The man needs close watching

Hitler's Mustache

.... just as worrying is that the media is complicit in its lack of coverage.

Last Week Maj. Gen. Michael Carey was personally removed by Obama “due to a loss of trust and confidence in his leadership and judgment.” Gen. Carey is by my count the 6th Flag Officer removed by Obama in the past few years; three of them had personal knowledge of the Benghazi affair.   Carey was in charge of the units responsible for its 450 nuclear missiles.  What's going on?  And don't say nothing.

Is there a real life Seven Days in May scenario brewing?  It sure as hell wouldn't surprise  me.  Here are some comments that resonated with me. Note that all of them cited are from the Brit press.

Peter Kirby, San Rafael, United States, 1 hour ago (Daily Mail):
Does anyone believe this garbage? First, a top nuclear commander is fired for 'using counterfeit poker chips.' Then, another gets fired because of 'alcoholism?' Give me a break. Does anybody look at the Alex Jones website? A.J. has been reporting for about a month that nukes were moved from Dyess AFB. The first nuclear commander was fired on THE DAY the nukes reportedly left the base. Wake up people! This thing stinks to high heaven!!!

Emma, London, United Kingdom, 1 hour ago (Daily Mail):
If you google how many top level US military commanders have been removed, sacked, demoted and killed it is truly frightening and what is just as worrying is that the media is complicit in its lack of coverage. The litmus test for Generals now is will they order troops to fire on US citizens, if they refuse somehow they will be removed (I'm not buying that one - it would leak and could not be ignored)

EngageBrainFirst, Graham, United States, 1 hour ago (Daily Mail):
Okay, we have a Navy Admiral and an Army General relieved "for cause" during the "phony scandal" of Benghazi. Now we have Air Force Generals in charge of nukes relieved "for cause" because of gambling and alcohol, not to mention all the others out there. Why is Obama and his minions going after the US military's senior leadership? There's something that 1) he's afraid of about them 2) he's planning something. Neither choice is very soothing to my worries. More to follow...

I'm not alarmed by any particular plot just yet, but the question we must ask, right NOW, is this.   Are Obama's actions, before and since becoming president ("My Military"), consistent with someone capable of capitol treason against the United State?.  Yes or no?  If yes, and how could it be otherwise, then who but the military can stop him?  And they know it. I'm just saying.  He has to be watched very carefully with this threat in mind, because ... .

A Day At The Grove

Rodge - From the comments section:  "If you listen carefully, you can hear her parents disappointment..."Marc Miller

I liked this for some odd reason.  It did remind me of a story.

When I was at Fort Wolters (Mineral Wells, TX) I used a pass to go to either Fort Worth or Dallas, forget which.  Anyway, we were told that if we wanted to make the acquaintance of the young ladies, wear civvies.  Local girls were wary  of soldier boys and airman.   I went to the PX and bought a  checked short sleeve shirt , and a pair of trousers that were not khaki. Anon, I found myself at some college type bar that a cabbie recommended, and  soon struck up a conversation with a comely lass who, while quite guarded, at least deigned to talk to me. It went something like this.

She went back to a table with her friends,  and soon there came  laughter.  I laughed too. I bought some loafers.  Most interestingly, it was years before I learned where UT was. Didn't care.

It just keeps cummin'

½ of a Bed: MAKE ME AN OFFER!

I’m moving and selling my side of the bed. Well-used, but some of that egg-carton foam would probably fix it right up. My brand new ex-wife still owns the other side of the bed, but don’t worry, she doesn’t seem to mind sharing it with complete strangers.

BONUS: This bed is ALWAYS warm due to it never going more than a few hours without someone being in it! This comes in especially handy if you’re away working out west trying to make enough to cover the mortgage payments.

NOTE: Apparently there’s been like 3 different guys that may be able to claim squatter’s rights on my side of the bed since they spent more time in it than I did. Not sure what the rules are on that.

Send me an offer if you’re interested.

MSNBC has been caught airing a truthful version of events ... Wait!  That would be news. What I mean to say is MSNBC has been caught airing a deceptively edited video of a rally that took place in Washington D.C. over the weekend, in addition to flagrantly lying to its viewers.

Raw footage of the protests outside the gates of the White House showed hyped-up riot police striking and shoving elderly war vets.

