RE: Holder's Blue Balls
What a Chimp
Nobody with half a brain Huffington Post: could believe the story that on-air news personality compared a public figure to a " monkey with a bright blue scrotum."  Can we agree on that?  Huff PO not only believed it, they repeated without verifying, because it fit the stilted view of FOX NEWS that they themselves have helped perpetuate.  As for me, a minor player in the business,  I can say that Holder is much improved  that way. I always saw him as a dickless asshole.

... taxing how much we drive may replace gasoline tax ...

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood says he wants to consider taxing motorists based on how many miles they drive rather than how much gasoline they burn — an idea that has angered drivers in some states where it has been proposed.

Gasoline taxes that for nearly half a century have paid for the federal share of highway and bridge construction can no longer be counted on to raise enough money to keep the nation's transportation system moving, LaHood said in an interview with The Associated Press.

"We should look at the vehicular miles program where people are actually clocked on the number of miles that they traveled," the former Illinois Republican lawmaker said. [blah-blah-blah]
Hmmm.  Since fuel pump taxes are a defacto monitor of a vehicle's driven miles, the sneaky bastids are up to something.   Ah, I know!

With more energy efficient cars being built, not to mention "Green" cars that substitute coal produced electric for gasoline, state gas tax revenues are poised to plummet.  Under LaHood's (Latin for "the gangster") plan, generated by Diktat Central of course, even if your car runs on pedal power, you'll pay the "fuel tax."

It'll be interesting to see what privacy busting device the swine introduce to get around odometer "tuning."  Maybe employ Obama's civilian Schitzstaffel to read the meters on a daily basis?  No, wait, your car prolly already has a chip that records how far you've driven, when, and your speed.  Supposedly meant for car diagnostics, that. Whatever, you can be sure that your thoughts on the matter will turn very, very black, indeed.  Stopping you from acting on those impulses is the real job of the Schitzstaffel, of course.

New York Post is standing behind cartoon some consider racist

This cartoon image provided by the New York Post appeared in the Post's Page Six on Wednesday. The cartoon, which refers to Travis the chimp, who was shot to death by police in Stamford, Conn. on Monday after it mauled a friend of its owner, drew criticism.

This is funny as hell -- if you're not looking to be offended, which is to say you're not a whining Liberal.  I see a cartoon showing the Scamulus Bill for what it is ... a piece of nonsensical, useless crap only someone with the IQ of a lower primate would execute. As far as Sharpton's "stunned" rage -- yawn³.  See if you can find Rev. Race Bait being stunned by any one of the pointedly racist cartoons the Left penned about Condi Rice.

Democrat Proposes Law Requiring Firearm Owners Have $1,000,000 Insurance Policies

Infowars
Monday, Feb 16, 2009

Illinois — the land of Obama and the Blagojevich mafia — is serious about making the Second Amendment so expensive only the rich will be able to exercise it. Kenneth Dunkin, a former social worker and Democrat member of the Illinois House of Representatives, has introduced HB0687, entitled the “Firearm Owners ID-Insurance” bill. It is currently in the Rules Committee.

Dunkin’s bill amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act, a previous bill aimed at chipping away at the Second Amendment. Dunkin’s amendment states “that any person who owns a firearm in this State shall maintain a policy of liability insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000 specifically covering any damages resulting from negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person.”

Counting the costs
President Obama stakes so much on a package unlikely to revive our economy

It's of some significance, I think, that Maryland's fishwrap of record, The Sun, prints this OP ED analysis of the Stimulus  charade.
Politically, President Barack Obama seems to have dashed many of his major thematic campaign promises in his very first foray into large-scale policymaking. The crafting and selling of the stimulus package haven't been transparent, innovative, calm or bipartisan. The rush to push money out quickly left no time to develop creative new approaches. The president's dire warnings of doom did little to soothe fears, particularly in those who had doubts about the stimulus package's efficacy. And while Mr. Obama was willing to exchange pleasantries with Republicans, those Republicans were largely excluded from the crafting of the bill and voted overwhelmingly against it. Even Mr. Obama's hand-picked "reasonable" Republican, Judd Gregg, found the process unpalatable and withdrew as commerce secretary nominee.
My guess?  A sleepy Sun editor saw "President Obama ... revives our economy" and gave it a green light.

