The C-Roll Stash

It's on the 3rd floor of do-me suite
At Blue Jays  hotel.
"Heartbreak Hotel" Track

The SkyDome sex was a recurring problem, thanks to persistent guests of the Renaissance Hotel—the room windows looked right out onto the field. From an undated Slam! Sports article:

Since it opened in 1989, there have been at least three incidents at the hotel where couples were having sex in plain view of tens of thousands of fans, as well as one incident when a man was thrown out of the hotel for masturbating at the window, believing it was one-way glass.

"We have a unique product here. Obviously, in hotel rooms around the world, who knows what happens. But here, it's kind of like a fishbowl," [Dan, director of operations for Renaissance] Woodburn said.

For stats nuts, the Blue Jays are 2-3 when hotel guests are caught getting naked or getting it on.

I  watched a Jays-Oriole  game the year the Sky-Dome opened.  The camera panned the hotel and a woman  wearing a slip was visible in one of the rooms. The announcer-I think Jim Palmer- said "We'd better watch what we're broadcasting here," and related the sexcapade that had just recently made news (the first of three times)."  Anyway, I stumbled across this site that somehow got hold of the full feed of many original, erm, candid broadcast videos from various sport venues.  They are quite candid, so needless to say "NSFW."

New York’s mayoral contest effectively ended when the first poll of the general election showed unapologetic business-bashing left-wing Democrat Bill de Blasio destroying Republican moderate Joseph Lhota by nearly a three to one margin, 65 percent to 22.

At this point, not even a sexting scandal could cost de Blasio the mayoralty, despite his absurdly thin resume: His biggest job to date, the ceremonial post of New York City Public Advocate, handles a budget of $2.3 million. That’s about 1/30,000th of the budget of the city of which he is about to be elected mayor.  [Full Gruesomeness]

And the downside to watching NYC commit suicide is?  So they bail; but to where?  Fleeing NY Liberals have already poisoned bordering regions.  Maybe Detroit can be designated like a leper colony?  A place where the "diseased" can be segregated from healthy economies.  It won't be as nice as, say Molokai, Hawaii,  but lepers were innocent victims; New Yorkers are willingly ignorant and stuck on stupid.  Am I right?

The natural reaction of Americans will be,I think, to bridle over this, but Allah Pundit explains why Schultz is one smart cookie (excerpt).

What’s interesting to me is that it’s obvious Schultz has no fear of guns (nor should he; when’s the last time there was a mass-shooting at a Starbucks perpetrated by someone with an open-carry permit?). No. He fears the left. And he doesn’t fear the right.

These are all sensible positions for him to take…

The left … does the politicized life exceptionally well. They mount campaigns to pressure corporations to get what they want. They organize boycotts. They direct their complaints to gatekeepers who share their views and can influence policy. They blacklist artists with whom they disagree and pressure corporations to do the same. They control the levers of the media to add additional pressure from newspapers and television networks.

"He fears the left. And he doesn’t fear the right."   That's another matter that needs attending to, but I vote to support his policy.  I must admit, however, to admiring the manly balls displayed by Chic-Filet's CEO against the "same-sex marriage" thugs.  Old School is where we want to be,

Judge-‘No one should have guns’

Connecticut judge declares ‘No one should have guns’

Res Ipsa Loquitor
September 18, 2013
A Superior Court judge in Bristol “expressed his contempt for the right to keep and bear arms’ in a closed door meeting in his chambers, the state gun rights group Connecticut Carry reported last Thursday in a media advisory. Judge Robert C. Brunetti “exposed his bigotry for fundamental civil rights in front of at least three defense attorneys,” the group explained.

“No one in this country should have guns,” the judge reportedly stated, adding “I never return guns.”

“A judge’s role is to be impartial and to render verdicts, rulings and judgments based upon law and case law, certainly not personal opinion,” the press release continued. “Judge Brunetti has clearly decided to lead an anti-rights crusade under color of his judicial position and it must end.” [Full]

We have a lot of problems, but are any worse than crooked cops and/or judges?  There's nowhere to turn, save vigilantism. Give us a summary of any case; the judge's politics; and we can 9 in 10 times guess the verdict.  If the judge was put on the bench by Carter, Clinton or Obama, make that 10 of 10, and rarely will their judgment meet constitutional muster.  Brunetti deserves to by yanked off the bench today. Give me an "F" ...

