnamed U.S. officials for carrying out the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. He is today associated with the Tax Wall Street Party, a group backing the Sanders proposal to raise taxes on financial transactions in order to finance a socialist super state.

Drawing on historical sources and stories about turmoil in the Trump campaign and the GOP, Tarpley predicted that Trump’s candidacy will divide the Republicans and result in one of its factions merely surviving as a regional party based in the Deep South, rural areas, and the intermountain West. However, he said the party itself has become so dependent on “aging white men,” a shrinking percentage of the electorate, that it may be “demographically doomed” in the long term.

..........

With the Republican Party out of the way, the activists making up the Left Forum would be able to consolidate their power in the Democratic Party and move it even further to the left, in terms of more socialism at home and more accommodation of “anti-imperialist” and “anti-capitalist” forces abroad. [Full "Trump Seen As Vehicle To Destroy GOP"]

The GOP is not going to be destroyed.  Larry Kudlow expresses what we all hope will happen however; "Overthrow the 'Establishment' to Fix the Economy."  To give Obama and the Democrats their due; eight years ago Barry jumped through hoops, trying to deny his ties with leftist radicals like Bill Ayers and rats under the rug like Frank Marshall Davis.  Now they have no trouble walking in the daylight. With luck, Trump can bring in a new congress that will renew the House Un-American Activities Committee.  I mean this in the good way.

Just the regular kind

While two families were waiting in line to see the Washington Monument, their two five-year-old boys were getting acquainted.

"My name is Joshua. What is yours?" asked the first boy.

"My daddy is a doctor. What does your daddy do for a living?" asked Joshua.

Adam proudly replied, "My daddy is a lawyer."

"Honest??" asked Joshua.

"No, just the regular kind." replied Adam.