However, in a segment produced by MSNBC’s Rachel Madcow, only two-thirds of the footage was shown, making it appear as though veterans initiated the confrontations. And there's more ... [Info Wars]

Liberals Go Hysterical?

Liberals Go Hysterical Over List of 252 Examples of Obama’s Lying, Corruption, and Cronyism

Hysterical?  I don't think so.  Because, unless it's published by some acceptable-to-them  lame-stream pub (NY TIMES), or discussed on MSNBC, or The Daily Show, no Liberal will  know about it.  Infowars had this in August; I don't remember any outrage.

Had it been about Bush, of course, Sixty-Minutes would have been all over it, and Henry Waxman would be holding House Impeachement hearings as we speak.
When the Blue Dress DNA proved Clinton the liar, every one of Clitnton's Cabinet professed utter shock that he had lied to them (none resigned however).   I know people who will argue that Bill Clinton was not impeached (but, that Nixon was).  Liberals then are amoung the most politically ignorant people on Earth.

Still, it's a very nice list to have in the case things go to street justice.

" Speaker John Boehner is considering letting the House take the initial vote Wednesday on a Senate-prepared bill to lift the debt ceiling and restart funding for the shuttered federal government--apparently even if House conservatives object.

If they do object, it would mean Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and her House Democrats could become critical to its passage. "Boehner will need Pelosi votes," said one senior Democratic aide, familiar with what he described as the cross-party negotiations that have been occurring Wednesday morning. "

point of absurdity ...

Ann Coulter returns

Tout ça pour vous Monsieur le Président

In the current fight over the government shutdown, Republicans are simply representing the views of the American people.

Americans didn't ask for Obamacare, they don't want it, but now their insurance premiums are going through the roof, their doctors aren't accepting it, and their employers are moving them into part-time work -- or firing them -- to avoid the law's mandates.

Contrary to Obama's promises, it turns out: You can't keep your doctor, you can't keep your insurance -- you can't even keep your job. In other words, it's a typical government program, but this one wrecks your health care.

Also, the president did raise taxes on the middle class in defiance of his well-worn campaign promise not to. Indeed, Obamacare is the largest tax hike in U.S. history.

Among the other changes effected by this law are:

  • Obamacare will allow insurers to charge 50 percent higher premiums for smokers, but prohibits insurers from increasing premiums for those with HIV/AIDS.
  • Nationally, Obamacare will increase men's individual insurance premiums by an average of 99 percent and women's by 62 percent. In North Carolina, for example, individual insurance premiums will triple for women and quadruple for men.
  •  Health plans valued at $27,500 or more for a family of four will be taxed at a rate of 40 percent.
  •  No doctors who went to an American medical school will be accepting Obamacare.
  • A 62-year-old man earning $46,000 a year is entitled to a $7,836 government tax [Full Wonderfulness]
Why should you have this in your wallet?  Because this is the prevailing argument that even my local rag presents as factual re the CR showdown:

Our say: Government keeps digging holes, then falling in

With important issues stacked up on its docket, Congress has so far spent October allowing the federal government to shut down for lack of a continuing budget resolution. This happened because a minority of hotheads in the House of Representatives had the absurd idea that they could force President Barrack Obama to back down on the health care law that is his signature accomplishment. ...

Techno Kids

Yesterday morning I watched grandson for a few hours.  We're sitting there on the couch and he leaves, then comes running back with his iPad?  Horry Clap.  The kid has an iPad.  But wait!  I know that cover; that's my iPad (that his mom and dad gave me).  He went into the den, unplugged it,  brought it back, booted it up, and in a flash had  fingers rolling through a screen of Micky Mouse cartoons.  What the Hell?  I don't have any Micky Mouse cartoons bookmarked, so how did he do it?  He's only two, so he didn't type in a search.  I filmed it.

When his dad came to pick him up I told him, and he couldn't find it either.  It turned out that when they were here on Sunday,  his mom had used the You Tube icon (that I didn't know was there) and brought up Mickey.  So the next day he just went to You Tube and had at it.  Sheesh.

MSNBC's Anomaly

                      Meet The MSNBC All-Stars

Ready.  Shoot.  Aim.

At 9 p.m. on Monday, MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show beat Fox News' new The Kelly File, hosted by Megyn Kelly, by a slim 10,000 viewers in the key demo.