NBC News quoting law enforcement officials revealed Thursday that Aaron Alexis, who murdered 12 people in the Washington Navy Yard this week, created a webpage in the name of “Mohammed Salem.” The officials said “he never did anything with it” and they found nothing else that “might indicate any interest in violent jihad or even Islam.” So how would they describe the deadly attack on the Navy facility - if not “violent jihad?”

The Band of Brothers; Where are they now?

Very interesting, and surprising in some cases, but what about PrivateAllen Vest?  What has he been up?

As seen
Censured Roll Over is still, er, explicit, so be aware.

According to The Guardian, 9 Songs is the most sexually explicit mainstream film to date, largely because it includes several scenes of real sex between the two lead actors (Even Jeremy Clakson alluded to it on a Top Gear episode). The film is unusual in that it features its lead actors, Margo Stilley and Kieran O'Brien, having unsimulated and very graphic sex, including genital fondling, masturbation with and without a vibrator (including even a footjob in a bathtub scene), penetrative vaginal sex, cunnilingus and fellatio. During a scene in which Stilley masturbates O'Brien's penis after performing fellatio on him, O'Brien became the only actor who has been shown ejaculating in a mainstream, UK-produced feature.  (Wikipedia)

I stumbled upon 9 Songs using Netflix (since removed, at least from instant watch) without having any indication about what it was about. I have to say that if it's possible to make a porn film that doesn't leave one feeling a bit dirty and defiled for having watched it; this is it.  In fact, it borders on being a chick flic, but not one I would suggest to MoSup ( although I think if she stumbled across it in her lonesome, she would watch for more than a bit).  Even the music began to grow on me after the 12th or 13th viewing.  Really.

U.S. History Textbook Guts the Second Amendment
Res Ipsa Loquitor
Author John J. Newman has some explaining to do. His textbook, United States History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination, literally rewrites the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.

On page 102 of Newman’s book (page 134 of the PDF version), the author cuts the Second Amendment in half and leaves out several key words. [Full]

The article comments say it all - here's a few

I'm a law school professor who has taught a Con Law seminar on the Second Amendment for over 20 years, was cited by Justice Scalia in the Heller opinion, and can read English.

John Newman is not ignorant. He's perpetrating a fraud.

Like Soviet propagandists, he knows that a lie, repeated often enough, will become imbedded in the open minds of children. And, once, imbedded, no amount of truth can remove it. As this instance demonstrates, public education has become nothing but indoctrination in left-wing views.

WTF?? I'm not even going to object to bias of the butchery. Rather, why in the hell does ANYONE think it's appropriate to "summarize" something as short as the Bill of Rights?

Any teaching of the Bill of Rights should start WITH THE BILL OF RIGHTS!! Not with the Living Bible / Reader's Digest / Cliff Note's version. The summary does violence to the First Amendment as well, and I don't doubt it abuses the others also.
1 day ago  Like (18) Link To Comment
The anti-2nd Amendment community has for a long time deliberately misread the amendment, to the point of ignoring the logic structure of the sentence.

The structure is this:

This is a benefit derived from X; the rights to X shall not be infringed.

To read it in any different context requires deliberate, intentional ignorance.

For example; suppose we said:

"Healthy bones being good for children, the right of children to drink milk shall not be infringed".

The "progressive" read of that sentence, taken as they read the 2nd amendment, would be: "Only children with healthy bones are allowed to drink milk".

Excuse me, but you have to be a real **** to interpret that sentence that way.

You can see immediately where this is going.  An NPR "special series" on guns in America.  Did I say NPR?  The thing is,  I've been holding this for a week; it was originally published last March, pre-dating the "Navy-Yard" shootings, so that's not what compels me.  What does is having another exemplar of Liberal writing about guns.

Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson here looks at Switzerland- whoops
"Gun Loving" Switzerland," an immediate tip-off to mindset.   She is not a fan. So, what's good and bad about gun loving Switzerland?.  Read it.  See if you can find the "hasn't worked."  I found these.
  • Swiss — like Americans — are grappling (oft used Liberal fun word for unsubstantiated predicates with the question of gun control these days after shooting attacks like one on Feb. 27 that killed four people in a factory outside Lucerne.
  • Firearm deaths in Switzerland take place at just one-seventh the rate that they occur in the United States. But researchers say guns are often used in suicides and crimes of passion in Switzerland. (OMFG! Is she saying that with no access to guns there would be no suicides?)
  • Gun control advocates argue Swiss authorities have lost track of too many of these military-issued guns, which account for most of the 2.5 million-plus guns in Switzerland. (That's what "gun control advocates do you twit.  Else they would not be  gun control advocates. )
Here are a few of the good.
  • "Gun politics in Switzerland are unique in Europe. Switzerland does not have a standing army, instead opting for a people's militia for its national defense." (Wiki)
  • "It's a tradition that some historians say kept the Nazis from trying to overrun Switzerland during World War II."(Article)
What an awkward sentence.  "It's a tradition that some historians say ..." What does  that mean"Tradition;" "Some historians?"  If you're going to throw in that qualifier, then I  expect a citation for historians who omit that tradition.  And does not mentioning something automatically mean dissent?  Of course not.