Common Sense
Prelude to Pitchforks
Some of you will remember this.  Gary Plauche, in front of a local television camera, shot and killed the man who kidnapped and sexually molested his son.  Baton Rouge prosecutors knew they couldn't get a conviction, so they offered Plauche  five years probation in return for a guilty plea.  There were two things at work here.  Plauche was driven to near insanity by what his son's karate instructor had done, and the community understood, and shared Plauche's outrage.  Yes, he  was wrong to take the law into his own hands, especially since the law was about to deal with the pedophile.  Don't matter.  If I was on the jury, I'd have voted for "guilty of discharging a firearm in a public place," or acquittal.

What brought this to mind ...?

I didn't go looking for it, it popped into my brain as I read that George Soros, and his Moveon.org leftist vigilantes, are advising Henry Waxman about legislating control of the internet, as part of the "Fairness Doctrine."    Other stuff popped up too, but ...  I forget what that was. You may think of something else too, which is okay.   Just remember --  count on your every public utterance being recorded into your permanent record. These people mean business.

This is  the  best  description of  the  election of  Obama that  I have  seen - TRKOF Jr.
A teacher in the Nashville area writes:

We are worried about "the cow" when it is all about the "Ice Cream"

The most eye-opening civics lesson I've ever had was while teaching third grade this year.  The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.  I decided we would have an election for a class president.

We would choose our nominees.  They would make a campaign speech and  the class would vote.

To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.  We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.  We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia  were picked to run for the top spot.

Reese Witherspoon in 'Election' The class had done a great job in their selections.  Both candidates were good kids.  I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support.  I had never seen Olivia's mother.

The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first.  He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best.  Ev ery one applauded. He sat down and Olivia came to the podium.

Her speech was concise.  She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream."  She sat down.  The class went wild.

"Yes! Yes!  We want ice cream."

She surely would say more.  She did not have to.  A discussion  followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream?  She wasn't sure.  Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it.  She didn't know. The class really didn't care.  All they were thinking about was ice cream.

Jamie was forgotten.  Olivia won by a landslide.

Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, fifty percent of the people react like nine year olds.  They want ice cream.

The other fifty percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean  up the mess.

Ted Kennedy Stories

Real Tales of Ted
Do you have one?

My path crossed Teddy's twice.... both in Washington D.C.   Shortly after getting out of the Army Club Business, I went to work for Schlitz, and our regional office was in Washington D.C. (Rosslyn to be more precise), and it was our practice to have group dining at locations where we wanted to get our "product" placed.  We went to an early dinner at the Palm (19th near M)... and it was the beginning of their dinner service  Teddie and a few cohorts were there, and it looked like they were already in the tank, (as if they had been there since lunch).  They were whooping it up and playing grab ass with the waitresses as they walked by, and making complete asses out of themselves.

The second time was at the Prime on K Street.  He was loudly holding court with 2 other people (I think) at the table... My party sat not far away, and we marveled at how the drinks just kept coming.  They were there before we arrived, and were still there when we left....getting louder and louder.

A real piece of work!

This is the sort of rhetoric Obama  trolls feast on.  Having previously endured eight years of "Clinton Speak, Palin people know that all democrats are  pathological liars, and automatically deconstruct every utterance.   Bills landing on Obama's desk for signature are done deals, so BFD.  It also doesn't matter that not a single democrat read a word of the stimulus bill before rubber stamping it, does it?  It's still law.

There's not a doubt in my mind - yours too -  that the Founding Fathers, looking down from Mount Olympus, are screaming, "Why haven't you overthrown these monsters?"   The answer is, we're old, afraid, and stand at the edge of the pit waiting for our stimulus money.  We're pussies.