By Tuesday, though, Fox News was back to its dominant self, with 573,000 in the key demo compared with 261,000 for MSNBC between the hours of 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

It is impossible." Griffin [raged], "I have never seen it. They did election-night numbers in the demo Tuesday." [Full]

Any reasonable person will already know that MSNBC  president Phil Griffin is a loser because, for starters, well, because he's  president of MSNBC.  And just what does "They did election-night numbers ..." mean?  Was he referring to the (defunct ABC owned) Voter News Service that  called Florida for Al Gore in 2000?  While the heavily Republican Florida panhandle was still voting?  Causing Bush to lose a projected 25,000 votes when people went home in despair? Those election night numbers?

Or when four years later
Voter News Service surveys had Kerry significantly ahead in Florida and Ohio, which news was broadcast during election day by networks?

This is another perfect example of  Liberals in general,  and the Democrat media in particular.  Entitlement.  Entitlement to win. At any cost.  If they lose, it had to be about fraud.  Am I right?

So,  when MSNBC All-star Rachael Maddow beat FOX,  for the first time ever, and then fell back into her comfortable loser seat the next night, which  would you think was anomalous?   Wait!  This just in.

The other big question (behind Phil Griffin's back) is,  how long before his Alec Baldwin hire  bursts into flaming rage during his new MSNBC show, and is shipped off to HBO for career life support?

Bizzaro Tomorrows

Bizarre is the new normal

Chroniclers of Pox Obama seem to be in one of three camps.

  1. The  level headed, polite public discourse (sometimes smarmy)  lot.
  2. The mad as hell, but equally informed lynch mob contingent (ahem).
  3. Knee-jerk hypocritical Democrat apologists, also known as useful idiots.
So hideously stressful  have been  the past, going on six-years, that all of us who are compelled to call attention to, or spin,  each new outrage against the rules of legislated and natural law are exhausted by the process.  It's the Clintons times 100.

News that IRS official Sarah Hall Ingram made 155 visits to the White House to meet with a top Obama White House officials, with whom she exchanged confidential taxpayer information, is the latest case to addle brains and damage nerve endings. This may be the last time it's ever mentioned again, disappearing  instead into that pit where  all other criminal and reckless Obamunist acts have gone.

We are officially a lawless nation.

I am, and have been a law abiding citizen for lo these many years, but admit to indulging in obscene fantasies of storming the nation's capitol and hanging, oh,  about 5,000 people. A few hundred of whom are Republicans.  Instead,  I find other ways to amuse myself, some results of which you see on these pages.  None more bizarre than the actualities.  There is no more bizarre, only the daily news.

Shelves in Walmart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, LA were reportedly cleared Saturday night, when the stores allowed purchases on Food Stamp cards even though they were not showing limits.  [Full cart]

Walmart stores stepped into the breach when computers that handled EBT sales crashed.  Panicked consumers were evidently informed en masse by text messages and hopped  immediately into their 4x4s; destination  Wallyworld.  The pic speaks for itself.  When computers suddenly went back on line, one woman was detained because she rang up a bill of $700.00 and only had .49 left on her card.   Others simply left their carts and hot-footed it out.  The modern version of store looting. The chance of restoring this nation to its former glory is now nil.

Kate Smith? Yes!

1955

In real time
I (here) ran across a full broadcast of Kate Smith's television show from December 28, 1955.  Kate Smith?  Yup.  My (and cuzzin ricky's) Granny Lyndeaux had run of the television during weekdays, and every afternoon she watched  Liberace (with brother George),  and  then Kate Smith.  She would actually tear up when Kate sang White Cliff's of Dover, which until now my memory thunked was Kate's theme song.

Granny was a British ex-patriot who used words like shan't and ate with the fork in her left hand.

Anyway,  it's quite likely that I actually watched this program with her.  All those memories flooding back because of one TV show I would never
watch in a million years  today, nor would any kid,  even if granny wanted too.  Selfish little bastids.

MSNBC-WSJ Poll
You probably saw Throw the bums out on Drudge.  Given that it's an MSNBC story, I wanted to see the polling questions (which you can find here).  It stops short of being a  push-pull poll, but as you can see those polled were 44% Obama voters v. 35% Romney voters.  So there's that.

Also in the mix of Drudge headlines today is  GOP approval rating hits lowest point in Gallup poll history. What does that mean?   The world of  good versus evil is traditionally  Republicans v Democrats, but that's now a distortion.  If  voting for a  Republican will get me a George Bush instead of an Al Gore,  or a John Kerry, it's no contest. But distinctions  between the two parties, once in office, are small.  I am Teaparty Republican, a distinction this poll seems to recognize (3)..

