Everyone was asking why, after all the embarrassment in the past, Anthony Weiner would risk more behavior like sexting and posting genitalia photos he sent to underage girls. He knew that if he was investigated for a federal crime, his phone and computer would be seen, along with any Huma and Hillary e-mails on them. Had he just turned the e-mails over to the cops or FBI, he knew they would disappear and his life would be in jeopardy. But this way, those e-mails seem like collateral damage. If so, that could put a whole new wrinkle into this case, though it might be kept quiet. There might be something there, since a lot depends on how stupid Huma thinks Weiner is. That may be pretty stupid, since there are said to be tens of thousands of e-mails pertaining to the Clinton case. She may have simply felt that he was so stupid that he wouldn't open the cache himself, nor stumble on any password or other protection. Will the FBI tell us if there is something like that in the e-mails? I'm not sure. Huma is said to be in hiding since this broke. Indeed. And if there is serious communication between her and the Muslim Brotherhood of a mission-oriented character, she may well be getting ready to flee the country. OK, now here's a question. We know Comey wasn't willing to stand up to AG/DOJ, Lynch. Now he comes out with another investigation that presumably would go through her to prosecute. What has changed? Has she given her OK? Is this a ruse to suck in Republicans? Has he decided to run out the clock till 20JAN, when Lynch leaves office but he remains at the FBI? skoonj Very good questions skoonger.  What adds a bit of credence to yours,  is "Vice President Biden calls James Comey ‘a straight guy,’ despite being a Republican. Obama Using Federal Funds to Push Urban Poor into Middle-Class Suburbs cuzzin ricky In the late 60's HUD did something similar in D.C.  There was a tony little apartment building on Wisconsin Ave, amidst embassies,  and just south of the very chic Chevy Chase.  The agency decided to force ( I forget how; maybe the building was in financial straights) owners to turn it into welfare haven.  Lot of dissent, but HUD brought the  hammer down and, lickety-split, the building was home to some very poor Black families.  Right out of the box they screamed bloody murder because [Duh] the only supermarket in the area was an upscale, "International"  Safeway that catered to the embassy crowd, selling caviar, whole pigs, and Filet mignon.  At very high prices.  The same problem existed with other shops.  I remember that after a spate of news stories in the Washington Post and Washington Star, it all just went away. Probably because the local muck-a-mucks grew tired, and slapped a lid on the whole affair. So, there's that example.

Obamasized Girl Scout Cookies We've been buying GS Cookies forever.  A few days ago the neighbor girl scout delivered this year's order.  Like everything else for the past 8 years, the price is constant ($3/Box), but the cookie size shrinks.  But, this year is a shrink too far. They are very close to being just half the size of last year's.  Not only that, the Shortbread cookie is so thin it broke when I picked one up.  And not only that, they taste like Animal Crackers, not Shortbread.  Why am I telling you this?  I don't know. If you ordered, you already know this.  If you didn't order, you can't until next year.  Next year, I will tell the little darlings that peddle the cookies, that, no!  But I will pay you $3 to shine my shoes.

A recurring thought has been; "If  if Trump "loses" this election, it will be a Pyhrric victory for Democrats and allied GOPers."  Why?  Because, looking at the huge crowds, and unprecedented donations Trump/Pence are seeing, there is no way they lose without balls-out vote manipulation.  They would then be in a position where a majority don't accept a Hillary presidency, and are furious about it. We are an armed country.  Massive civil disobedience—hell, even open rebellion could ensue.  Which, all things considered, would justified. That's what I thought, and still think.  But... there is a decent chance that's exactly what the plan is.  The Helter-Skelter trigger, where martial law is imposed, and constitutional protections (that are still observed) will be kaput.  The United States will look like 1930's Spain or Yugoslavia.

Going Along Experimenter Official Trailer We watched the film Experimenter (Netflix).  It's based on the true story of famed social psychologist Stanley Milgram, who in 1961 conducted a series of radical behavior experiments at Yale University that tested the willingness of ordinary humans to obey an authority figure while administering electric shocks to strangers. In the first half of the film, it is shown how the experiments are conducted, with nearly every test subject succumbing to the pressure of the circumstances and administering shocks to a stranger, despite the stranger begging him to stop. Between the experiments, it is shown how Milgram meets Alexandra (or Sasha), who will become his wife and mother of two children. The second half of the film shows how Milgram struggles with the public outcry (by pasty face Liberals of the day who, not willing to confront their own frailties, blame Milgram for tricking them Wiki (My words in italics). Aside: During the film, a clip from Allen Funt's Candid Camera television show is used to buttress Milgram's findings.  Some will remember this and think immediately of Hillary voters. Media News We had lunch with our banker last week, and the inevitable(I ask yearly) question was; "So, when does it all crash?"  He answered with the aplomb one expects from the guy who invests your meager savings, that, well, there will be turbulence after the election, but that will settle down.  If the Republicans lose control of congress things will probably get shaky, but will eventually move smartly forward.  Why?  Because market analysts have dialed in the numbers, every which way; strategies are  in place. So it doesn't matter? Me, if Trump wins?  I detected the slightest fear in his eyes. "It's a whole new ballgame."  Trump's espoused getting rid of NAFTA; getting rid of Dodd-Frank; raising tariffs, etc.  Changing things. This will be new territory, and the market hates the unknown, he says. Me. *Smacks Head*.  Of course.  This is all about not disturbing the market that players are familiar with,  and have invested in.  Status quo; damn the corrupted underbelly behind it. Pass the stale bread, please. We ended our bread and water /Rosary fast yesterday, started primarily because I was so full of hatred that I could scarce function.  Dreaded facing another day where new lies and corruption would be revealed only to be covered over by a corrupt media.  We will begin a new election Novena (9 days) beginning October 30.  This one is for Catholics, but  other denominations  have their own program of prayer to keep the Godless  Hillary forces from prevailing.  Let's face it; our government has already been successfully overthrown.  Wikileaks and common sense prove as much. I urge you to consider using prayer, because this election is a last chance to restore our nation, founded 250 years ago, to  what it was. BTW, I did lose 8 pounds with this last bread and water fast. So, there's that.