No Country For Old Men

A bit of pleasantry

Obama's "Republican Guard"

It was an ill wind that brought us il-douchbag

"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."  Barry Hussein Obama, July 17, 2008

il-douchebagBy far, the most chilling of then candidate Obama's campaign proposals, was his call for establishment of an alternative domestic military force.  Some suggested that it was "about turning America into one, giant, community organizer's sandbox at enormous cost to taxpayers."   That would be bad enough, but it could be much worse.
  • " just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
Can someone explain what that means?  The Posse Comitatis Act has been eroded to being "a procedural formality rather than an actual impediment to the use of U.S. military forces in homeland defense " [Trebilcock].  However, even under it's original intent, the 1878 law allowed for military use as a domestic police force in extraordinary circumstances, as expressly authorized by  Congress.  So what's this really about?  Given Obama's association with people who advocated concentration camps, and the extermination of we who didn't embrace their ideology, it would be reckless not to consider what's actually on this Marxist's - Obama's - mind.

Now, Doug Ross asks,  Was Candidate Obama's "Civilian National Security Force" just established by Directive 1404.10?

San Francisco Archbishop George H. Niederauer has warned Nancy Pelosi that she's on the cusp of being denied the sacrament of Holy Eucharist - a defacto excommunication from the Catholic Church - because of her stalwart advocacy of state sponsored baby killing.   When I heard she was going to Rome, I suspected it was to tell the Holy Father, "Don't  mess with me Benny."  Now that the Vatican confirms her request for an  audience has been granted, I'm sure of it.  Meanwhile the faithful are praying that the Pope invokes the spirit of Torquemada, and burns this evil bitch at the stake.  Or, better, puts one through her black heart.  Say Amen.

Keeping Mum

TOO LATE MOVIE REVIEWS
Keeping Mum

If you haven't seen this 2005 release, and enjoy droll British humor, try Keeping Mum.  It's the story of a vicar's new housekeeper who helps family members out -- in her own way.  My advice is to avoid watching the trailer, because it cobbles together scenes that completely misrepresent the tone and tenor of the film.  Rowan Atkinson, for instance, would ordinarily never be associated with droll,  and the trailer leads us to expect Mr. Bean>  Nope, he plays his role as vicar very nicely, but as the straight man. (sample). Maggie Smith is always delightful, and she is here as "serial mom." The rest of the cast, which includes Patrick Swayze,  are quite up to the task.  A quite enjoyable couple of hours. It's an instant PLAY on NET FLIX

Mau Mau

Grandpa Hussein Onyango Obama and the Mau Mau.

Actual real Kenyan Mau-Mau.

Can we talk?  Here's how it is with me.  When I saw John Wayne being attacked by Japs in say, Sands of Iwo Jima, or by Injuns in say, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, I rooted for Wayne and the U.S.  When I watched the Brits being attacked by hordes of African savages in say, Zulu, I cheered as the Red Coats mowed them down. Of course, I understand that today's Zulu mofos would prolly be throwing Milk Duds at the screen, but  so what?

I'm telling you this, using contentious language, because Chrissie has a post about President Obama returning a bust of Winston Churchill that graced the Oval Office, and it  pisses me off.  It further emphasizes the rift between Western culture and the third world.  The rift between Americans and the filthy left.

The bronze by Sir Jacob Epstein, worth hundreds of thousands of pounds if it were ever sold on the open market, enjoyed pride of place in the Oval Office during President Bush's tenure.

But when British officials offered to let Mr Obama to hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: "Thanks, but no thanks.

The British Army kicked Mau-Mau ass during their Kenyan uprising. Among the asses kicked, evidently, was Grampa Hussein Onyango Obama's. Winston was British. 'Nuff said.

Where I explain stuff

How Much For the Little Girl?

The guys at the liquor store are always saying,

"Rodge, how is it that you're such a keen, always spot-on, observer of political perfidy, when others don't see, or even care, that Obama is an illegal alien puppet foisted upon us by people bent on bringing the United States down to the level of Brussels or Ethiopia?"

It's simple, I'm always thinking. Even after, especially after, 5 or 6 Bourbon Manhattans. Like this morning.  This Wall Street Journal  story, Obama's Rhetoric Is the Real 'Catastrophe'   is about Obama using fear mongering to raise the specter of another Great Depression.
First, he did so to win votes in the November election. He has done so again recently to sway congressional votes for his stimulus package.
This isn't news.  Democrats always employ their version of  crisis management  - create one from air, then manage to offer a solution that only they are willing to spend our money to solve.  But, here's what I saw  explained in a heart-beat.  The Obama-Caroline Kennedy alliance.