Adding then the very positive approval of  Republicans (7) and Tea Party (9)  results in 16-14 edge over the very positive Dem approvals).  The numbers in  (8) similarly give the Teaparty/GOP amalgam a 45-39% win over the Dems.   Obama's 47% approval belies the numbers of other polls that show him at historical lows.

The other tables also speak for themselves here.  I numbered them to make comments easier, if there are to be any.  This poll exercise then is, per usual, nothing more than Democrat Media  making news they can then spin into gold from the fecal matter they began with.

Community Service

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen doughnuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Member of Congress came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Member of Congress was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Members of Congress lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

Here's something of a treasure I happened upon by touching off a hot link on an old post.  It's a Wayback Machine for the Wall Street Journal  on  Friday, October 31, 2003.  Cool.  But what surprised me was that all the links are also confined to that date, so for instance  an article, "Will Success Spoil the Cubs?"  and this Best of the Web tid-bit are saved.

If He Were a Republican, This Would Be Hate Speech--XIV

It turns out the Associated Press account of an Iowa brawl between staffers for Dick Gephardt and Howard Dean, which we noted yesterday, was rather sanitized. Deanie Hunter Allen alleged that the two unnamed Gephardtians "used a derogatory slur," as the AP's Dept. of Redundancy Dept. put it.

The Sioux City Journal adds some crucial detail: "The Dean staff member, 24-year-old Hunter Allen, who is openly gay, said he was called a 'faggot' by a Gephardt staff member after being shoved and escorted out of the event."

The effects are now blatantly obvious even to those who have been asleep at the wheel for decades " - Dr. Ben Carson
airports. The wait in the customs line approached an hour, because there was only one customs agent working as more than 20 of the booths stood empty.

I was told by a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent that this was a result of sequestration and it was designed to inflict maximum inconvenience on travelers so they would realize no part of the federal budget can be cut without horrible consequences. In similar fashion [Dr. Ben’s prescription for shutdown pain]

Dr. Ben Carson (who just went to work for FOX NEWS) captures the essence of what the Democrats are doing—inflicting the most possible pain on the public.  It's here that these thug minded ... thugs have jumped the shark for real.  Here's just the latest in a long series of outrageous actions by Obama's minions.

Mystery man mowing Lincoln Memorial lawn told to move on by park police
People on social media were calling him a hero – the unidentified bearded dude carrying a South Carolina flag mowing the lawn of the Lincoln Memorial Wednesday morning. But park officials told him to move on, and he did.

The image swept social media quickly, where people posted comments like this: “I love this! Somebody find out his name! The web is abuzz with this guy but I haven’t learned who he is yet. But I want my daughter to take note: this is what a real man is like.”

The past few weeks have been one disastrous headline and sound bite  after another for the Obamas; from Harry Reid's "Why would we want to help one kid with cancer?,"  to images of  WWII vets in wheel chairs being locked  out of the WWII memorial. It's this kind of thing that will, hopefully, see Democrats swept out of power next year. Even Low-infos learn about stuff like this.

Meanwhile, people like me who are now operating on primal instinct want to go charging into their ranks with flashing sabers, because the  stark reality is this.  Those Park rangers, wreaking havoc across the nation, were willing to do it.   Willing to act in a manner that one headline called  "Gone Gestapo."  Think about that, and how easily they were turned  for a government paycheck.  Knock Knock.

Hume: ‘Partisan attacks’ from Democrats ‘ugly as I’ve ever seen it’

I'm waiting for a leaked Jay Rockefeller type (Flagrantly Dishonest) memo that advances a Dem strategy to incite actions that would allow martial law to be invoked.  That, or Dems  are convinced they have the media cover to make any playground bullying untouchable (go unreported, and unremarked), and have no fear of public censure.  But, by the by, note the increased use of "Nazi" lingo being applied to Obamuniist Party actions lately; they have become just that obvious. What we need is some good caning going on.

The Daily Show Democrat Shredder?

Shredded?  I've never heard Kathleen Sibelius say anything that didn't smack of double-talk and bullshit.  Ever.  So what would one expect from this administration cow sent off to be milked by farmer Jon?  Shredded?  Michael Savage would have shredded her.