I think the reader will find that the "what's worked" column dominates this article.  Even if the reader is not aware that tax payer subsidized NPR is a nest of cloistered Liberals, with little knowledge of the other side of any issue they advocate; and that they make shit up, a lot;  the reader will like and admire the gun happy Swiss.  Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson was not able to make a sow's ear from a silk purse.

Roy Benavidez

Roy Benavidez was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions West of Loc Ninh, South Vietnam in May of 1968. When word that a squad was pinned down by enemy fire Roy Benavidez immediately volunteered to exact their rescue. During the course of the effort he subjected himself to constant enemy fire and suffered numerous injuries, but still led the remaining soldiers to protect and defend their position even after their first rescue helicopter was shot down.

I truly do not remember the last time I experienced full body chill like I did watching this. Reached its apex the moment Ronald Reagan began speaking.  Like Ron "I Metzer in St Louis" impertinently instructed me, "Watch it!  That's an Order."

DID GEORGE H.W. BUSH WITNESS JFK ASSASSINATION?
FBI files, newspaper ad and curious photos raise questions

Res Ipsa Loquitor

FBI Special Agent Graham Kitchel wrote the memo to the FBI’s Houston bureau, dated Nov. 22, 1963, the day of the assassination.
[...]
But in the last paragraph, Graham confirmed that Bush was going to be at the Sheraton-Dallas Hotel in Dallas on the day of the assassination, returning to his residence in Houston the next day.

Some researchers – noting the discrepancy that the Dallas Morning News claimed Bush would be at the Sheraton-Dallas on Thursday night, Nov. 21, 1963, while the Kitchel memo suggests Bush would be at the hotel on the night of the assassination – have speculated that Bush made the call to establish an alibi.

Russ Baker, author of the 2009 book “Family of Secrets,” observed: “In summary, then, Bush called in a pointless tip about an innocent fellow to an FBI agent whom he knew, and whom he knew could be counted on to file a report on this trip – out of what may have been hundreds of calls, some of them not even worthy of documenting, and, after a cursory investigation, the tip was confirmed as useless.”

It's my belief that JFK was killed by an amalgam of Mafia-CIA operatives for reasons ranging from the Bay of Pigs betrayal, Bobby Kennedy's war on the Mafia, especially Carlos Marcellus and Jimmy Hoffa, and fear about what JFK was doing in Vietnam, especially the Diem assassinations and talk of folding our hand.  And remember, it is a certainty that JFK stole the 1960 election from Nixon with help from the Chicago mafia, and LBJ's South Texas machine.  That said, I would not be at all surprised if there was substance here.  For instance, I have always found it interesting that when Richard Nixon was asked where he was that day, he responded "I don't recall,"  which would make him the only person in the nation who did not.   Some reports placed him in the office building across from the Book Depository.  But that's not what this is about.*

Res Ipsa LoquitorI'm interested in what the lame-streamers do with this info from Jerome Corsi.  If you'll remember, Corsi was dogged in tracking down the truth about Obama's birth certificate.  On the eve of his book's publication,  the Obamas released the so called "full birth certificate."  It was immediately seen to be a forgery, but no matter. Corsi's book sales suffered,  and the Obamas announced they would no longer answer any more questions about birth certificates, or school transcripts.  The media of course then put a lid on all subsequent attempts to arrive at the truth (not that they had done much in the first place) .

Associating an ex-Republican president to the assassinated and sainted JFK will, I'm certain, elicit a good deal of positive interest from Liberals than did "birther" Corsi.  I would not be surprised if Sixty-Minutes, which only investigates Republican administrations, suddenly comes alive on this issue.

*Aside- I once shared my JFK  theories with someone I suspected of having CIA connections, and he responded "What if the Good Guys killed JFK?"