You'll remember that Obama turned the public perception of Caroline from "the darling little Kennedy girl,"  to "stupid Liberal twat"  in  just a few days during the campaign.  He needed the JFK association, because without achievements of his own, Obama cloaks himself in other's.

Ted was by then quite brain dead, so he set about seducing Caroline Kennedy.  For the Magic Negro, this was as easy as a gigolo working a Fort Lauderdale condo.  They were, together, the "Prince and Princess" of the American Left.  Obama whipped out his promise of Hillary's Senate seat - the Sec/State deal having already been struck, in return for the Clinton's silence about certain embarrassing truths they'd collected about him.  "But Barry," Caroline is said to have squealed,, "I've never had a public life.  I wouldn't know what to say."  To which Obama replied, "I'll teach you."  Which explains ...

Duct Tape Memories

Berkeley and the CIA

The Berkeley Experience

My best friend in the world received engineering and law degrees from Cal Berkeley, after his tour in Viet Nam.  Today we use e-mail and the phone, but back then, for several years, we exchanged weekly letters..  I'll call him i-Pod.  I loved his Berkeley letters, because he reveled in tweaking the pasty faced, anti-war students who dominated  campus politics. Remember the scene in Forest Gump, where Gump, wearing his newly received Medal of Honor, runs into the anti-war protestors, and they assume he must be a John Kerry ass-wipe?  Same thing with i-Pod.

Went to a campus mixer to survey the local talent. One starry eyed hippie girl was obviously smitten by my notoriety.    We drank wine out of paper cups,  and she asked if I'd witnessed any atrocities?  I said no. I told her that I did have a door gunner (he, a Huey pilot) who could dot the eye of a slope and his water buffalo with a single burst from 2000 feet.  She nearly passed out.  No pussy, but it was worth it.

iPod got the hell out of there after graduation from law school, and if he went back today, it would be in the pilot's seat of my B-52.  I'm telling you this because Mo Sup just called me in to watch a retired CIA operative,  Robert Baer,  on CBS News Sunday Morning.  The segment introduced Baer and his CIA wife from their retirement home in .... Berkeley, CA.  From whence they had also graduated many years back.  "Oh-oh," was my first thought.  Visions of Valerie and Mr. Plane danced in my head.  I was right.

Baer's message is that Iran is about to dominate Middle Eastern, and we have to recognize that dominance, and dance with them.  This, after he listed the string of attacks on the United States that Iran has engineered.  "But wouldn't that be rewarding bad behavior," countered the interviewer?  "Yes. but so what," replied Baer.  He hopes President Obama, whom he's been advising,  will take his advice and play nice with Iran's Mullah's.  The question of Iran's vow to nuke Israel out of existence wasn't asked.

I get the feeling we're in the process of being rolled here, and this is a pre-conditioning exercise.    Trust me on this.  People who graduated from Cal Berkeley, and  return to live out their lives, are not to be trusted.  Neither are people who take their advice.

PS.  We watched the Coen Brother's comedy of CIA errors Burn After Reading  last night.  It received bad reviews, but I liked it a lot.  Not so much, MoSup.  By picking Leon Panetta to be the next CIA director, Obama signals that he views the CIA as a joke too.

Fondling

Today's Tale
After 20 years of marriage, a couple was lying in bed one evening, when the wife felt her husband begin to touch her in ways he hadn't in quite awhile.

It almost tickled as his fingers started at her neck, and then began moving down past the small of her back.
He then slid his hand across her shoulders and neck, slowly worked it down over one breast, then the other, stopping just over her lower stomach.

He then proceeded to place his hand on her left inner arm, caressed past the side of her breast again, working down her side, passed gently over and then in between her buttock and down her leg to her calf.
Then, he proceeded up her inner thigh, stopping just at the uppermost portion of her leg. He continued in the same manner on her right side, then suddenly stopped, rolled over and became silent.

As she had become quite aroused by this caressing, she asked in a loving voice, 'That was wonderful. Why did you stop?'

'I found the remote,' he said.

Committee on Doubt and Uncertainty
A day in the life of House Financial Services.

Barney "Flappy Sphincter" Frank rides again.

Beans and Franks ...

Barney Frank, and democrats on the House Financial Services Committee were 95% responsible for the sub-prime mess that killed our, and the world's economy.  When you're democrat (not running against Obama) and get skewered by SNL, it's a sign that your sin is egregious, and too obvious to hide.  Frank, members of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Sen. Dodd escaped censure by their colleagues (duh), but did learn from their mistakes.  Right?

Wrong, donkey ass breath ....
Anyone trying to understand why the credit mess keeps getting messier needs only to have sat through Wednesday's hearing of the House Financial Services Committee. The eight bank CEOs were mere props. The stars were the politicians, who managed to demand more loans for consumers while simultaneously giving lenders new cause to wonder if they'll ever be repaid. This gathering of the esteemed Committee on Doubt and Uncertainty occurred as markets desperately need less of both.

Chairman Barney Frank's hearing was intended to flay the CEOs for not lending enough. It fell flat as political theater because banks have actually increased their lending in recent months. The people who aren't lending more are investors in nonbank financing such as asset-backed securities. [WSJ cont]

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A senior U.S. lawmaker said Thursday that unmanned CIA Predator aircraft operating in Pakistan are flown from an airbase inside that country, a revelation likely to embarrass the Pakistani government and complicate its counterterrorism collaboration with the United States.

The disclosure by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, marked the first time a U.S. official had publicly commented on where the Predator aircraft patrolling Pakistan take off and land.

At a hearing, Feinstein expressed surprise at Pakistani opposition to the ongoing campaign of Predator-launched CIA missile strikes against Al Qaeda targets along Pakistan’s northwest border.

“As I understand it, these are flown out of a Pakistani base,” she said of the planes. ... Idiot continued

Dear Mahmoud

Dear Mahmoud
Obama's Letter to Ahmadinejad

Dear Mahmoud,

I won! (I just love saying that.) And as promised throughout my historic campaign, I am now reaching out to you Mahmoud, Holocaust denier, funder of terrorism, despotic ruler of Iran. This symbolic gesture of my respect is just the beginning of my grand plan to bolster my rightful place in history.

For while Americans have been deliriously celebrating my election as the first African American President of the United States, Arabs the world over are celebrating the election of the first President of the United States descended from Muslims. And to show my gratitude for the vast support of the Muslim world, I very graciously gave my first media interview on Al Arabiya. I finally felt free to discuss my Muslim roots; the rich ancestry of which I am so very proud.

So now dear friend, feel free to call me by my Allah given name, Barack Hussein Obama. And while I quite enjoyed the citizens of this great country calling me the Messiah, I am absolutely thrilled that I can bring my middle name out from hiding. (Speaking of coming out of hiding, did you see Qaddafi's brilliant analysis of the Mideast conflict in my favorite publication, the fair and balanced New York Times?)

I do hope that all of my fans in the Middle East watched me on Al Arabiya -- I love a big audience. You and I have that in common. The only difference is that I draw my crowds with promises of hope and change and you draw your crowds with promises to nuke Israel. Those little differences in rhetoric are what make the world go round.

Yet I digress. As I said in the interview, I look forward to renewing the friendship that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago. Despite the death of our soldiers in the Somalian intervention, the slaughter of Marines sleeping in their barracks in Lebanon, and the seizure of the US Embassy in Tehran (reminder to self: call Jimmy Carter for additional advice on Middle East policy), I am sure that the Muslim people respected America back then. In order to forge a return to this friendship, I promise only carrots going forward. (I'm saving the sticks for those pesky Republicans -- I'll achieve bipartisanship even if I have to beat it out of them.)

So Mr. President (from one Supreme Ruler to another), I look forward to meeting you without any preconditions, even if you have requirements prior to a get-together. Notwithstanding your pledge to wipe Israel off the face of the map and ... (American Thinker Continued)
